Business › Re: Why I Think Being An Entrepreneur Is Over-hyped by Elxandre(m): 4:37pm On Sep 15, 2014
2sExy1: sorry to say.... you lack common sense. I know your idea of an entrepreneur is in the class of Bill Gates, Dangote et al but you fail to realise that these guys also started from scratch and therefore, it means that anyone who does not start big isn't an entrepreneur.

What is your definition of Entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship is the process of starting a business or other organization. The entrepreneur develops a business model, acquires the human and other required resources, and is fully responsible for its success or failure--Wikipedia

I don't waste time on folks like you... so where there are no jobs, people should still fold their hands and wait for manner to fall from heaven or you will feed them?

Rubbish!
Thanks for typing what I wanted to type.
An entrepreneur was once a hustler!

You even have no idea of what an entrepreneur is.
Alexander Amosu started his first business selling ringtones to a few students, just like the roadside boys we have in Nigeria(I'm sure your type would have labeled him a street hustler/hooligan) but today he's a legit entrepreneur.

This thread is meaningless friend.

If that dude knew you two had a serious relationship, and he still did that, that's really unfair.
Women can be easily convinced sha.

Romance › Re: GUYS ONLY!!! How Do You Maturely Wave A Woman Off by Elxandre(m): 3:11am On Sep 14, 2014
just tell her why you can't date her. A mature lady will understand.

Try explaining to her your commitment to your academic and career for now. You can just subtly slide this into a conversation with her. This way she will remain your friend, and of course, this leaves the door open to a future relationship.

It's nice to know considerate guys still exist though.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Scientific Facts: The Biblical Evidence by Elxandre(m): 2:27am On Sep 14, 2014
here to read the comments..
OP take note dinosaurs lived millions of years ago, according to carbon dating. linking them to the bible puts them to just 5000 years ago.

I don't think its necessary for religion to seek validation from science. Any attempt at that, will only lead to ironically highlighting the contradictions instead. #happysunday

windows phone handles memory really poorly.
opera mini opens over 10 tabs comfortably on 512 team android phones.
on Lumia 520, it can't even manage 5 tabs easily. undecided

yeah.. we should.

the funny thing is apps are gradually coming around now.
even silly opera who refused to develop for us have now come onboard.

talktimi: So yesterday my charger got fried for no apparent reason, used it with only phcn light at the office and brought it home only for me to find out the critter isn't working again. Why will Nokia do something so fragile ?
Maybe liquid got into it.
My kid cousin put my charger in his mess, I then made a mistake by cleaning it with Water. Not knowing the Water for into it, I plugged it in and it got fried instantly.

I then bought a beastly bb charger 1.8A output. Charges my phone in record time. cheesy

Why will any sensible person want to emulate psychopaths like Rihanna and snoop dog/lion?...
Oh.. So that's why Rihanna always looks pale and washed out huh..

You don't need to downgrade your device before upgrading to cyan!!!
The said bitlocker issue was apparently fixed about 2 weeks ago.
Just make sure you sign out of developer preview before attempting to search for update.

Maybe, you are a mistake, it doesn't mean everyone is.
Your profile is filled with so many senseless thread, rife with Whiteman worship. If you ask me, that makes you as an African, a waste to Africa.
If you believe Nigeria is a mistake, why not just join your white slave masters in Europe and leave us alone.

How can I even take someone who believes Justin Bieber is bigger than FIFA serious?

Artistree: I wasn't searching for any word cos I sure knew the difference between WORLDWIDE and NATIONWIDE. Corruption is not a monopoly so I knew the word before I typed it. Who no go no know...
Corruption exists everywhere, but not in the educational sector. You can't tell me a university professor at Harvard will intentionally deny students deserved grades indiscriminately. Of course he knows he is very much accountable for his misdeeds.

It's important to note that, UNILORIN is as formidable an institution in Africa, as Harvard is in the West.

Artistree: Uncle, it happens in Uniben too! I graduated from Accounting dept there and there was this course I kept getting an E each time I write it until a 1st class coursemate told me something strange. Penultimate year we sat for the course again HRM and got Es as usual but my coursemate who was convinced he couldn't have gotten an E, took it up officially. He wrote to the Dean thru the HOD challenging the grade. It later turned out dat the lecturer didn't mark ANY of the exam scripts, but simply awarded grades!!! I almost fainted. And to imagine that the lecturer was a young, energetic, pious fellow for whom I had so much respect. I didn't forgive him till I graduated. So pls stop being defensive about Uniben, the rot is worldwide.
The word you were looking for is ' Nationwide'

Have you downloaded developer preview initially?
If you have, follow the procedure I gave to the other guy previously.
Else,
Just search for update and start off downloading it.

obisite: How did u subscribe to it? Wil the 700mb be enough for the update?
Yes, it should be enough, if the update doesn't break off midway. That's why I recommend a strong network signal.
Phones › Re: Windows Mobile Naija Forum by Elxandre(m): 3:04pm On Sep 08, 2014
DJEhimond: The last update I did (8.1) was through the developer's preview. Although, I don't have the app anymore, but the last time I checked, an update was and still available. The question is: Is there a need to downgrade before installing the new update or can I just go ahead with the update?
You must de-register from the update before you can get cyan.
Download the preview developer app again, and make sure you untick the box that signifies your agreement to the developer preview scheme, else, you will only end up downloading another developer preview update again!

guyANDROID1: now I finally get someone that understand me, thanks brother....its the total download file that i need not the disk space.

btw, it took you how many hours for that?
Glo was slow as snail that day, in fact I was downloading at 20kb per second.
I spent almost 2 hours in total.
Phones › Re: Windows Mobile Naija Forum by Elxandre(m): 11:17am On Sep 08, 2014
guyANDROID1: pls, do you know the gigabyte in size of the total download update?

thanks
It shouldn't be more than 550mb in total. Just make sure you have a strong connection or else if it fails, you would have to restart the process, costing you more data. I ended up using up to 830mb due to bad network.

I spent just 400 naira purchasing 700mb glo coweek bis.
Then using my brother's Android as hotspot, I downloaded the update.

This update is a life saver. I now swipe through my keyboard seamlessly. I can even download and upload files with internet explorer. cheesy . For the first time, my phone feels like a smartphone. I can finally see the root folders. The sound seems to have improved too.

One thing I still miss, which annoys me, is the inability to lock 3g on my phone.
