I know it excite you to bring bad news about your own brother while u exalt foreigner just because Mikel refused to join MANU. This country is a course. Tell me one player that covered more distance in nigeria squad like Mikel. I work with statistics. Mikel covered 39.7 km in 4 games at the WC. No Nigerian player covered 38km appart from him. Tell me how can a sloww person cover more distance than your so called fast players. Let us promote our people, what did nig achieved in south africa when mikel did not play? Why did nigeria lost to USA when they removed mikel and onazi played.
Rubbish analysis, David luiz covered close to 15 km against Germany and still had the worst game of any defender at that level.

AutosRe: Pre-order: Why Do Dealers Prefer To Ship Via AES? To Make More Profit? by emalekuo(m): 7:06pm On Jul 10, 2014
I stand to be corrected its cheaper to clear a car on grimaldi than AES, the difference here is that grimaldi usually takes longer time to sail and there are no guarantees that your car would be on a particular vessel unlike eukor and AES that can give specific departure dates.
But also remember that your car is safer on grimaldi as their cars are hardly tampered with. The only benefit of the delay associated with grimaldi is an intact car.

Car TalkRe: New Policy On Importation Of Tokunbo Cars: Big News Page by emalekuo(m): 8:13am On Jan 10, 2014
solomon111: The manufacturing companies have already made commitment to come.
Nissan and toyota will begin manufacturing in Nigeria this year.
But then i can assure you that if we abandon this policy due to pessimism or the temporary discomfort we may encounter in the course of this policy,we will be losing much in the long run.
I won't be surprised if in the nearest future we start importing cars from kenya and morroco just like we are currently importing from southafrica.
close your mouth there. what happened to the refineries they promised after the discomfort?

tunde57: Why don't you Johnson of a man go and create your own thread instead of wanting to reap where you did not sow and stop wasting your time.

Femmy has built up his followership on this furum by hard work, truthfulness and honesty of which those that have patronized him have always been testifying to . So it is only fair that you let him reap the full reward of his efforts and kindly desist from trying to hijack and pirate fromthis thread.

If you feel you want to compete with him, open your own thread, and if you are as good as want people to believe, with hard work and truthfulness you will gather your own followers.

It is very disgusting the way you have behaved since you gate crashed into this buitifull thread and my only advise for you is to go and create your own thread, who knows? I might become one of your followers. Integrity is name of the game. Let us stop this hijacking and piracy and Nigeria will better for us all.

God Bless Femmy, God Bless Johnson, God Bless all Nairalanders and the followers of this thread and God Bless Nigeria

BusinessRe: OLX Nigeria: Only 40% Of Ads Are Legitimate? by emalekuo(m): 6:56pm On Nov 25, 2013
Mstr_sheikh: Hello Everyone,

This is my second time I will be posting a topic on Nairaland, This Second topic However is on Online business meeting and transaction between two parties through a popular Medium known as OLX.

In my Opinion OLX in Nigeria can never be effective, why?

Some People whose excuse are that the country is too tough have ventured big time into Swindling innocent fellow Nigerians of money and different items. This deceitful and wicked attitude among Nigerians has rendered the use of OLX useless.

My own personal experience was on getting a new gadget; after making calls two of the sellers I contacted said I must deposit a certain amount of Money for logistics and registration fee to get any business done. Where on Earth is that done??

Another Experience is from one of a friend who wanted to buy a car, The Colour of car he saw Online and in reality were totally different with the owner giving different execuses.

My advice for any one patronizing buyers online not just OLX, if its not the regular Jumia, Konga and the likes should be careful as some people have used this means as a Money making venture swindling ignorant people.

People are always connected to the growth of Technology, with Bad people easier means of transacting business will only render the best Technology flawed and for those perpertrators or Scammers the End is near.
Another noise maker. its simple, you see and inspect the car or other items before you pay and must everyone buy from olx? if you are scared you walk to a store and make your purchase.
AutosRe: Tariff On Imported Cars To Rise By 60% by emalekuo(m): 5:27pm On Nov 25, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: I heard the policy will go side by side with car loans. Moreover, some brand new Innoson vehicles are cheaper or atleast the same price range with imported Tokubo vehicles. We have to take certain difficult decisions to move this country forward.
stop making noise here, what do you know about this policy? why start with cars when there are other sectors that such policies could be implemented, how many functional plants for car assembly do we have? what transport alternatives are there for the masses? even electricity to run these plants is not even available, a country that can't manufacture tires is talking about cars.
BusinessRe: Nigerian Bank With The Best Domiciliary Account System? by emalekuo(m): 3:19pm On Nov 25, 2013
arbitrage: Almost all banks that offer internet banking platform for domiciliary accounts are doing that. They usually require you to log onto your internet banking and you fill in the necessary details of the sender and recipient. Then the bank will do the transfer based on your request. Apart from going into banking halls to do that, most of them are allowing placing such transfer request via internet banking. I know very well of GTBank, Union and Access because I have used them all without visiting the banks. Note that the transfer usually takes like 48 hours or more to get the recipient abroad credited.

If you are doing the internet banking transfer, it will be from your dom account. So your dom account is in foreign currencies (dollars, pounds or euro). The option of doing transfer from Nigeria Naira account is not usually available via remote internet banking but visiting the banking hall. More so, the banks are discouraging that as they want you to source for dollars on your own rather than taking your Naira and selling you their dollars. They will rather ask you to obtain their Naira visa or mastercard to spend abroad. You can inisist that you are not traveling abroad to get naira there in dollars and so they will give you CBN Form A. The form is usually meant for when you are importing goods or services from abroad, or paying school fees and when traveling and needs BTA/PTA or such like. They are to collect your Naira (probably from your Naira account) to give you the foreign equivalent at their stipulated rate and charges. These days, they will not want to give you the foreign cash for BTA/PTA but will rather pay it into their own visa or mastercard for you to spend abroad. I case of school fees or paying merchants abroad for goods and services, they will take your Naira and you will fill CBN Form A if you insist on paying from your Naira account but that will be in the bank.

As I said before, GTBank will even give you choice to pay your transfer charges on dom account from either your dom or from Naira account but others will usually charge from the same dom account they are helping you to transfer from. In terms of charges/fees, GTBank is higher than most of them. For example, whn I transferred $9500 through GTBank, the charges usually total around $135-$143 while $9500 through Union came to around $120 - $125. But the last $10,000 I sent through Access was just charged at total of $97.5 after their charges are listed out.

If Ecobank is cheaper as someone said, that will be nice. In fact, I have transferred just $50 through GTB before and the following charges totalled $50. So, the mentioning of $60 earlier by someone is still on the lower side or may be he did not transfer much funds.
it usually cost me about $95 to transfer $9500 through UBA and they seem to be the cheapest and it takes less than 24 hrs from when the transfer is done, so just tell them to scan it immediately cos all transfer slip are scanned to. their head quaters for processing, the last I did was $2700 and was charged $60 but. the maximum single transfer adviced which is $9500 is still under $100 in transfer fee. open a DOM. account with $100 and fund the account with the dollar you intend sending and also the charges. note minimum balance is the $100.
