domack99: Four days ago, i was transfering a folder that contains movies on my External Hard Drive (Transcend 500GB) to a laptop (Window 7) and i notice that the process was taken more than usual, i tried all that i could to abort the procee but the time remaining kept on increasing. I also tried task Manager but that didn't work either, eventually i pull out the USB cable from the laptop and the task ended. I later found out that all the folders on the drive has disappearred leaving only item that were not in any folder.Try and run smadav antivirus on the drive. |

Knowledge9000: Yoruba busy bodies and their jealousy of Igbos, and now directing this in full force at our beautiful, brilliant, highly educated and high profiled Igbo women. Today is Stella Oduah, tomorrow is Oby Ezekwesili, next week it's Dora Akunyili, a week before was Ndidi Okereke-Onyiuke, few months ago was Joy Ogwu. Ungrateful people...these smart Igbo women are magnanimously running this country for the benefit of all; including you...Yorubas. What are you people contributing to this enterprise called Nigeria? Absolutely nothing. The Igbos, South-South and Hausas are running the show today in every level of the federal government....PRESIDENT, VICE-PRESIDENT, SENATE PRESIDENT, DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT, SPEAKER, DEPUTY SPEAKER, CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE FEDERATION...NO YORUBA ANYWHERE IN THE LEADERSHIP OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA THAT THEY CLAIM TO BE A MAJOR PART OF...VERY FOOLISH, WEAK, DECREPIT, FEAR-STRICKEN PEOPLE WITH LOW IQ. You all are not ashamed that you can't produce brilliant women of the caliber of Igbo women to contribute to the growth and development of this country. They will come up with the same ONE person Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. That's all they got? Nuisance. How can a sane person post this garbage? If this mindset continues about ethnic differences especially with the youths of this country, i'm afraid we still have millions of years to go as a country that can be respected in the comity of nations. I've observed that Ibo always play the victim card whenever it comes to issues in this country, the reason is what i can't place my fingers on. To put the bad establishment on it toes, the youth of this nation must come together to chat a common cause not bickering anytime there issues which should be collectively addressed. |

Th fact remains that these hardmen must surely carry out their threat if GEJ is not allowed to contest in 2015. The question now is can the Nigerian military stop them. |
It is becoming clear that if GEJ is stopped, there will be war in the delta. |
President Goodluck Jonathan has called for an emergency meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) today, the agenda of which was not disclosed. Although there were fears that a cabinet reshuffle may be in the offing, a senior presidency official explained that it was not really unusual for the President to call for an emergency FEC meeting if there was a pressing national need for such. “There is no need for the ministers to be jittery or the meeting to be hyped as it is not unusual for the President or any organisation to hold emergency meetings to iron out issues”, said the official. I've been a ardent follower of your thread. I'll advice that you leave the thread in the sexuality section because taking it somewhere else denies you constructive comments from your followers. I remembered what happened to Maxi's thread, he had to hurriedly finish the thread because of constant derailing. Let's keep on enjoying your stories and the comments. |

Nkemtreasure: Sorry if I may differ slightly. Could someone tell us how much the US government paid victims of hurricane Sidney & the just past Arizona Tonado. I think it's high time we started(start) this insurance policy thing. Yes, no matter what, the Government will always chop but I think it is because we haven't been able to use what is already available and this would give them an excellent opportunity to CHOP. My home town in Imo was flooded, only for the FG to give the town of over 5000 people 5million. From the state, nothing. Nigeria we hail. Please stop misleading the public and get your facts right. About 500 million was given to Imo State through the state government but only 75 million was disbursed. What happened the remaining? |
Policewoman: HE IS EVEN IN SECONDARY SCHOOL Abeg go find your mates for KIDS sectionSeriously, i'm totally disappointed in whoever moved this rubbish to the front page. I thought the front page is meant for adult viewing and comments. Seun needs to do something about this before he starts loosing the matured mind on this forum. These are the people why companies advertise in your forum not because of kids. |
thelastpope10: Jang's evidence is govs queuing behind him. What evidence is bigger than that?Coward and unprincipled governors abi! |
slimghost: And your point is? Its obvious you have comprehension problem. Am not disputing the validity of the election exercise, all i asked was "how did Amaechi become the NGF chairman in the first place?" but i guess you cant answer that. FYI, dude came there as a consensus candidate as no election was held (the constitution they adopted had no room for elections). But guess what, the power drunk fool rushed and amended the constitution giving room for elections and re-election without the consent of all the governors. Truth is, he came as a consensus candidate and now Jang is the NGF chairman as a consensus candidate too. Let him deal with it. One problem i have with you is that you always let your hatred for GEJ becloud your sense of reasoning.Oga reasonable fellow, they all participated in the election. If their faction had won, we wont be hearing all these. They took a gamble which backfired. Bunch of bad losers. |
Executive Secretary of Anti-Corruption Network, Dino Melaye, has expressed his readiness to face the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke, in court to substantiate the allegations made against the minister, bordering on alleged abuse of office. The former House of Representative member, who spoke on Wednesday in Abuja, said his group would resist any form of harassment in its fight against corruption. Reports had it that Adoke had filed a N10 billion libel suit against Melaye and his group, for maligning him through publication of defamatory stories. The AGF, in the suit, is also seeking a perpetual injunction restraining the defendants, their agents or privies from further publishing libelous stories about him. But, Melaye, who however stated that he and his group were yet to be served any court summons at the time of filing this report, maintained that he stood by the allegations and was waiting eagerly and desperately to be served. He described the decision of Adoke to approach the court as a welcome development, saying that he and his group had only released about 10 per cent of evidence of abuse of office against the minister. “We are waiting for him to serve us; and I want to say without fear or favour that I, Otunba Dino Melaye, Executive Secretary of Anti-Corruption Network, and the Network, we stand by everything we have published on Mohammed Bello Adoke word for word, full stop for full stop, semi-colon for semi-colon, comma for comma; everything we have published about him as abuse of office and flagrant disregard for legal rules and regulations and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria “Neither the Anti-Corruption Network nor my humble self as the administrative head of the organisation has been served any summon or proceeding.
