Good news everybody!

I have done a few "finding a venue mission". So, here goes: There is a place called Biz Bar in Catford, London. It seems to be the about perfect place. They cater for african foods, drinks and what not. They even have good music blasting out their stereo. And what more? They have a basement we can use for our private function with comfy lounge-like chair, plus plenty of room to connect the tv and ps3. Cool

I have spoken to the owner of the place, and so far discussed price and what not. Now, there are two options. We can either turn up and just use the place, or alternatively, we can contribute and have food to eat [not sure if drinks are included].

From my calculation, we may be seeing about 30people or so turning up and as such they owner wants to charge us 5pounds a head - this will cover food [Rice, plaintain and stew]. If anyone wants to get fancy with their food choice, then you need to let us know here.

I am therefore asking us to start talking about contribution - I mean 5pounds a head aint bad.

If people will suggest a venue and people vote, then sure why not? However, if you are yet to post a venue or do a bit of leg work, I think it is a bit short-sighted.

The venue I posted is an option, and people can decide what they want to do.

For some reason I have never been mugged since the time I have spent in the south east. The parents are wrong in this case. Do you accept that? He can marry who he wants, it is his cup of tea and as such if his parent do not want him to be happy, then he can be happy without them - i.e get married without their blessing. How hard is it to get it that?

Parent bringing him to this world, and paying his school fees is irrelevant! They shouldn't have had him if they cannot look after him. It is their choice to bring him to this world not his. However, his choice of who he marries lies with HIM and not the parents who are very wrong in their approach in this case.

V8 are suitable for off-roaders and sub-super cars in my opinion. V6 strikes the balance better for economy and performance lol

Oooohhhh thanks man. I saw the vehicross here [UK] like two years ago and my god, I was drolling over it. I beleive less than 1000 of it was made. It is an awesome car, while I try to shy away from anything bigger than 2.5 litre, I will gladly buy a vehicross. I test drove the car and my god, it is something out of this world. I love the TOD [Tourque on Demand] system. It would be very ideal for Nigeria roads.

I had a mitsubishi FTO and it comes with the MIVEC V6 engine. I must say having owned for about 2years, all cars must be legislated to come in V6. I personally believe that it strikes the balance between acceptable performance and economy!

I never had a single problem with mine, I love the sound of it and how it just picks up speeds. I love the smoothness of the engine - comes with 24 valves [or is it 16??]. One of the known quips people have with it is that changing plugs in them can be difficult as they are located in odd places - shape of engine - other than that, I really do not see any issue with them.
