This is the major point, all of those involved will be in the APC as presently constituted.I make bold to say that after may 29 all this talk of probe will simply die a sudden death.

Can you state the law that has suddenly deprived him of his right to privacy? He doesn't lose his right to privacy simply because you say so.
If you look at my post again, you would note I did not claim that buhari has lost his privacy entirely , what I claimed was that there are limits to what he can call private.

Agreed but note the following:
From the moment buhari was declared winner of the 2015 presidential elections , he lost what remaining rights he had to his privacy short of that that is required for family interaction, and that required for interaction with friends aNd assocIates.
Buhari is no longer the property of the apc he is the property of all nigerians
Buhari's needs and welfare (accomodation, security, feeding etc)are now provided for by the state
Any foreign individual/entity who comes to visit buhari at this time and going forward is performing a diplomatic /state funtion and no privacy is required(to a limit).
If must let or prevent the media from covering certain events you must do so and BE SEEN TO HAVE DONE SO IN A FREE FAIR AND EVEN MANNER, for such are the demands of our democracy.

you will surely realize how senseless it sounds.
Supreamly sensless and mor0nic.Saying that ......"AIT has no right to turn up at "Buharis house" to coveR his activities ........ (the absurdity of that statement) some people we had a lot of respect for in this country just open their now putrid vocal cavity to any convinient radius and spew baby logic.
I'd like to remind every one that we live in a country of laws and. Until its proven BY A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION THAT THE FACTS BROADCASTED BY THE AIT PRIOR TO AND DURING THE ELECTIONS WERE FALSE, THERE IS NOTHING THE NBC , buhari or any one of you sniveling hypocrites can do to or about AIT(now or post may 29) .

THe thing tire me.People supporting a clear contitutional violation and giving the tounge in cheek reason saying the "PRESIDENT-ELECT", currently being housed at the 'DEFENCE HOUSE' can direct his protocol and security aids ( all provided and paid for by tax payers funds mind you ) to bar a media organisation from public affairs involving him not to mention, in this particular case a "PUBLIC MEETING" with a diplomatic representative of another country because he needs his privacy.

If the current government or agents of the government were after him or any ordinary nigerian for the matter he would have been long dead from the moment he began to tell his story and to be honest a goverment that wanted to off you will do it far more easily abroad than here in nigeria:
He is a low profile individual, hire a hitman for 10,000 -15,000 dollars tell them to make it look like a robbry gone bad. Doable.
Nigerians have really bad memories which is why any tom di(k and harry can spin fiction , relate events that took place only in their demented imaginations and are immediatly branded heroes.

That is what this thread is all about exposing the falsehood of the claim. It would be a monumental shame for a country of 150 million people of varying intellect to just accept that outlandish claim, witout chaking to see that it is true.
What is more embarassing is that the president-elect has capped this national folishness by identifying with the so called traveller before a serious attempt has been made to verify his claims in a supposed era of change.

Just like Oshiomole did :winning on the platform of the labour party and immediatly defecting to the apc after the swearing in.

That I am pained is the most hilarious aspect of your tantrums!
Pained for what?

The average driving time from Owerri to Onitsha is about 60mins.
On the average speed of 100km/hr

If someone claims to have covered that distance in 30 mins, I can ask questions on how he did. It has nothing to do with jealousy!
I have a few good ideas about getting forensic proof but I can't discuss them "online". Can we talk privately?

Well, I expected this kind of reasoning and that is one of the reasons why Africa is backwards!
Google is your friend, do a little research on average speed of walking.

The guy claimed he walked 10km/hr!
I have reasons to doubt him!
I am not envious, neither I am bitter according to you!

OP's criticism is valid, if you make a bogus claim to make name in a civilized society, volunteers will bust your ass and you'll be dismissed as a fraud. Civilized minds frown at fraudulent schemes. If indeed the guy truly completed that journey on foot, then it should be recalled and given an honor. Let me explain why it is important that an investigation is done: if he sets a false record that Lagos to Abuja can be made on foot within one week, then he will be misleading so many people including researchers and historians. I remember when I was growing up and I was told my dad used to travel on bicycle to three states apart and back in 2 weeks, these are records and statistics I would love to investigate and appreciate especially for teaching sports and physical education.
@OP nice critique
Bitterness, anger, laughter, etc all belong to the emotional department!
I am not in anyway here emotional!
Challeging his claim does not make a hater (like someone put) it.
It is simply to put the records staight!
Ok, nobody cares if his claims are right or wrong?
That means we shall remain in darkness!
Were this to be somewhere else, that guy should be interview by experts by now!
This is Africa where emotions rule over logic!
And this is my verdict, until we start to make use of critical and quality logic, change will remain a mirage.
This post is a test of how ready we are for change, and I can tel you this, we are not!
Cheers to all.

Welcome to the “New Nigeria” any attempt to investigate his outlandish claim will be labeled as political by the “Change Agents” and their supporters who certainly know more truth than you could ever know.
OP, your analysis is spot on, I couldn’t fault any of it, but none of the “change agents” will consider the strength of your argument , they would rather deafen you with their accusations of being after the clowning liar. Names like “hater” “ bitter fellow” “butt hurt” will follow , anything and everything necessary to divert the thrust of the discussion will be deployed.
We are about to begin the days of the ridiculous being presented and defended as fact a massive undertaking of revisionism : of our history, recent and long past is underway by the end of this next four years and God forbid more , the story will be told that Nigeria under the PDP and more specifically Goodluck Jonathan , was a wasteland until the APC/Buhari stepped in with the change agents.
From our infrastructures power, water resources, roads, communication etcetera, etcetera. We will be regaled with tales of “how bad” or “nonexistent” everything was until the superheroes came along and declared “let there be light” and light was.
There are a number of ways of proving the validity or otherwise(a far more likely prospect) of his claim

That's the new line you get when the north wants to renegotiate the terms of partnership and shearing agreement.I still wonder if tinubu and co were under the influence when the bought into the belief that they can keep any northerner under their thumb. The north is telling them now that they did not deliver as promised and that if they(north) had not done their own homework, buhari would have remained a presidential aspirant.
Wait until buhari gets sworn in , it will be Yaraduas kitchen cabinet all over again. Osinbajo go do siddon look for presidency, the ministers will sit during the Federal Executive Council but any decision of importance would have been made the night prior by the kitchen cabinet that is entirely north.

Nigeria would have gone past all this shit we are facing today if not for this illiterate's busy body. What if after he wins the election someone in the army comes and overthrow him, claiming he is corrupt and blah blah blah. What happens then? Would anyone in the country have the moral stand to condemn such act since he did the same himself? That's why people like us believe he is not fit for purpose.

papaejima1:
Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima has yesterday said that 90 per cent of the ongoing battle to reclaim seized territories under the Boko Haram terrorists is being carried out by the Nigerian armed forces and not by the foreign troops as “wrongly” perceived by the media.

Shettima insisted that soldiers of Chad, Cameroon and Niger Republics cannot claim undue credits for the current successes being recorded over Boko Haram because the Nigerian forces are playing larger role in the exercise.

“We appreciate their efforts and support for the government of Nigeria, but it should be known that the bulk of the job of cleansing our society of these Boko Haram lunatics is being done by officers and men of the Nigerian armed forces -for-liberation-of-seized-towns-
The guy just got a brain wave that it was most definitely not in his best interest politically,to continue to be on record as the number one individual disparaging and denying the efforts of the Nigerian military in light of the current events in Borno state .

EUROBOMBER:
The main reason why I will vote for GEJ is to make a statement. 2015 is about making a point in this country and we must drive that point home even if the gates of hell are opened. The message we must drive into some thick skulls is that Nigeria belongs to all of us. No tribe is born-to-rule while others are born to siddon dey look.

There must be fairness, equity and justice in this country. Power MUST go round if we are truly one Nigeria. Why must a particular group of people continue to terrorize the rest of the nation when they are not in power?

When OBJ, a southerner was in power, they declared Sharia law and caused a series of very violent riots in the north which led to the death of many southerners and northern Christian.

As soon as Jonathan, another Southerner took over government, boko haram which was previously a rag tag group suddenly transforms into a mighty fighting force, blasting churches to pieces, killing innocent Nigerians and recently seizing towns and abducting our women.

The question is why is it that we cannot have peace when the people from Futa Jalon are not in power?

Buhari will NEVER rule Nigeria again. let me say this loud and clear, the best for Buhari is that he will end up as president of arewastan and maybe Odua republic but Buhari will NEVER rule Nigeria again.
