go read kog45 replies above on this and get the clarity

meanwhile he got a MOTM performance against Barcelona i think enroute the champions league chelsea won that year
So because a MOTM performance in just a match automatically makes him a legend?

Maybe we shld start calling AHMED MUSA A LEGEND too since he got d MOTM PERFORMANCE against Argentina at d last world cup for scoring two sweet goals

Who b those yeye ppu wey dey call Mikel legend? grin, seems some peeps need a dico here

If I hear legend, legend ko,star lager beer ni,do u think staying at a club for so long means u re automatically a legend?,maybe u shld tell me a match where Mikel single handedly won or rescued the team, wen d chips were down.

Mikel showed d signs of been a future legend during d U-20 world cup in 2005,but immediately mourinho changed his style of play and wc himself refused to improve except to give balance to his team wyle in play

Mikel had never done anything extraordinary to be termed a LEGEND, both country and club, quote me anywhere...he was only gud at playing to instructions

If u want to knw legend, mention players dt rescued d team when d chips were down, mention players like messi,c.ronaldo,Ronaldo,Zidane,Ronaldinho,Maldini,Lampard,J.terry and so on...these re legend dt rescued deir teams both clubs and countries when all seems impossible on d pitch of play

Hahahahahah! This guy think say na only rope be Elephant after touching it. grin

Give 5 blind men from birth their views after touching an Elephant. They will come back with different views.

What about if I tell you that Kayode caused a penalty his team mate later blew away in a match, and a classic assist that was supposed to be scored but played wide? grin

Don't forget there are some players finding it hard to touch the ball once this season yet they are on the list of invited players. grin
Ogbeni,let's knw,are u related to kayode?
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by elyte89: 12:54pm On Sep 30, 2017
What's all dis fuss abt kayode sef
Is it not d same kayode I watched against Delta Vigo when introduced at d 77th minute
His leg touched d ball twice b4 d match ended
And one of d scenario was wen he spoiled one counter attack move,dt ought to av resulted into a goal, infact one of his team mate yelled at him for wasting d ball
All dis happens though in a football match, but I dont c anything special abt dt kayode guy DT oda strikers in our team won't do.
I dont av to c his full match b4 I can access aw gud he's
He scored double fig in an Austrian league, let c aw many goals he wuld churn out in LA liga.

It was Hope Akpan to the best of my knowledge. Not Raheem Lawal that displaced Onazi to the right back role but I feel Raheem Lawal deserves a place in the squad.
All dis one u re mentioning all d midfielders dt has played for us since 2011 till date, only 5/6 would Go to world cup and 4 places has been secured already by Mikel, onazi, ndidi and etebo except if injury set in d names mentioned above.
So if una like mention/scout 60 midfielders, dere is only 2spaces left in d midfield department to jostle for
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by elyte89: 10:30am On Sep 29, 2017
I will still say I won't take an injury prone Joel obi to d world cup even if he's fully fit b4 d world cup, what if he plays very well in d first match and he gets out injured 3weeks during d tournament,DT scenario alone has a negative psyche on d team full of young players
Let's kuku go to d world cup wout him, same scenario played out against France wen onazi was injured by maltuidi,d midfield became flat and we lost at d end
Its better to go with an average players ready to pull efforts together and far in d tournament(Ghana 2010 team is a gud example), dan aving someone to depend on,dts so sure won't carry us far due to injury

Cos dt Joel obi guy, remove dt injury prone stuff,d guy is d best Midfielder I av ever seen in eagles set up since 2012,late keshi even attested to dt

Dedebanky85:
You're one of the few realists on this forum. I score the list a vey high 93%. I would remove Tammy cos he ain't playing for Naija. The mess caused may lead to some kinda animosity btw he and NFF handlers.
Also, I would not even put Joel Obi near that list, he may injure while the team is in the plane to Russia. Lol
No loki is going. So I'd confidently give his slot to Ebuehi...
Tammy's position would be btw Success and Kayode...
But overall, almost accurate list.
But to me,d Tammy Abraham issue will av a clearer picture after d game against Zambia, cos I bilieve every sane player wants to go to d world cup and Tammy knws dt he has a greater chance with Nigeria Now Dan England even in 8years time cos even if England qualifies now, dey would always pick an half fit harry Kane,J vardy, and Marcus rashford let alone of wen dis three guys re fully fit b4 dey consider Tammy

And who says again dt after 2018 world cup,d likes of harry Kane and Marcus rashford would still want to b at Qatar 2022,and b4 den,dey would av discovered another full blown British striker, making d scenario diff for Tammy to even go to Qatar 2022,and by dt time, age would av catch up with Tammy
So with dis few points of mine,I av been able to convince and not to confuse u dt if Nigeria qualify for d 2018 mundial, with d above realistically points I av started earlier,A Sane Tammy Abraham would find it difficult to turn down d opportunity of playing for Nigeria at d world cup now or never.

[quote author=Joebie post=60921717]Versatility is a plus. But Joel Obi's ratings cannot be ignored. What argument do you have for Ogu?

For ogu,if Joel obi is fit he might b dropped, but instead of picking an injury prone Joel obi to d world cup,if alhassan Ibrahim can proof d coaching crew beyond doubt, dey would prefer him to joel

Joebie:
Ogu or Etebo
Barring no injury to etebo,he would go to d world cup,no sane coach will leave an etebo for Joel obi,cos etebo is a multiplayer,he can play from d wings,as a 10,could also thrive as 8,play 4 also(if a double 4 is been used),heard he also played as a left back sef in his club sometimes back

then explain why and how below average players like IWOBI,IHEANACHO AND INDIDI according to u kept making the list of the best young footballers in the world.
Ogbeni forget dt one,na humans like u dey do ratings wc to me,it is not free of been faultless
D question is aw does it translate into d pitch of play
Where re dis guys playing at d moment Are dey 20top clubs?asyde iwobi, mostly on reserves
Can u compare d an iwobi with asensio?
An iheanacho with mbappe/dembele
B4 u start quoting me,if u re gud,u re gud

Y all dis fuss abt tammy Abraham, not dt he's coming down to win the world cup,we re d one helping his situation and not vice versa like most comments here portray
If he likes, let him go and play englamd, who cares, last last, dey would use him in one or two friendly/qualifier matches, and dts all

Cos d British guys I knw, will always prefer a full blown half fit British player to any averagely gud half black British wc Tammy belongs to
Dele Ali case is just diff, because he's exceptional at d moment and dey dont av a full British close to his talent, let alone of cin some1 better Dan dele Ali,if not
Once dey c a full british substitute as gud as Dele Ali in d same midfield role,he's international career would start to nose dive cos dey would always support deir own b4 Any player with dual nationality.

Right on point bro. Our boys have done us proud in Belgium, we have some of the best young players in the league.
Take it or leave it,jump over d roof, barring no last injury to d team dt won Cameroon 4-nill in Uyo,including IWOBI,JOEL(IF FIT),tammy abraham(if he commits himsef to nigeria),den Maybe Mother luck shines on him(SONE Aluko) will part of d 30 man list wc will b prune down to 23 man list going to world cup after slogging it out in d training camp
For d unemployed scout of NFF AND ROHR
99.9 percent of d guys u scout unofficially for rohr most esp those in scadevien leagues or lower leagues won't smell d normal 30-35man list release some months to world cup,let alone of bin in d final 23man squad.Rohr knows 95percent of his members going to world cup already barring no injuries to dem, odas will slug it out with d remaining 5percent,wc I support 100percent
We dont want a situation where by someone somewhere will b invited from no where and swindle us with a very good scintillating performance in a test game prior to world cup and get to d team thru back door and when d world cup proper begins, won't b able to hit d bar let alone of scoring in any match b4 getting ousted out of d competition.
REMEMBER D FAMOUS scissors KIck by BARTHOLOMEW OGBECHE against Paraguay friendly match in 2002,got to d world cup proper with dt single SCISSORS KICK,he was just running like an headless chicken,Shio, N.B..Ogbeche played for P.S.G den b4 d world cup in2002
So wen I c guys scouting unofficially for d team because a player scored hat trick in one slovanian, austrian,Czech or lower leagues or plays d midfield/defense well over dere,we clamour for his invite,I just laff grin
