Omojayejaye: thanks oga futurewise and others....not that I really want to sideline uni-assist with my application It is just that I don't have a good university transcript....so...so weak grades which might count against me using uni-assist.am supposed to go for postG but because of the situation of things with my grades that's the main reason am opting for underG to start afresh....I only have waec and ND...and for private schools 650/month,dat go do something for blocked account...I was made to believe that west and south syd have alot to offer coz that's where peeps are studying..pls..you said admission is flexible and most schools are not under uni-assist in d north and east.......how life for north and east syd...smiles!! coz I heard terrible stories...

The last question u asked, people took their time to answer u and u couldn't even say "Thanks". U just ignored them. That's why I don't share my 2 spoons to everyone! Goodluck getting an answer

If any document is missing, Uni-assist will not forward it. All the requirements are listed on their website for different countries. Even if your Cv is missing, they will not process ur documents. That is how seriously they take the screening.

U have ND and to have had that, am sure u got into a University or Polytechnic and also have ur WAEC. U can get an admission to a University for Bsc with ur ND result/transcript and ur Waec.
Don't rely on Uni-assist alone, apply to schools that accept direct application as well. As long as it's Bsc u are applying for, u get chance.

Hello house, I applied to Heilbronn University since July and I waited to hear from them but I didn't. I had sent them mails about my application, and this afternoon I got an email from them that I had been admitted and my admission letter had been sent to my address since August.
I had to check my spam mail and I discovered they had already sent me a message since and indicated they sent my Admission letter to my home address, but I no see any letter o.
I'm just wondering why they didn't send me the Admission letter to my email and decided to send it to my home address directly and I no even see any letter till now. I just hope they can defer the admission for me till summer cos I like the school and the course I applied for as well. Make una dey check una spam mail often o!

U can obtain German language cert. In Goethe Ins. City Hall around catholic mission street nt that far from Tbs Lagos(A1 B1 etc)..U need to attend classes n sit for d exam.bur if u reside outside Lagos u can attend any sprachshule(language sch) and enrol the exam @Goethe ....U need to make be fast cos the next A1 exam is December 9.they re currently writing A1 now(14th n 15th)..

Toefl is just a test of English exam, it is not a test of smartness. Most schools also don't even require it, u being a Nigerian. Undergraduate studies require A-level or at least year one transcript, plus German language certificate (in most cases). I don't know how the private University system works in Germany, if u have the money enough to pay, u could contact them and discuss ur situation with them. No harm in trying... Others could give their suggestions too.

Calm down bro, I don't see anything wrong or criminal about ur request. Many people in Germany already and even some of those waiting for their visas, borrowed money too. It is not easy to get that much money.

Where u got it wrong was when u started raining insults and replying other harsh comments. This is a public forum and people must get on ur nerves. Your reaction may discourage someone from helping u, cos I already see u as a trouble maker at least from ur use of words and so may others.

I don't know if u are hoping to apply for the on-going winter semester. If u are, I'd suggest u defer ur admission to Summer so u can have enough time to source for the money.
I'd also suggest u break the money down and look for at least 3 people that can borrow u 200k each instead of looking for the whole 600k from one person.
You could also talk to anyone u are close to in ur bank, preferably the manager. The bank knows what they'll take from u as collateral even as a traveller. Some boys borrow money from banks to buy flight ticket and the bank knows how to track them somehow.

With 1.3million u are a big boy na, it is not easy! If u carry that money enter Malaysia or S.A, dem go they worship u sef. May God see u through...

Why don't u apply to a public school that is tuition free or are u scared that public Universities in Germany too might go on strike?

If the school u are applying to requires Toefl, then u have to present it. Even letter from ministry of culture and tourism can't do anything

I'm not sure u can apply for Msc with HND certificate. U require Bsc, except u want to aplly for Bsc... Not sure though

Most schools don't require Ielts or Toefl from Nigerians, but it's better u check the school's requirement on their webisite. U can search for schools on www.daad.de or www.mastersportal.eu

Hehehehe... This is funny o! I applied to University of Flensburg since June and they rejected me. Today they posted my rejection letter to my house, I just dey laugh. The schools wey accept me no send me letter o! Na d one wey reject me dey send me letter like say na fight. The way they wrote the REJECTION as if am a threat to the University... D tin tire me o

Oh now I understand the problem is not that u want to apply with a 2nd class lower but both ur transcript and statement of result are contradictory. I had a problem with my transcript too by calculation I was supposed to have 3.47 which I even saw myself from my school's Exams and record but after I received my transcript, I saw 3.40 and my scores were under-calculated even though they were both 2/2.
I applied to University of Bonn and I told them later they replied me and said they noticed it cos they don't follow the final scores written. They actually look at where the calculation method is written on the transcript and do their own calculation from 1st to last semester before they weigh it with the German grading system. With that, they are likely to notice any erros.
I don't know how ur transcript was outlined but mine indicated i.e: 4.50-5.00 (first class), 3.50-4.49(second class upper), 2.50-3.45 (second class lower)...etc... So it's easier for them to understand and calculate in their own way.

I don't know if ur school is allowed to give out trancripts to students and if going to complain would be of benefit but u may want to try contacting ur school. If that won't work, then I'd suggest u apply like that and indicate a letter or email stating the error. Most schools do their own calculations and they will even notice the contradictions. They will for sure contact ur school for verification.

Oh I didn't know it was impossible to get admission in Germany with a Second class lower when even big schools in Uk accept it. My friend who's studying Economics at University of Marburg got admitted with a 3.44 CGPA (2/2) and u have 4.22

Bwave: You make it sound as if the course does not matter, I'd rather do the English test for a course I prefer than settle for anything, it's not just about going to Germany.

Well, that's ur opinion. Mine is different. I didn't tell him to do it, I just stated what I'd do if it were me and no one said anything about desperation to enter Germany! If one does proper research, one could see that the same course that requires Ielts and Toelf in one Uni may not require it in another Uni. Also people have gone for related courses simply because the course they were applying to required GMAT and they just couldn't start to write Gmat. Tope once stated also that he took International business not because he truly wanted it but most courses are restricted and he applied for a related course to enhance his admission chances.
The focal point is getting admitted to the University even if it is not ur desired course and when u get there u can make a better plan. Than sticking to just one course area and be praying till u get picked cos one may have Ielts, Gmat, Toefl etc and still be rejected in 15 Universities.
If travelling to Germany is also not part of ur excitement, why don't u apply to University of Ibadan or Uniport?

I don't know if u are applying for Bsc or Msc but most Universities don't require Toefl or IElts from Nigerians and some would tell u to present a confirmation that ur Bsc was taught fully in English and ur English is good. Just very few of them do. Instead of me to spend about 50k writing toefl or ielts, I'll look for a Uni that does not require it or simply change my course till I get there. Then I'd probably use the money to run applications or save it for my insurance

Well said. Some don't even try to read through at least 3 pages before they ask, to see if their questions have been answered. What is more depressing is when they ask questions on behalf of their brothers or sisters that are also matured graduates. I know the kind of research I did on different sites before I came across this thread and I had to read through. Just watch someone will soon come here to ask "I want to study in Germany, what do I need?" Or "I need a list of schools in Germany to apply for Summer"... Oh dear lord!

People shouldn't be after getting admission alone because to me that is the simplest thing but always think of meeting visa requirement cos a school will never instruct embassy to issue you visa.

Even when you get here another screening level is when going to extend your visa.
