^^^ I want my vote back to be honest. ![]() |
Your body is merely doing what it is programmed to do. I.e. Respond in an inflammatory manner to irritants. I do not feel comfortable advising you on what drug to use, but consider plenty of rest and using glasses. |
Sigh. So who ever have a different view from you ain't making sense? Thank God, all post are held on record for all to see. ![]() Next time, I will engage in taking sides, that way it will be deemed more "meaningful". Oh wait, only that those "meaningful" approach of taking sides have not produced the desired result in how many centuries again? Perhaps my posts are "meaningful" after all. |
Cartoon depiction of a body building man? ![]() |
African_queen:Print this thread and send it to her? Email this thread to her? What ever it is you do, just make sure this thread gets to her. The message is loud and clear enough - Fix your life. |
And Bang! We get the typical classic lines from the religious one. ![]() I love you too darling. |
African_queen:More reason why I think she is dumb. Being in love do not remove one's common sense on certain issue in my opinion. Look, my words may be harsh, but she needs to get her life together again and fast. ![]() |
@Topic No because I am a male. I don't date guys. ![]() Faher:Generalisation yeah. However, someone once asked if "Nigerian graduates are truly graduates". Given the state of our educational system and the quality involve, it is safe to assume that majority of them are not real graduate on the grand scale of things. But dat one na topic for another day, another time. |
African_queen:No offence, but she is dumber than I previously thought. How the hell do you listen to someone on that kind of thing? If any woman in similar situation is reading, let this be a lesson. ![]() |
~Sissy~:Your opinion. ![]() If you are quick to side with religion, simply because science is achieving some previously-unattainable boundary, I think it is a bit of double standards to be in here talking about retro-viral drugs. Surely, prayer can help cure? Or using your logic, some sort of religion application should help cure AIDS, just like that. ![]() You see, that is my opinion too and a one I like. ![]() |
~Sissy~:It is in response to your post on "Scientist created life with synthetic materials" ![]() |
Yeah, this is politics. |
Huh? The photo is not real. Assuming it is real, there may have been slight modification to alter the images. It is a lifestyle and the jury is out as to whether it is healthy or not. If one is taking steroids in order to achieve this kind of result, then one can be prone to several medical conditions. Remedy to do this? You mean how to achieve this kind of look? Well, gym and cardio workout will be the way, alternatively, you can consider surgery and finally, try steroids and others similar drugs for quick result. |
toba:Our people have religion entwined into their cultures, daily lives and almost everything. It makes it an attracting offer to call them via their beliefs. ![]() Again, I am not sure science knows everything - most people who consider themselves knowledgeable in science will be the first to admit that. But then, trying to use God to explain everything is something that can defy logic at times. ![]() |
African_queen:Is she not doing anything with her life? I think in a relationship, both sides should contribute. As a man, I do not want liability - trust me on this. It will be nice for a woman to be able to do something too you know. I don't know the guy, but he probably feels she should be able to do a few things for herself. |
Okay. I think you may need to let her realise that, she can still survive without the guy, only that things will be hard, and that is what she is trying to avoid. In order for her to really move forward and be independent, she may have to do things the hard way. Why have somebody who do not give a shiit about you be there for you? It is emotional and psychological slavery. In my opinion, she needs to unshackle herself from it. But doing so will not be easy, she will bleed. ![]() The other alternate view is for her to be the patient woman, and hope she eats a big fat juicy bone later. Something I am not keen on. |
By the way, how does she feel about abortion? Is this something she have mentioned to you? ![]() |
African_queen:Cut up her tubes? ![]() Your story is contradicting. If she's is placed in a house/apartment by the guy - Surely, the guy paid for this place or provided that shelter in the first place? Instead of relying on him for everything, maybe she should try and find something to do with her life? Seeing that she is now pregnant again, she will have to learn the hard way, get her life back together and learn from it. |
You guys are just posting long story. I think he may be after one thing and one thing only. Booty call. ![]() |
~Sissy~:I am surprised you didn't say prayer is a cure. But instead, you said drugs - made by scientist just in case you forget. ![]() |
kosovo:How many people understand those valid points should probably be the question. In a serious debate, people will just laugh at him or with him, while actually missing the message I think. He is a clown. |
comforte:There is nothing wrong with you. Period times may vary at times depending on a few factors - Stress, emotion, Body biological clock etc. Some people have exact days, some people have a slightly range. You may need to start writing down the dates it happens and you will be surprised to discover your own pattern. Or at least know when to expect it start roughly. Please do not be alarmed, or even make attempts in calling people telling you it isnt normal. ![]() ObamaUS:People like you should be ashamed of yourself. You do not have to give advice if you know nothing about the subject at hand you know. From what she have posted, there is nothing to suggest something is wrong with her. She do see her period monthly, just not on the day she is expecting. How the heck you managed to translate that to a disorder and requiring a test? ![]() |
~Sissy~:See above. ![]() |
toba:Just listen to yourself. Before, the argument used to be "Oh if they are so good, let them create a single life form" now that have been achieved, and it appears the tune have changed to "let them create a man". Meh!Many things are possible, however ethics are on of the biggest hurdle that Scientist have to face. With stem cells, it is possible to use it in theory to build any organ, however their are people like you who weigh enormous influence and lobby the government in slowing us down. The difference between science and religion is that Science try to find a rationale behind and event using logic, proven facts, known theories and experiments etc. However religion just attributes everything to go without any proper explanation. For example, Babies comes from God, the liquid in coconut was put in their by God etc. When in fact, there are explanations for these things. By the way, instead of looking at it from a religion point of view, it may be worth looking at what this application mean for mankind. What it means for Microbiology/Medical Microbiology, medicine application etc. |
kosovo:He is you online mentor isnt? ![]() |
Afam:How is that remotely close to what I posted? By not standing for or against, I am refusing to engage in standing on one side like the rest of you guys. Meh, one do not have to argue in order to make a point. Like I have pointed out from the beginning. Clearly from what you trio have posted, you wanted an argument. Which is not what I am trying to do, but present an alternative view point. I mean, we have sided with one section or the other since the time record begin, and what have been the outcome? As for facts and common sense, I really think you should remember that One man's fact in this situation is another man's view point of nothing but lies, propaganda etc. ![]() I really wonder if you folks can even come out of your "side taking mentality" for once and just see what I am trying to present here. But going back the post from the three of you. It is like trying to describe the colours of the rainbow to someone blind from birth - It will be almost an impossible and highly improbably task. |
Yes, you read that right. Scientist finally managed the creation of artificial in laboratory conditions. My question now, is what will religious people say about this? Please do not tell me "God gave us this talent and now we are just merely implementing what God gave us". It will be a laughable line of defence to be honest. The paraphrase of the whole process is as follows, a copy of a "bacteria" genome was replicated with synthetic materials, with the addition of DNA water marks - materials that prevent copy or identify a copied gene - so as to differentiate it from the real gene. All of this was then taken and implanted into another "bacteria" cell. All the synthetic materials added into the "bacteria" cell then controls the cell-division of the host cell it was implanted into. This then lead to production of a new cell, but based on the synthetic materials. [This is my understanding] Ladies and Gentlemen, the cell in question have divided a billion times since the experiment. While there are obvious great application for this in health and what not, there may be potential for some dangers too. But as it stand, I am keen on hearing from people, especially, those who are fill this is wrong religiously, ethically etc. ![]() Story from take from http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/science/biology_evolution/article7132299.ece |

In fact, married woman should never do anything remotely interesting in their lives. Gosh, another mentality of "how Women must be submissive". I mean, should married men go to beer parlour? ![]() |
RSA:Erm okay. I think you will find that generalisation and wild assumptions ain't the way to go. |
