It is a big deal because Atiku used to be El Rufai's benefactor until things fell apart between the duo.Atiku brought him to limelight by making him head the Bureau of Privitisation during OBJ's presidency.When El Rufai made some damning remarks about senators then as head of the BPE it was still Atiku he ran to,who then had a very robust relationship with lawmakers in the two chambers.

The guy is simply a snake at least he ought to accord his benefactor some level of respect,he said worse things about Muhammadu Buhari in the past when the latter was still contesting and losing.Same thing he did with El Zaky before the last elections because he wanted votes from the Shites and after getting on the seat went ahead to deal the them a deadly blow.

I am not for whether he stooped to conquer or not after all, all politicians re the two sides of a coin bt there should still be some honor/respect when u talk about a benefactor.
