It amuses me when these crying cannibals cry about the disasters of this country, they always fail to mention the January 1966 coup and the role Aguiyi Ironsi and their lots played to put Nigeria in dire straits that we never recovered.
Don't mind them. They are always partially blind. They are the angels. Every other person is a devil.

tell me the reason why we should vote him?
1. He's been consistent in the fight for democracy in Nigeria. He's faced down military despots like Abacha and Abdulsalam.

2. He has been in the forefront of the fight against corruption. His online media organization has published incriminating facts about almost all known politician in Nigeria without bias or partiality.

3. He has single handedly built from scratch a thriving and successful international online media organization.

4. He is honest and has integrity. He could have been very rich from bribes etc which he has consistently rejected, exposing them all the more.

5. It is very obvious that he loves Nigeria. Any other person in his shoes would just sit in NewYork and be running his Sahara Reporters from there, yet he's in Nigeria worrying the consciences of our useless leaders.

6. He has a Masters degree in Public Administration from an Ivy league university, Colombia University in the US. That makes him even more qualified than the others.

7. He has never held any public office in Nigeria. This makes him a fresh start for us.

8. He is young and dynamic.

9. The only other available people for presidency have been or are currently part of the rot.

10. He is Yoruba and he makes Igbos who support corruption very angry. That's why they abuse him at every turn and that's why he's good for Nigeria.

Do me a favor, go on YouTube and find the video where Sowore publicly embarrassed a sitting minister of Nigeria at a function in NewYork because she came late for her own function.

The day I saw that video in 2013 my respect for the guy increase in multiple folds.

Now, why don't you want to vote for him?

I think Nnanna was right in his Sophisticated Morons thing ...you have proved it

So Chinese in Nigeria means that Nigeria is more advanced than China ?
Arindin.

How many Chinese have you seen in Nigeria? For every Chinese in Nigeria there's like a hundred thousand Igbos in Yoruba land.

How many Chinese do you know of that's claiming Lagos is a no man's land?

How many Chinese do you know that's claiming to be an indigene of Lagos?

Go and get some sense.

Lol. It's only the "developers" that are wailing.

Yet they will come here and tell you how they are the most successful ethnic group in Africa. Nay, in the whole wide world.

I just can't laugh abeg.

NB:

They blame everybody for their misfortune. From Lord Lugard, through Awolowo to Buhari.

Like someone said up there, Nigeria was once the toast of great nations.

Most people don't know that there was a time in the 70s when the Nigerian currency had more value than the dollar.
RomanceRe: Guys, What Physical Features Can't You Stand In Women? by ElsonMorali: 5:34am On Jun 13, 2018
I could never voluntarily fall in love with a fat woman, a hairy wan with hair on her chest and legs (I'm hairy enough as it is, I don't wanna give birth to a gorilla, thank you).

I also don't like wen with double chins. Makes them look weird.

Ladies with even a tiniest hint of bleaching or toning on their skin irritate me no end.

I'd sooner marry a plain-faced Jane than marry a bleaching beauty. That's why these days I have more respect for dark skinned beauties.

Pay no attention to the yeye guy.

He doesn't realize that the action of his tin God Emeka Ojukwu was punishable by death since he was what is commonly referred to as a deserter in military parlance.

You have spoken well. If I may... the sitting president toppled a democratically elected president in 1983 and he may not have had requisite qualifications for standing for an election. The electorates knew all these and still elected him. And here we are all lamenting about the state of the economy.
I am not against the electorates making their choices, but most often elections are won and lost based on how the mood of the electorates sway and not necessarily because of the candidates sterling qualities or otherwise.
If declaring June 12 will heal the wounds of Nigerian electorates by all means we already accepted.
But please let’s all learn our history.
While President Buhari may have done good by this June 12 declaration despite the political angle I am still strongly of the opinion that he's shown himself to be an ineffective leader.

I have just two major reasons why I won't vote for him.

His complacency in the killings by Fulani herdsmen and the fact that almost 4years after being sworn in as president corruption seems to have become our national pledge.

They have a list of corrupt people, yet they've refused to prosecute them. That's the height of ineffectiveness.

thank you for this, I know the lies won't help, I've disappointed the family several times, don't how they would take this
Go home and tell them the truth. Best all the punishments meted out to you patiently because you deserve them and much more.

Show remorse. Let them see that you are truly sorry.

You are 22. It's good that you are still redeemable. All if not lost. You can still go back to school even at 25 and start over again.

If you aren't academically brilliant, don't force it.

Learn some good trade like furniture making, carpentry work, metal work, mechanic etc.

Whatever you decide to do make sure you become very serious and dedicated this time around. This may be your last chance.

But the first step is to go home and confess and apologize profusely to your parents and siblings for disappointing them.

We can debate maturely, without some snickering remarks.
Now to what you wrote above. Abiola was well known to sponsor the military boys to topple governments. In fact Babangida and Abacha were known allies of MKO.
Karmahuh? I leave that to you.
Well known by whom? Surely not the majority of the electorates who voted for him in 1993 or they knew and simply didn't care.

What I'm saying is, the June 12 saga is even bigger than the person of MKO Abiola.

What hope is there for a country where the majority have to yield to the whims and impulses of one person either acting unilaterally or acting in conjunction with a few others.

June 12 has always been an open sore for the Nigerian nation. Note that site can close up and heal.

No matter the political reasons for doing this, it is the right thing to do.

Femi Falana said something recently. There's a deliberate attempt to rewrite history by some people due to partisan politics. Things like it's a Yoruba thing, it's for 2019, he was not a saint etc. History may have been tampered with in our schools and these malicious people may twist stories today to confuse the Y2K generation but there's YouTube. Let them go watch the Oputa Panel, watch interviews of his family, watch interviews of MKO himself.

MKO sacrificed his wealth and family just to SERVE NIGERIA and one Senator tells us that because he is dead, he's no longer a Nigerianhuh May he not incur the wrath of our armed forces who put their lives on the line to defend the country. That's an example of the dangerous and silly game some are trying to play with the event. Such dangerous statements that can send the wrong signals to paramilitary guys that is Nigeria worth dying for since their citizenship can be doubted after death?

The 2019 elections is another one. OBJ had the opportunity and he was from the same state with MKO but his inactions silenced this - so those who try to divide us along partisan lines can see that even your brother may not be your bro. Like they say, truth has no hiding place no matter how long we hide it.

I am happy to see the conduct of the Abiola family in recent interviews. You still see them talking about national unity despite losing two members of their family for Nigeria's sake. Times like this is when I wish TELL could upload their archives!
The painful thing is that most of these people were not even conceived in their mothers' womb during the time period. But they will tell you how evil MKO Abiola was and how he did this and did that.

Sorry but you are not making much sense here. This June 12 thing is not about MKO.

It's about the stolen mandate of the people.

Whether MKO was a saint or not the fact remains that majority of Nigerians cast their votes for him and he was denied that mandate given to him by the people.

This is not an Abiola struggle, this is a Nigerian struggle.

Most of you were not born during this era so you will never understand the hope that particular election signified for Nigerians at that point in time.

If you are not mischievous, you will remember that no Igbo leader gave a shit about the so called quit notice. It was even the Northern leaders that were struggling to reach out to Igbo leaders in a desperate face saving effort. You may as well send a link that suggests the contrary. By the way, the subject matter that sparked the whole imbroglio was repeated recently, why didn't they issue another notice if the first achieved their objectives.
Asking all the wrong questions. The real question is why didn't the Igbos vacate aboki land?
