I think it has to do with the processor. If you check you’ll notice no snapdragon flagship processor powered phone has more than 3500mah.

Huawei’s Kirin processor uses a different architecture and configuration to snapdragon.

TBH, they need to refresh their designs. All their phones are becoming too damn identical. Would really love to see something different.

Nokia has been adopting MTK lately.

I don't believe in snapdragon monopoly, that's not doing end users any good.

Monopoly isn't good for the customers in Anyway.

SD usage is becoming something of a Class symbol sef, So I doubt Xiaomi will use MTK that much anytime soon.
