kritikul:I dunno, but your post may be coming across like you are in need of some sex yourself and probably a bit jealous? Men and women have been promiscuous since the start of time. Kings and popular figures in the holy books have many wives, from King Solomon to Abraham, down to Muhammed. So what is the big deal? I hope you realise, it is exactly none of your business, whatever he gets up to. The most you can say is ask him to make less noise during is sexual session. As for being afraid and worried, you cannot use the actions of as a few to judge all the men. There are decent men out there, if you look hard enough. ![]() |
Not only are your post will suggest you are insecure, but perhaps a control freak too? Now, I am not saying you are directly, but merely point out your post is pointing that way. Insecurity is defined as The state of feeling insecure; uncertainty; lack of confidence.and let us see if your post falls in line. Kingsleyinfo:Your example here is a bit bland. Nothing exactly wrong with your woman keeping in touch her ex, however from a male's point of view, I can see the problem. Now what makes you insecure here is the fact that you are demanding. The emphasis here is on the word "Demand". It is more a reflection of how uneasy you feel about and a borderline insecurity may be the basis. Also instead of talking with your woman, you appear to be making a demand, which is more or less like trying to control someone. She is a woman for God's sake and have her own mind. I really don't understand this being insecure issue. If you love someone you should trust them but that does not mean you can't check on her sometimes to know if you are still on track. By checking i don't mean spying, i simply mean being a little bit nosy. So when is one crossing the line between just checking or being insecure. Your definitions and Experiences are welcome. We can learn from each other and learn how to overcome being insecure. While not being ignorant of certain things we should take note of.Again your examples are not that forthcoming and clear enough for me here. Well, you can trust someone. But if you see the need to constantly check on them, then it may come across as you wanting to know their every move etc. I mean, you might as well "GPS-tag" your woman, that way she is on-demand at your convenience all the time. ![]() Nosiness can be okay at times. Some say that it tells a lady in and indirect way that you care about what they do etc. However, one do not have to make it a regular habit as it become tiresome and creeps into insecurity [see definition above] and control zone. |
Okay. I'm sure there is a Producer/Director waiting to find you. ![]() |
bawomolo: bawomolo:I am giving him the benefit of "being new around here" lol. I honestly do not see the contradiction he is claiming I have made. He's asked me to re-explain and I did, yet he wont say nothing anymore, Only that I do not see how I contradicted myself in the first place. |
Hahaha Nigerians are fighting back! Who say homosexual is a disease? ![]() |
RICHIE BOI:Unprovoked? I think some will tell you that MEND is an illegal group under Nigeria's constitution. ![]() |
waterworks:Say what? You are automatically dismissing everyone's view and use yours to truncate others? Not exactly a nice way of starting an advice/debate. If she cant read or write at all that is a big step to be taken ohh. she cant do any of the basic things, writing list for the market, dropping a simple note for someone, sending a text!!? How many other things wont she know about? We often take school for granted but the fact is apart from reading and writing there are other things we learn in school. biology, history, government economics, music, art name it! Lets not forget that she has grown up in the aunty's saloon so its not as if she could have learnt any office or such related skills. SO NUMBER ONE it is a big deal.Please. It is a well known fact that people who cannot read or write have excellent memory. So she will probably not need a shopping list like you are pointing out. My friend's mum have little or no schooling, yet she runs the house and her memory is very good. Not going to school is not an indication that people will not do well in life. Surely, you should know this, after all you appear to have been schooled? yes the next thing is enrolment in school and all that yes learn to read and write. Is that going to really make up for all the other things she has missed out? i personally don't think she will ever be on the same level of the poster and depending on what kind of environment the saloon had she might have some bad and backward habits and or mentality. (not necessarily though)What are these things she should make up for? What do you mean "on the same level". Here, I personally wont date someone like you because of your logic. Can you not see the flawed logic?NUMBER 2 If the poster is ready to marry her she will need to meet up to a certain standard. one where she can relate on many levels with the poster regarding, work and being able to offer more entailed advice and ideas. she might need to broaden her horizons. you should at least have the basic knowledge to at least help your children with home work, encourage them to read, correct their spellings etc. Yes there is always the option of the lesson teacher but it creates some sort of bond. (as i child i always looked forward to when my mum guided me with me assignments, daily class summary's and when i showed her what i had done in school that day it helped that she understood!).Again she do not need education to do any of these. A man from the Maisai tribe in Kenya was taken by an English documentary producer, as a result he travelled to almost 30 countries of the world as of the late 90s. His horizon is probably more broaden than my because quite frankly, I haven't visited 30countries even though I would be considered as someone who is educated. all im saying is that it is actually a big deal and it would take patience and commitment. it all depends on what the poster expects from a partner.I don't know which school of thoughts you subscribe to, but it is not a big deal considering that the guy actually loves the girl. Do you oppose "educated" people from dating/marrying "uneducated" people? Just a thought! ![]() |
Religion is a form of control! Nothing wrong with cross-faith marriage. However, you may need to weigh the pro and cons. |
List updated DEALERS WITH GOOD FEEDBACKS.More to come as people are adding then. |
nana:Yes. It is looking that way at the moment. Keep an eye on the thread and register your interest. ![]() |
hoeyeadoe:There are plenty of desperadoes in the Romance section. |
As far as am concerned. Existence of thread like this are nothing, but an indication of poor moderation. ![]() |
@Freshmoney. Is it possible you can post any link to that supports those "Good sellers"? I will add them to the list. Thanks. PS This is all am asking, it ain't Rocket science! Yet a few individual see the need to act as a fool. |
Source please? I'm off to check this out on other sites. |
^^ Headfcuk. Makes no sense. Noting controversial about your post. ![]() |
nuzo:The more I read his filth, the more I am inclined to think he is a bitter person. He's stalked me on YIM and across threads. He even makes threats of immigration at people coming to an event we are trying to organise. I can only think he was here on illegal papers and was promptly removed by the immigration officials. Surely, someone with his kind of mentality will stick out like a sore thumb in the society. |
MasterUgwe:I think it is your body, and as such you can do what you want. ![]() |
Never engage in a civil conversation with an slowpoke. They usually lack the IQ to grasp the complexity of acting civil. ![]() |
Akpangbon:Where is the common sense? Why the resentment? Why the display of bitterness? ![]() Note to self: Never engage in a civil conversation with an slowpoke. They usually lack the IQ to grasp the complexity of acting civil. ![]() |
Akpangbon: ![]() Please post with some common sense, and without resentment or bitterness. Is that too much to ask? ![]() |
Dude get yourself a camcorder and shoot a demo of it. Then showcase it plus the full story so as to enhance it. You will probably get more interest that way. |
Yawn. Please do not feed the troll. Why are the mod not locking this down yet? This is a thread from the same I_laugh/mosun_ade/Tombola/Akaponggon. |
Busy_body:I have good grounds for disagreeing with him. Read the link I posted for the actual reason. ![]() I am trying be fair, hence why I said I will await more people's response before I make any adjustment. I suppose you missed this? [Perhaps on purpose, so as to allow your need to bicker?] ![]() |
Busy_body:Thanks for the constructive post. ![]() 190:Thanks for that. However, a car seller wanting raw cash is not exactly a bad business practice though. I will a bit weary to add him to that list. I suppose I should wait for the overall feed back from people before I start updating the list. For example, I disagree with Friendl's approach, yet he appears to have made it to your recommended list. |
^^ How long can you keep this up for? People here speak primarily English as a second or perhaps even third language. Provided one can have an of understanding of what they are saying, then I really do not see the point to be a Grammar Nazi. ![]() |
There is nothing demonic about tattoos and piercing. However, symbols associated with satanic worship, church or any other "spiritual organisation" can be tattooed on to the skin. The whole idea of tattoos originally is to beautify the skin, and if memory serves me right, it originated from Africa. It is only over the past decade or so, that it is become a popular culture with the western world. I think the only off-putting issue for people is that, it some how present the person as not confirming to the "norm" hence probably why the stigma? Don't forget, you are dating the person and not exactly the tattoo. ![]() |
Sorry dude. Move on. I know it is hard, but there isnt much you can do about it. There are many ladies out there looking for a nice guy like you. It will be hard, but you will really have to move on and close that page in your life. Find something to keep your mind off her. Try a new hobby or something. Or put all those pain and into something productive and beneficial to you. Good luck. |
Given the fact that there are plenty of car-sellers around here. I am thinking it may be a good idea to have a Feed back system where Happy and disgruntled [Unhappy] customers can post their personal review and experience here. The idea is simple. If you have bought a car from someone in the past and you are happy or unhappy about the process, let us know. Please provide us with Name of the seller and a brief statement of what happened. I know it is not a fool proof idea, but then it shows that we won't be taken for a ride by people who are dubious in their way. Please provide us with more details. I will be updating this first post so as to keep people update. All your inputs are appreciated. Can a mod please make this a sticky? I will keep it updated. BLACKLIST OF KNOWN SHADY AND BAD CAR DEALERS: Name: Friendl Reason: He is selling a car with questionable car mileage. When questioned about this, he is refusing to give any other reason other than accusing people of jealousy. The full thread can be found here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-251100.0.html#msg3875715 It also appears this is not the first time he's done such thing. GOOD LIST OR THOSE WHO HAVE PROVED RELIABLE ON NAIRALAND Name: Ayodeji1 From what I can gather here, he appears to have delivered a few vehicles and overall, people are happy with what he is doing. Here is one example: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-231107.0.html Inspiredman Viperman Babeisme Jenju More to be added. |
No it isnt. Some people feel comfortable with other sexes than their own. No biggie. However, you may need to be careful so it do not affect your relationship. ![]() |
friendl:I'm sorry, but it is idiotic at the very least if that is the best you can come out with, when questioned about what appears to be mileage fiddling. 4million naira is a lot of money and to keep going on like everything is okay is just stupid. This is a public forum and as such, there should be accountability. If I am a mod around here, I wont allow people like you to put up your car advert here since you wont answer questions. I am compiling a list of shady car dealers, and your name will be on it. |
