Mamaflex: Hi! I jst found out dat nokia x2 is on sale. Compare to lumia 630, which would you advice? NB. nokia hv end their future production of android phone. So what effect would that have on nokia x2?

It depends on what you want.
I just checked and discovered that the x2 is cheaper than the 630. If that is your budget, well go for it o!

Let me give you a few strengths and weaknesses of both.

630 has gorilla glass screen 3, a better screen, its lighter, will be quite smoother in performance because its windows phone, has a more powerful processor and GPU, 8gb internal memory over the x2's 4gb memory, it can accept a 128gb memory card if you can afford one, a better battery life.

X2 has a front camera (a poor one though), is android, the x2 is dual sim. (if you want a dual sim 630, you could get its dual sim version the Lumia 635),

its difficult comparing windows phone to an android, because android has more apps, but on this one, since you are a woman/lady/girl I don't expect you fiddle unnecessarily with your device as much as boys do!

What I normally do is to share via connectify on my laptop or with another phone that has hotspot. Make sure the hotspot is secure.

the download limit I think is now =100mb.

I've been mostly using my brothers wireless tho, so I can't be sure!

jorges1: recording in WhatsApp makes noise too. I've soft reset and it didn't solve d problem. How is a hard reset done? I've NT tried calling with another network didn't wanna go cutting another sim.

try attaching a voice note to an SMS.
playback the voice note, how does it sound?
try recording through your earphone's mouthpiece too, is it clear?

And are you sure when you make phone calls, its really clear at the other side?


You can find hard reset in settings>about>hard reset.

Try this only if you have tried everything.
if you have the data, try backing up your phone before proceeding!

I think there's nothing wrong with your phone. Maybe you should try calling with another network!
When you try recording with whatsapp, is it noisy too?
If it is, try a soft reset. If soft reset doesn't work, I'm afraid you may have to hard reset your phone.

take note that the gionee e3 has a 720p display, while the 630 is 480p. That difference is not funny!

the 630 may have a better color reproduction, but it won't beat the gionee e3 in terms of pixel clarity!

If the problem persists, delete the app and reinstall again!

Mamaflex: yeah. Tnks i appreciate. The non-removable battery the 630 has is the problem i have with it because when u find urself in a situation whereby the phone hang, u'll be left with only one option which is to remove the battery and u can't do that with a non-removable battery. Daz my fear

That's one of the good aspects.

Its a nice device too.
Infact it's even better because it has 1gb ram, which will be sufficient to run every app.

Take note that only 1gb ram lumias can run any app without restrictions.
Other devices with 1gb ram include 920,925,1020,1520.

Your budget may not fit in though, cos they are a bit pricey!

For me,from my xperience wit lumia 630,d fone no get file manager,2 watch videos downloaded na problem til u don update xbox,no front camera 4 selfies,no flashlight,you'l b stuck with 1 theme except u change its color,few apps most are paid,etc...

There's file manager. (go to store and search for 'files')
You can watch any format of movie with moliplayer. (tell me, can any android apart from the beastly ones play any movie format without a third party app?)
Heck I'm even watching game of thrones ripped from a DVD on my Lumia 520!

Every organisation has its own rules and practices in the world which individuals have to comply to as stipulated by authority.

How can I castigate the rule of law of a certain institution when I am not forced to enrol in that very institution.
For every deal, dere is always terms and conditions that apply as a simple agreement to avoid problems and challenges and to uphold the rule of law.

Yes, you read the rules before becoming a student, but it doesn't mean you have to deny the simple fact that the rule makes no sense.
If an 18 year old child won't teach himself how to delay gratification, and still has to be forced, that child hasn't really grown.

The funny thing is students of schools like havard, MIT etc. all have busier schedules laden with real life experiments (e.g veryfing the speed of light) yet they still use mobile phones and are known as some of the most distinguished students on this planet.
