richmond500: Sharia for south?, them deh crase?
If they have problems, they should go to kano sharia court and settle their case.
Humans are scary, if u give them a chance to start their sharia here, they may end up forcing sharia on us. To before warned is to before armed Shatap! South west has over 65% Muslims, it is only right that sharia is provided to cater for their needs. You are an intolerant bigot. Muslims are majority in Yorubaland, and as you know, majority wins the vote. |
Romance › Re: My Relationship Is About Crashing by Elliot2(m): 11:52am On May 28, 2021 |
Authentic2008: Good evening family. I am a young of 28yrs old and a final year student of one of the prestigious university in Nigeria.
A few month back, I met this lady who happens to be a student of this same university. At first we started as friends and during this friendship, I discovered that she has a boyfriend but the relationship wasn't that ok. During our friendship, she told me that, it was this guy that breaks the padlock (u know what I mean). At the long run the guy broke up with her due to mistrust, insecurity and mistreatment. During this period of our friendship, I developed feelings for her cus of her trained personality and religious upbringing. As a very sharp guy, i took my opportunity and talk to her, she agreed and we started dating officially. The relationship was very smooth and we mingled also( Hope u understand).
Suddenly, this same ex of hers calls her and begins to apologise. She agree to his pleas without considering my feelings..To cut it short, they started dating back.
Few days later, she came back and started apologising to me saying that she loves me, she feels free whenever she is with me and that I always makes her to concentrate more on the things of God and mostly the qualities she wants in a man that she finds it in me...
But anytime this guy talk to her and beg her, she will agree and go back to him...
Funny enough I've come to love her deeply. Am really confused and I need ur advise on what to do.
YOUR COMMENTS WILL BE HIGHLY NEEEDED One way I am using to weed myself off of these kinda girls is to ask myself if at age 70yrs, will I be proud that this girl is the grandmother to my unborn grandchildren? |

gentlestdude: damn So annoying. The trauma of that event lasted for days, I was having panic attacks, each night after my release I woke up in the night and the light is off, it felt like I was still in the cell. That one day in the cell felt like eternity, I woke up over 20 times in that cell due to the cold chilling bare floor and the shout and beating of inmates due to the uncomfortable space. The floor smelt of poo and piss, and the toilet right their with us with all that filth. We were over 20 persons in a very small space of 9ceilings. I am scarred for life, because I never envisaged to have that sort of experience because I always tried to be clean and avoid troubles. It was after the whole ordeal, I realised that my IPO who handled my case was even my fellow Ijaw man from Bayelsa state. He heard me speak Ijaw with my family members over the phone. He then said I was too weak, and that if I had protested harder about my innocence, that I would have been released and not go through that ordeal. I was perplexed. I thought I was trying to be a good citizen by allowing the police do their job to investigate my claim of owning those properties. I weak. |

mjj2020: You are very stupid to be begging like this. Very wrong format. Nobody owes you any obligation. Nonsense. It is okay if you don't want to help cos you suspect it is a fraud. I understand. But my very experience has taught me to be kind at heart. It was just last year, I came online here to beg cos I needed money to buy drugs, but none helped. In fact someone accused me of being a fraud. That heartbreak made me to stop taking drugs, and I went on to finally get the cure for my health challenges. Now I tell nairalanders free of charge how I treated some of those issues. |

PeaceforNigeria: I personally agree with kmcutez's observation as per this article ; https://www.nairaland.com/6573483/chinese-indians-lebanese-polluting-waters#102108492
My personal reply is as follows ; • We allowed slavery TWICE (Arab & Transatlantic) • We allowed Colonialism • We allow Neo-colonialism • Now we allow any 'tom, dick and harry' come into our land and devastate our forests and waters • We are very short sighted • We seek immediate gratification, so it is easy to tempt us with all sorts of worthless temporary luxuries • We are the most tribal people on this planet , so it is easy to divide us • We are easily brainwashed with religion.
etc etc The dragon of revelation is a black man, he relinquished his powers to the white beast. |

BKayy: Leave those nincompoops. They think we don't know what is/really happening/happened. Their madness of claiming Ndigbo and their land after the fall of Biafra has come to an end. As for those that have been conquered and agreed to stay with them, we dash them and won't bother them about that. People like Ikwerre, Ekpeye, Omuma and Ika have been dashed to the Bini. As for Igala, those they are after can never be theirs because they haven't been conquered like those listed. That is places like Asaba, Enugu Ezike etc. As for Ijaw they can manage Ubani if the indigenes still agree to but as for Opobo and Ndoki, we will die there. That one is too late Let them continue fooling themselves, we all know the story. All the emergency history that was written post 1970 and Nigeria rushed to fan is VOID. You can't tell me that someone that denounce you, doesn't share linguistic, cultural and even phenotype with you is your people against there will and you expect us that are related to the person to keep quiet because you will call us attache by force? No we will wrestle in that mud you are dragging our brother to. No room for senseless pride. You want madness, we mad together I agree with you. I really wish Biafra can just limit themselves to the just the Igbo affiliated areas, cos adding my people ijaw and other tribes is just unnecessary extra baggage. My people, ijaws are too lazy and selfish to be included in Biafra. I agree, even if it means to go to war to bring back all Igbo speaking areas, it should be done. No Igbo person or land be given to Nigeria or any group. |

Igboid: If they continue this way, they would make peaceful co-existence as neighbors between us and them post NIGERIA imminent disintegration when the Hausa-Fulanis have been put out of the picture, a very violent and vendetta driven one. It's not bad enough that these Minorities had their Hausa-Fulani collaborators carve Obiigbo out from old Imo state just because the land had large amount of crude oil and their (minorities) greed and cravings for the oil there aligned with the FG post civil war Igbophobic Agenda of stripping Igbo mainland (East Central state) of all oil producing areas, they had benefitted from crude oil derived from Obiigbo while leaving the place in penury, but they have also now taken it up a notch for the past few years with attempts of genocide on Ndiigbo in Obiigbo. There should be a heavy price to pay for all these insolence at the appropriate time, which is why I'm against IPOB multiethnic Biafra with these minorities, because such arrangements might tie our hands. We surely have a score to settle with these Igbophobic minorities, these lots can't surely be allowed to get away with all these provocations. I agree with you. |

TONYE001: There is no place called Ikwocha (I may have spelt this wrongly) or Obigbo in Rivers State.
It is rightly called OYIGBO.
As IPOB goes about pursuing their course, they must understand that the people of Rivers State cannot be forced into being Biafrans.
I cannot claim to be speaking for other people but I am very sure that I do not desire to be a Biafran.
I have absolutely nothing against any group of people asking to break away from a parent country. You will be given in due time to choose either Nigeria or Biafra. You can start sensitization now in order to get the numbers when the time comes. |

ygowon: Opobo (Or Opubo-ama, being a name derived from that of a revered Bonny king, Opubo the Great) is located to the east of the Kingdom of Bonny. Bonny and Opobo are of the same origin, both belonging to the Ibani tribe. An Igbo man (who was subsequently initiated into the Ibani) called Jubo Jubogha rose from slavery to lead the Anna Pepple chieftaincy house of Bonny. In 1870, Jubo first arrived in what is now Opobo, having moved there due to a civil war in Bonny between his followers and those of Chief Oko Jumbo, the leader of the rival Manilla Pepple chieftaincy family.[3] He was accommodated by the Nkoro leader King Kpokpo,[4] and formed what he called the "Kingdom of Opobo" soon afterwards. The king named his new state after Amanyanabo Opubo "Pepple" Perekule the Great, a Pepple king in Bonny that had reigned there from 1792 to 1830.

AdakaBoro8: according to u, u hate to see niger delta emerge right?? I don't hate it. But I do feel that we lack the will to get Niger Delta republic. And besides, we lack quality leaders who could bring the desired results. Our agitations just surround only on oil, and I am afraid, I don't want that kind of lazy country. My attachment to the east is borne out of the belief that economically and even developmentally, they can succeed because they are a very determined people and as a people that can rub of on us too if we play along. Bro, we lack foresight as a people. Look how we allow Nigeria use our oil anyhow, while we benefit nothing. My family lands all have oil and gas, but there is nothing to show for that wealth. Even now that I have formed a youth movement to clamour for more rights and opportunities for the youth, I am faced with opposition from my own leaders already bought over with money. Our leaders here in the south are all lazy, selfish and greedy. I can't imagine a Niger Delta republic where these same leaders who join forces with Nigeria to impoverish us still control the resources. Just massive looting for them. I want Biafra, because with that there would be a semblance of sanity and a broader playing ground. Imagine the havoc these leaders will cause with more power and resources in their hands. |
