Is Siberia cold? Do bear shi.t in the woods? Stupid question. Stupid thread. ![]() |
Barca appear to be the better team now. Man-U are a bit jittery. |
Ronaldo's shoot on sight approach may eventually get him the equaliser. Barca defenders need to watch out on this guy. |
Man-U looks the better attacking team, however Barca have scored already! It just goes to show that Barca cannot be messed with. Ronaldo is been shooting on sight. . . . Time will tell if he will find the net. |
og2711:Suicide doors always have issues in my experience. The only ones who seem to last forever are the real ones found on super cars. shawn123:A thread about car pimping, and then people discussing pimpings, modifications et al. Yeah you are right, it is soooooooo not on topic. Only that your contribution so far is not exactly any addition to the topic at hand. Gosh! The irony. |
MrCrackles:http://www.thesupercars.org/fastest-cars/fastest-cars-in-the-world-top-10-list/ Yeah those footballers are living it up jare. Just go around Chelsea and you see many super cars just lining the streets, especially on a Friday evening. |
Actually, the Bugatti veyron is not the world most expensive car. It is however, the fastest production car ever. |
Stuff like these are tacky in my opinion. I dont like the massive wheels or the flamethrower decals. https://mymikenryanonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/love-vendor-my-ride-0053.jpg https://www.channel4.com/4car/media/features/2005/westwood/03-large/pimped-panda1.jpg I dont like this one either, the kit is too "in your face". However, the paint work looks nice. ![]() |
kablooee:It is very subjective isnt? The link I posted earlier one is an example of tacky and useless modification to a car. Even most of the mods done on "love-vendor my ride" have no taste in my opinion. I have been to car shows and my god, with the right mind and creative people, there isnt a limit to tasteful design. Speaking of tacky mods, I remember seeing a 42inch plasma screen at the inner back of a van. I mean, what is that about? Also things like putting massive wheels and spinners just don't dont it for me. I like subtle design, I like to retain the original car handly or at least improve it. etc, ![]() |
I dunno what to think to be honest. They are either seeking attention, or some would argue they are standing up to the western world. Personally, I very much doubt the US and her allies would want to attack NK, they have a Million strong Army and am not so sure if that would be the way to go. So far more missiles have been fired and the whole world aint really doing much. Not even the US or UN. Yeah they have been condemned, but what will that lead to? We shall see in due course I guess. |
Can I ask an off-topic question please. Do anyone actually take "Becomerich" serious? I have developed a habit of skipping his post after I made a mistake of taking him serious once, what a load of baloney. ![]() |
SubMacGun:Bingo. It sucks when people can't debate without some how bringing oils and what not in to it. I remember from my social studies days and Agriculutral science, those ground nuts images. They really do look like pyramid from the Pharaoh era ![]() In fact, here is one link: http://cache.gettyimages.com/xc/2665702.jpg?v=1&c=ViewImages&k=2&d=6E41E83E90A345BD7001246A224FE37FA55A1E4F32AD3138 |
Nigeria's constitution wont allow it. ![]() Also there are political and influential powers that will throw many obstacle to it that would make it highly improbable, if not impossible. They are making loads of money from the current state of Nigeria, and as such wont like to see anything affect their influence and income. ![]() |
mufasa:I agree with that. I wont mind seeing my dad's 505 evolution restored. Or the old chooper bike [anyone remember this?] brought back to live with the gear working etc. ![]() |
^^ Nice one jare. I aint no Pro Israel, however it grind my gears when people talk without much substance. Anyway, Iran's president would say anything to drum support and win votes. He aint no different from the Mullahs that pull the string from behind the scene. His approach is nothing but an attempt to bask in the "Obama glory". I hope the people of Iran will speak and vote him out to be honest. PS RIchyBlack. I am so waiting for you. ![]() |
We have it on the smart car back in Lagos. However, that was done from here - similar technology and components. The only down side is that the sealant may settle onto one side during shipping/long period of non use. However, for those who use their car every day, it does work well. I even have it on my bicycle here too. ![]() |
PeeDaVinci:They are Arabs isnt? I have seen their videos and while they have the money, some would argue that their approach is a bit tacky. ![]() Here is a youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uHsazOydss |
Is the Verosa not a Lexus? Looks like a UK version of the lexus. . . .can't remember the series again. . . .450 or so. |
LadyT:Eventually people get tired of the unnecessary post innit! I suppose all discussion would probably be via email mostly, and the thread for the "usuals" |
The modification scene [Mod scene] is still in its infancy and almost none existent in Nigeria. I had a mitsubishi fto and Smart car in the past and I can say those are the time I have been involved with the modification scene here in the UK. While things like body kits made from custom made fibre glass etc, modified headlamps, engine tune up, sexy wheels, complex *paint work and remaps are readily available. I think Nigerians are mostly interested in the car moving them from point A to B. Once there is extra cash for majority of the masses, then we can start looking the Mod scene taking off massively in Nigeria. At the moment, people will probably stick to the basics. *For example, the colour changes depending from what angle you are looking at it. It may change from metalic grey to sort of a blackish tone colour. They look good on most cars, and a single deep scratch may mean a whole car repaint, Who will be willing to do that in Naija? Apart from the rich boys? ![]() |
strangleyo:Yeah you know this because you know it all. And one more thing, keep attacking the messenger and not the issue at hand. Nice. ![]() |
Igwe.:I suppose some people are just too shallow. You know, they like the outside, but not what really lies on the inside? ![]() I couldn't care less if the person I truly love is bald, one-legged or one eyed. |
Reading your story, I think it is safe to conclude that "Show me your friend, and I will tell you the kind of person you are". Think about it. ![]() |
Techincally speaking, there isn't a "3 things" any one can do that will change Nigeria over night, Not even the Gods can make such a move. You just cannot change a nation of over 120million just like that. ![]() |
blacksta:Not at all. The site is open for all to access and post their views. The selection I made are a few that caught my eye. The topic is still up for debate [at the time am making this post], so technically anyone from anywhere interested in African politics or so can make a comment. |
For the record. Nigeria's govt. never turned 7000 army men on her people. For god's sake, that is just inaccurate. She instead turned 7000 men against a group - MEND. Please let us stop distorting the truth. |
If only things are that simple. In light of no explanation from you, I think it is safe to tell you that your view is highly inaccurate. ![]() |
Here is a paragraph explaining what this is all about. This week, Nigeria will mark ten years of uninterrupted democratic rule. In 1999, the then Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar handed over the reins of government to newly elected President Olusegun Obasanjo.I would like to hear from people here as well. In the mean time, here are a few of responses posted by people: Nigeria's demoncracy is stagnant or in comatose. There is no internal democracy within the political parties because, it was not our core cultural value. Democracy is not enshrined in our education system. Hence, you can get what you do not teach at school, home and society. Meritocracy is totally strange to our system. The essence of politics in Nigeria is for individual enrichment against poverty & egocentrism due our inborn value systems. The way out is confederation! No more, No Less!! Your answer can be viewed through the dual lens of the non-invitation of Nigeria to the G20 Summit earlier this year and US President Barack Obama's snub of Nigeria in preference for her smaller neighbour, Ghana, in his first African trip next month. There is no democracy in Nigeria besides corrupt civil rule. There is also no leadership. President Umaru Yar'Adua has taken Nigeria to new depths of electoral fraud with impunity; indolence, corruption, economic depression, and global invisibility Nigeria has shown herself to be a BIG disgrace in the comity [sic] of Nations in Africa to class herself as practising democracy.Rather it has been carrying on (s)election as if that should be the order of the day .A situation where the ruling party boast that it will continue to rule for 100 years goes to show that the peoples votes does not matter becuse they know how to rig themself to power. Nigeria has little or nothing to prove for a ten year self acclaimed democratic state. Obasanjo was installed by IBB and other nothern oligarchs just to console the yorubas on the denial of MKO as a presidet, andYa'ardua was solely appointed and installed by Obasanjo based on family relationship with Shehu Musa,so how does that reflect democracy. If we ordinary Nigerians don't have a say in who leads us, how can we have a say in how we are governed and how can we talk about democracy. It's pathetic Most unfortunately, the Nigerian democracy has made me to strongly and unequivocally believe the claim of the elite school of thought that democracy is a myth.Again there appear to be people saying the same thing. Why is it then, a few of us get mad when the obvious is pointed out? Anyway what are your views, and how would you grade Nigerian democracy? Personally, I how I feel is already made known several times. I wonder if there is ever a way out of this vicious cycle? For how long can we endure this for as a nation? You know, the same old story of corruption, rich getting richer and the poor remaining poorer. There isn't accountability and the whole scenario just seem bleak to be honest. **Sigh** Full transcript available here: http://newsforums.bbc.co.uk/nol/thread.jspa?forumID=6490&edition=1&ttl=20090524111921 |
