Seun's approach gives the impression he is not bothered about quality. He appears happy with the way the forum is, so why fix it if it aint broke? Just take a look at all the sort of people modding the forum. With the exception of Debo, JayBee, Iice and a few others. Most that I have encountered have little or no clue. Also, most of them do not have real powers.

The point you are missing is that the forum owner - seun - is happy with the litter on his forum. This translate to traffic. Traffic=Revenue.  You see, he aint about to make some changes to lose his revenue.

If I am a mod - and before anyone come saying I am asking to be one. Actually, I have been asked but I aint interested - half of the stuff won't even be allowed. And some posters will be banned without further warning.

Anyway, thank God I aint one.

No, you are missing the point.

People want fun thread or something they can interact with. Not just something that bores the hell out of them. You haven't made a contribution that is worthy in your very own thread, and I think that is what people are trying to tell you.

Imagine if all the replies you get in most threads are "hmmmm" "hisssssss" " ". I am sure you won't be coming here to post.

If you wanna make a thread, by all means do so and at least keep it funny, thought provoking, sensible or something debatable etc. Not just threads that will die off quickly. Most of us are guilty of it, but when it becomes a regular thing with one particular poster, people take note of it.
