Politics › Re: "The Coup That Dare Not Speak Its Name" - Farooq A. Kperogi by ElSudani: 1:11pm On Nov 01, 2025
Mrexcell:
Tinibu's govt is only deceiving itself their moves and actions they have taken so far clearly shows there was actually a coup attempt and that they are lieing like little kids.
A country with diverse groups and interests is not governed exactly like your village clan.
If you think you know half of what is going on in the government of any country not just Nigeria then I have a bridge to sell for you on river Niger.
Not every information is meant for public consumption.
Politics › Re: "The Coup That Dare Not Speak Its Name" - Farooq A. Kperogi by ElSudani: 12:50pm On Nov 01, 2025
Mrexcell:
Tinibu is just scared of the consequences of calling it a coup he won't have wasted a second calling it a coup if the coup plotters were to be from the south east.
There are actually more at stake that your narrow ethnic aggradanizement.
A coup signify instability which in turn drive investments away and make it difficult for the country to move forward.
It is not always about you.

Kperogi put it succinctly, a coup against Tinubu will start something far bigger than June 12 1993. With the Ipobs waiting for any opportunity to jump the ship, it is not too far fetched to say the plotters will have no country to govern.
Politics › Re: Christian Genocide: Trump Declares Nigeria Country Of Particular Interest by ElSudani: 9:24pm On Oct 31, 2025
If you have resources like Iraq, Libya, Iran, Venezuela, Nigeria and weak national cohesion then you are of special interest to America.
Destabilizing Nigeria under any guise will cause unintended consequences.

Folks can be funny. Food is now cheap and they are not celebrating it. It is Ebi npawa and tales of hunger in the land they know how to trumpet!
"Ebi n pa wa" is more in tune with their hope and vision for Nigeria.
How can a sane person be unhappy because food prices are coming down.

Now that he is no longer a prince perhaps he will be more open to spilling the beans on his fellow powerful pedophiles
Politics › Re: Tribalism: Do We Really Hate Ourselves? by ElSudani:
There you go again. Gbawe was mainly about politics and he came probably a whole decade after some vile characters like Chino, lady Osisi and some others.
These folks were the creators of tribalism on Nairaland.
By the time you came the cat was already out of the bag.

Politics › Re: After The Bokku Ad! I Asked Chat GPT Why Do They Envy And Hate Igbo ? Response by ElSudani: 7:51am On Oct 31, 2025
favour32:
If not Igbo, Fulani would have colonized Nigeria fully.

I need IBB quote on Yoruba.
Ibos and Fulani were the first to rule independent Nigeria. Azikiwe rejected perhaps out out spite for Awo to be a ceremonial president rather than the prime minister with real powers .
What could have informed that decision?
I bet Zik didn't do that to stop the Fulani from colonizing Nigeria. Rather, he made himself a useful tool.
Politics › Re: Drama As Reuben Abati Cautions Rufai On Live Program Over Comments On Tinubu by ElSudani: 6:54am On Oct 31, 2025
ShoeMarket:
That guy Rufai wants to see a nation that is working. His heart is really bleeding for the kind of mess we have found ourselves in. Unfortunately, there is nothing he can do about it especially when in the midst of Nigerians who love their lives more than anything and so not ready to fight the fight.
And the person he believes can bring this change is Obi. The same Obi he asked about three times on TV what he intended to do differently from Tinubu and he couldn't answer.
He only gave a vague answer about doing things "systematically"
Rufai is just a hack masquerading as a journalist.
Politics › Re: The Failed Coup Was Only A Sign.. by ElSudani: 6:49am On Oct 31, 2025
gidgiddy:
Coup or no coup, the obvious fact is that APC is a disaster, and Tinubu is a failure

I have no doubt that Northern officers will plot more coups against Tinubu in the future, and this time, they will be very careful about leakage........
If they succeed, you will most certainly get your Biafra, I think this is your real motivation.
As for the SW, we are done with military rule.
Business › Re: Coleman Wires Launches Africa's Largest Fibre Optic Factory In Nigeria by ElSudani: 6:36am On Oct 31, 2025
WebKraft:
God has blessed Ogun state with so many investors and the proximity to Lagos is a very crucial advantage.

I just hope the state governor and FG can invest enough in road construction to drive in more investment cos the regular Abeokuta and Ijebu politics isn't helping the state develop.

Most investors going to Ogun state prefer outskirts like Agbara, Ota, Igbesa etc, those are the places they need to pump more money in order to drive in more investments and get more taxes.
A new steel company is also due to launch in the middle of 2026 yet in Ogun state. Ogun is set to soar economically.

You disappointed me highly when you became abusive after your string of questions 👎🏿. Anyways, WS like everyone else needs money. The jeep he drove in his younger days while at Ife cost money. The isolated bush house he built and lives in when he is not at his beloved USA costs money to build and keep. Like Fela Ransome-Kuti whose best food is custard pie, he makes pretence to being loathsome to the world of the Caucasians! WS is a well-known wine connoisseur. His taste for expensive and choice red-wine and Cuban cigars all conveyed and kept in well-worn wooden cases are not unknown and that costs a fortune as well! My friend, WS needs money!
And for Cuban cigar and fine wine he would betray his own principles and cower before some foreign tyrants?
Is there anything in his past that made you think he might behave this way?
I apologize if you feel offended by my previous post. Not everyone would prostrate for a cow so that he may get some beef to eat.
Politics › Re: Lagos Is Yoruba United States — Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu by ElSudani: 4:01pm On Oct 30, 2025
festacman:
This is a grand plot spearheaded by non indigenous Lagos Yoruba for them to dominate indigenous Lagos Yoruba in their own state.

The only one moment a true Lagos indigene was elected the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, it was swiftly revised and even some indigenous traditional rulers who supported the move were sanctioned and later forgiven when they kowtowed once again in total submission.

Why is Badagry treated like an orphan in Lagos State? When will a true Lagos Indigene: an Awori, an Egun, an indigenous Egba or Ijebu become Lagos State Governor instead of people from other states? Funso William, Musuliu Obanikoro, Jimi Agbaje, etc. were all frustrated. Why should non indigenous Yoruba have access to both opportunities in their true State of Origin and Lagos while Lagos Indigenes eat crumbs in their own state. So many questions.

God never sleeps.
Otedola, Jakande, Ambode etc were from where?

That such a man — a teacher, thinker, and defender of justice — would have his U.S. visa revoked under Trump’s America is both symbolic and telling of the ideological tides that swept through Washington during that era.
the man cho cho cho too much
always weigh words before using it if you are wise
saying rubbish about the unforgiving trump who is not shepopotemi will always bring him troubles
"The Man Died" was written basically about what you wrote up there. Get a copy and read.

"The man dies in all who keep silent in the face of tyranny" - Wole Soyinka.

He needs the frequent 10k-20k dollars for speeches at big big skls and conferences in the US

Also he knows what will follow next is strong scrutiny of passport and himself by other western countries border officials.... Even if he isn't found wanting, the extended verification will continually cause delays...

Man is in tatters...this surely will b in his biography

Made by the west , doomed by the west
He needs the money for what? Did he chase money even when he was younger? Do you see him chasing luxury?
Some of you just talk as if you have no capacity to think at all.

Don't mind the hypocrite. People like him are the main problem of this politics section of Nairaland.
Politics › Re: Tribalism: Do We Really Hate Ourselves? by ElSudani:
All those mentioning politicians or APC etc are wrong. What we are seeing today started online and on Nairaland in particular a long time ago.

Politicians didn't start anything, it was started here on Nairaland by a small group of people and encouraged on by their fellow ethnic bigots.

The OP said all the right things but unfortunately there has been countless people with similar opinions long before this became an issue on Nairaland. But People like the OP were labeled " unity beggars"

I was here when it started, I can even give you a few monikers, we told them the repercussions but right now my attitude is I don't care.
Politics › Re: "Nnamdi Kanu Wanted A United Nigeria"- Sowore Announces Fresh Protest by ElSudani:
banom:
Las Las, Nnamdi kanu is a nice man who just wouldn't tolerate the evil being done to Biafrans in Nigeria. If Nigerian was working properly and for everyone, he wouldn't be agitating.

The man has a golden heart for the good of everyone in the society.
Agitation is good, what is not good is saying stuff like " a good Yoruba man is a dead one"
" You are a fool If you attend a Yoruba Church" etc and encouraging his followers to burn down Lagos.
I
will not mention Ikonso and others he sponsored to kill and maim.
Please explain to me how and if Yoruba were the people holding him hostage in Nigeria.

It is understandable because that was their last line of attack.
They are not happy because they can longer cry of hunger.
