GamingRe: Are Video Games Meant For The Kids Alone? by ElRazur: 9:18am On May 16, 2009
haroldpatt:
I actually wanted to know if the adults are seeing it as a way of relieving stress. I sometimes play computer games in the office during lunch hour as a way of relaxing. What do you think?
Game playing can be used by individual for relieving stress. In fact ,individuals can do anything to relieve stress. When it comes to games, I play them because I am a keen gamer.

haroldpatt:
Before this video games were the absolute preserve of children. But this days, it seems the reverse is becoming the case. Is it normal?
Erm it is a billion dollar industry. Even the games for kids are made by "adults". I personally do not think it was marketed at children from the start. Even the first computer games by pioneers like Atari and co were expensive back then and the target market obviously would have been adults.

Are you just advertising a website? undecided

We already know the Northern are not civilized.
Oh my god! The irony!!

In case you don't get it, your thread from last night is an example of an uncivilised mind and idea. Posting links and not saying anything constructive is viewed by some as acting uncivilised on the forum. Your inability to string together an articulate sentence is again viewed by some as how uncivilised you are across the forum. Jeez dude, get a grip.

Nice one. Keep it up. undecided

As of 2005:

Just 13 of Britain's 659 MPs are from ethnic minority groups, he added.
I think this is about right, given the population figures. I am not sure if these figures have gone up since then or not.

PoliticsRe: You, yes YOU, are The Reason Why Nigeria Is 'Running' Backwards, Disprove It! by ElRazur: 8:35am On May 16, 2009
Good post. However, will people around here take it to heart? I very much doubt that. Given the fact that poor moderation flourishes around here, and it is almost like the wild wild west, I suppose people who really do not belong here are able to get away with posting second rate views.

Part of the solution may be to promote active moderation, zero tolerance on off topic and irrelevant posts and a complete ban on people who flaunts any of these guidelines. But, like I said in the past, I believe the owner makes a bit of revenue from the amount of traffic here, hence why little or no action? smiley
Music/RadioMichael Jackson Have "skin Cancer" by ElRazur(op): 8:30am On May 16, 2009
Michael Jackson is secretly fighting skin cancer, it was claimed last night.
The 50-year-old was said to be diagnosed last month after doctors saw spots of cancer on his neck and pre-cancerous cells on his face.

Experts believe the disease is treatable and aides say the star is determined to make a full recovery.
It is believed the King of Pop is still set to perform his 50 sell-out UK comeback concerts this summer.
It is thought the famously pale star’s condition could be linked to vitiligo, a disease he was diagnosed with in the 1980s that affects skin pigmentation.

I wish him all the best. undecided Hopefully he would be able to perform all his UK dates. smiley

Gosh people getting worked up already. This is a thread based on "IF" nothing more. This gives his thread no validity at all, I dunno why a few people are getting worked up already. Just ignore him and he will soon fade away and go back to posting silly news link.

Orikinla:
Suddenly many Nigerians have discovered Facebook and unsolicited invitations to join them flood the inbox and most of them are young nubile girls and young women.
Shocking! You don't say. A new trend is sweeping our society, wow breaking news, that would be first.

What are these invitations for anyway?
Will the number of "friends" you display on Facebook boost your ego or what?
I hate to point the obvious, how about join and find out? You never know what you will find.
Do you get paid for inviting anyone or what?
Are you getting paid to make silly threads?

I know that many now use Facebook to look for dates and mates.
Are you one of them?
How did you know this if you never used face book? undecided Hear say?? I think you may need to join, think of it this way Jesus is on facebook, so is Muhammed and Obama [True story, I aint lying.]

Please, don't facelook me oh!
For someone who is not down with facebook, you kinda know the "facebook lingo" than I do. Are you sure you aint on facebook?

N.B:
I am not on Facebook.
My blogs are enough for social networking.
I regard unsolicited Facebook invitations as spam and junk and I delete them at first sight.
Really!
Your blogs? What about them?
I am tempted to regard your thread as junk, undecided

FamilyRe: I Dont Know Why by ElRazur: 6:12pm On May 15, 2009
^^ Cousins are allowed to date in some cultures. I believe first cousins are allowed to marry in India.
FamilyRe: I Dont Know Why by ElRazur: 6:01pm On May 15, 2009
Say what? No! Either you put an end to it, or put up with it. Telling your woman will probably shatter her. Remember, what she do not know sometimes wont hurt.

Let's face it, you wanted to kiss her too. If not, you wouldn't have allowed it in the first place. Just put an end to it, or go all the way! grin

By the way, in some cultures, cousins are allowed to date lol. grin

PoliticsRe: Lagos Installs 90 Cctv Cameras. by ElRazur: 5:04pm On May 15, 2009
Good move. I just need to point out that CCTV can be wired to use alternative sources/back up powers. So when their is a general blackout, they are still working.

90 cameras isn't enough, my old work place had about 86 or so, and this was even a shopping centre. So, how much more for a state.

Are other alternatives been considered for the venue? Also we need to start talking about how to put money together, It would be nice to pay in advance, and people can turn up and just know that food is readily available as a result. If we are using the place I suggested, 5pounds per head is not bad. smiley
