Last year my a friend of mine was butchered by cultists around newsite, very close to navy barracks, the culprits we're armed with Cutlasses and guns, 8 guys.

I came back from work on a cool Thursday afternoon, on getting home I decided to go to a nearby shop to get something to eat, as I left my compound, I saw 8 guys, dressed casually, on jerseys, shorts, jeans, football boots and palms, as if they were going to play football, but they we're armed with Cutlasses and gun, the street was deserted, I was already outside some yards outside my compound, it would by a cowardly act to run back into my compound and the guys were at my compound gate, I was shivering they could tell, I stood frozen looking at these guys, their Cutlasses was dripping blood, guy guys were trying to duck their guns, one of them say to me as they approach me, "guy relax we no come for you". I watched these guys walked towards the direction of the navy barrack, they got to a junction they discarded their Cutlasses in a pool of muddy water and separated in pairs going different directions.

The victim was rushed to Nigerian navy reference hospital ojo.
He was almost rejected but after seeing the helpless condition of his crying and bloodied sister they started treating him. He had multiple cuts on his face, just his face, his left eye was cut out, his 2hands broken, gunshot wound on his back, 2 deep cut at the back of his head, his skull was visible.

7 doctors were acting on him by the hospital gate, cos it was a gory scene, blood was dripping all over, the doctors didn't believe he will survive, he was given 4 pants of blood that evening. He was kept in ICU for 2months.
