![]() Not dignifying in anyway. French President Nicolas Sarkozy has been accused of pandering to the far-right in an attempt to boost his popularity.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-10834643 |
9jaganja:True talk. As per Ghanaians, I don't think they are hating. It is nothing but a "healthy rivalry" between us. Same way you have that rivalry between Canadians and the Americans. |
Where is the outrage? Where are the so biased muppets who claim to be speak out against injustice? Or do they only come out when Israel/US/UK et al are involved? |
Letting emotions flow in a piece do not equate to facts. Personal opinions and possible observations do not amount to facts in any way either. To simply put, what solid proof or undisputed facts did the writer (from face book. Don't make me laugh) have access to in making such claims? I am Black and Nigerian, I do not feel I am hated by other blacks. Jeez. Also, observing some of the replies above, it appears a few actually share the view in the OP. Seriously, When will this self-pity, and victim mentality end? ![]() |
texazzpete:Damn. That is like cold-water-in-your-face type of talk. You are a meanie. |
snthesis:Definition of yourself is not a representation of these type of males. Thanks for noting for your input. Next time, can you read the thread as I have explained what makes these people Super Alpha in my opinion. |
Ujujoan:Not necessarily, you can be happy with a relationship, but as time goes by, you just realise it is not for you any more. We are humans and as such can have a change of view etc. No the alpha male part comes into it because of the disposable income, freedom, Hapiness etc these type of males have when compared to those who are in a relationship. |
Ujujoan:It is not that. Most of these people are coming from long term relationship, but they just cannot be bothered. Same goes for women. |
mikeansy:I love your nationalism, but our league is not ready for international stage. There is little or not money to be made from tv rights. Do you buy season tickets for Eyimba or any of those local teams? Probably not. |
otawa:Your argument is flawed. Even in developed countries, there is a strong taste for anything that is foreign. In the age of consumerism, people are willing and attracted to the option to which is foreign. Oh premiership is big business. To claim it is only UK is not true. I have Tring from Poland in my living room, guess what they paid to show the EPL too. I am sure they did that because there is a demand back in Poland for it. |
follypimpi:You are right, I think one of the biggest downer in a relationship maybe after a while is what most men are now seeing as an invasion of their own "man's space". Ladies sometimes do not see this and can just be a kind of "put up with it cuz you love me" type of thing. And yeah it can be vice versa too. |
stillwater:Since when is this about me? This is how thread degenerate quickly around here. How is "not bothered" becomes a fear? What gives you the motivation to suggest those who do may have done it all, or not bothered about relationship are cowards? Seriously, what gives? In life we have choices, and I think making the choice not to bother, is nothing but an adaptive and coping mechanism. They are Super Alpha simply because they have done it all and have more disposable wealth, time, and resources than their counterpart who are in a relationship. Do not forget also that these set of males do have females catering to and for them, they just do not engage in relationship like their counterpart will/are doing. stillwater:Do you read your own post? First it was boredom, then when that was pointed out to you as not the primary and exclusive factor, you looked at other options to try and pass as a justification. I am fine with your inconsistencies and changes in direction, at least try to be logical about things would you. While there are more than one factor, it is a bit of an unbalanced approach to keep suggest same old point in order to amuse yourself.vivaladiva:From my point of view, I think you have offered on of the best probable answers so far. Yes, man is going outside what is considered the norm now, and exploring different options. I dunno if you've watched Sex in the city, but from what I saw the idea of having an extra place where one of the couple can go and spend their "own time" alone is actually a good idea. And not far from what some of us are saying here. Yes relationship is nice, but some do not really think there is nothing more to it, or even over rated perhaps. |
mama-gee:Sorry it went over your head. But trust me, it is clear for all to see. Your point is as pointless as a mad man trying too darken a tarred window, if you think a wife material should be more than the qualities I listed above, fine. . .it's either you state more to the list or just ignore it and move on, don't start laughing cause you make yourself look ignorant.Yes it is very pointless simply because you do not understand it. ![]() |
stillwater:Please explain to me as to how one who is not bothered, all of a sudden becomes a man/woman that fears commitment? I have a feeling there is difference in both. |
stillwater:What is normal? An mean of the acceptable variation right? As it stand, we are social animals are we are supposed to be in pairs etc. However, there appears to be more and more of us in my opinion not going this way. Does this make them weak? Not really, it can be viewed as adapting to what life throws at one etc. It is not in anyway a form of weakness. ![]() More and more people staying away from marriage, people trying out different things than what is perceived as normal. I wouldn't think such moves makes them weak in my opinion. |
mama-gee:Yawn. I'm saying your view on what is wifey material, is about as credible as Osama bin laden preaching peace in the world. Your argument is so pointless that you'll laugh even at the slightest statement cause you don't have a better contribution. Not understanding my point, do not mean it is pointless. Yes I agree opinion varies and I respect that. Can you too respect that some things are funny to others, that, god forbid, may not be funny to you or go way over your head? |
mama-gee:Pele o. ![]() I am not mocking you or anything, but I find it funny that given how you come across at times here - No offence. Wifey material in my opinion is way more than those things you put out there. Again, I am not saying you are wrong, but just imagine someone like Osama bin laden preaching peace in the world. I am sure you will laugh too. ![]() |
stillwater:You may have a point, but most who are not bothered with relationship is mostly not from boredom. Probably a combination of other factors, but whatever the case, there may be an increase in such type of men in my opinion ~Sauron~: ![]() |
mama-gee:Lwkmd. That is like a Nursery pupil giving advice on Quantum Science and Neuro-mechanics. ![]() |
I think there is gradual rise of certain males who have done it all - Either married (and now separate or divorced), Have kids, Been in long term relationship etc- and now just not really fussed about relationship any more. Folks like these have what they want in terms of modern comforts, Jobs, place of their own and what not, but are just not keen a relationship any more. Anyone male here feel they probably belong to this new generation of Male? Sometimes, I am wondering if there is really a need for a relationship at time. I mean, Male like this can get sex if they really wanna, but do not see the need to be attached into another round of long term relationship or something? There will be the occasional "Ohhhhhs and ahhhhhs" when they meet new ladies, but the excitement quickly wear off after a while, and will probably need their own personal space etc, and cannot be bothered with the controlling aspect, and other wahala that comes with relationship at times. Anyone know what am saying? I also have a feeling, this may be applicable to some women too. |
The irony of it all is that Sanusi will probably watch all of the matches with government money on DSTV. ![]() |
Thank God for Motorised Satellite and Polish TV station called Tring. All matches will be seen here live. On the other hand, I can understand how many feel back home. ![]() |
Ileke-IdI:Nope. Uniform shows professionalism, and professionalism comes with pride. What are you talking about? He's got a job and he gets paid is my point. Will you prefer him begging on this street? ![]() EzeUche:The part in bold, shows you are subliminally racist and have an inferiority complex. Money is not everything. He is no different from the ashawo who spread their legs for everyone. Especially expatriates. Come to Port Harcourt and you will see how these women with loose morals act like.So you are saying a police officer who went to a police academy, graduated and got recruited and doing what he was trained to do is an Ashewo? I think am done with you. No vex if I no reply you again. I no want make this thread get derailed. ![]() |
Ezeuche. It is weird that you have shown inferiority complex, and in the process shown a form of intolerance in your comment towards whatever race the man in picture may be from. Please read your own post again. Speaking of pride, he is proud of his job and his uniform, and the fact that he takes money home and not living on the streets. Now, that is proper pride. |
Ileke-IdI:How many "tourists" pay police officer to guard them in naija? How many "tourists" come to Nigeria? By the way, do "Tourist attraction places" look like a building site? ![]() I have no proof he is a VIP, but judging by how VIP are treated, it is not far fetched to suggest he is one. Just look at the photo. |
EzeUche:There is a lot of things wrong with your comments. Let me put it nice and simple. Anyone can be racist. With all due respect, you may want to look up the meaning and actions of someone who is racist. I stand by what I said before, your post is filled with inferiority complex, and you have shown that again in the post above.I think we are moving away from the subject matter. Try and look at it in this simple ways - Black man work, black man gets paid. Does it matter as to which COLOUR or RACE his services are directed towards? Come on man, you are a smart man. |
EzeUche:Let me deal with your replies in several fronts. You are saying YES to my question, you do realise that makes you come across as a racist or someone who have some sort of inferiority complex going on? Learn to see beyond colour and lets just deal with matters for what they are. The issue here is that he is a police officer, he is trained in what he is doing, and as such required to put those training to practice during the time he is employed as a police officer. Again, for the god-knows-how-many-times-now VIP are treated like royalties. For examples, there have been reports that when wealthy and influential Saudi Business men come to london do some business of some kind, their host provide them with prostitute etc. And these host can be a big company. My point is that, in the world of business, those considered VIP will be pampered and treated like royalties. This photo here is probably no exception. The background appears to be a building site of some kind etc. |
mikeansy:Some VIP provide their own private and personal security. I was lucky once to have Simon Cowell (X-factor creator) come over to my work place there wasn't any visible police, however he had what appear to be his own personal security staff with him. Abramovich do not need one as he most likely provide his own security. Mind you, if he reqested from the state for whatever reason, he may be given one if it is deemed so. Aliko will get the same treatment if he was about to be a major player with china. Police officers are trained to provide Man-Guarding and Personal guarding etc. Are you suggesting that because of bruised ego, they should not do something they are trained to do? ![]() |
EzeUche:Will you feel less nauseated if he was holding it for another black man? Yes or No please. ![]() |
Ileke-IdI:Police provide guarding duties for important figures all the time. For example, UK prime minster have a police in front of his house 24hrs. High value people are given police guard. My point is, he appears to be a VIP an as such provided with a police guard. The VIP do not need to employ him, but as part of his duty, he is expected to provide man-guarding services when needed. You do realise they train for event like this? ![]() |
mikeansy:No. He is a black man doing a job he is supposed to do - Protect, babysit and man guard a VIP. This immigrant may be a billion dollar business man with influence across the world. I am not sure I see your point here. By the way, it comes across like there is a complex of some kind going on with your statement. He is a policeman, and part of the duty expected of him is to follow orders. I really do not see the problem here. |
Ileke-IdI:VIP are treated like royalties. Heck, S019 (co19) who guards ambassadors in London will provide such service if necessary. Personally, I see no problem with it. Will you be happy he is out of a job and begging on the streets? He is guarding a VIP and doing exactly what he is supposed to do. Please tell me, will you have a problem with it if the china man is a black man instead? ![]() You will get the same treatment in china when you are considered a VIP. (You have ability to influence deal, sign big billion dollar deals etc) |

Where are the so biased muppets who claim to be speak out against injustice?
Yeah adapting but I'm also not so wrong for calling it weakness or preferably cowardice if one runs aways from certain things in this case commitment.
. How does super, alpha male personify a man who fears commitment. To me, it's one who can maintain his home and chicken out of it.
I have a feeling there is difference in both.
