naijaobi: bia emeka i knw talk to u o..U na my guy na ![]() |
bamyet: Thank you very much for all your information, to nairobi which he is a doubting thomas, I went from London Stanstead to Dusseldolf weeze in germany, I came back by road with one of my friend's car. We passed through brussels in belgium, holland and check out at immigration point in calais, france, we put his car inside train through the service of eurotunnel.com. Even if Uk is not good, I cant still take the risk to leave cos I ca study with gov loan which i will pay at my ease and plus if i want , i can apply for uk pali with a thousand pounds. I hope with this nairobi you know will know that I am not lying and I have nothing to gain in lying. Thank you very much all others that reply, i will keep you updated.Sorry o... But u sef too like talk |
naijaobi: the way u are defending dat guy, u sure u no be d same personn...hmmWhy do u want to be troublesome bro? U need to chill |
bamyet: When I said I hold permanent resident permit, it means indefinite stay to live In UK, I only need advice for my sister and not for me, I dont want to be rude, please stop pissing me off, advice if you can or just let go.Try www.daad.de or mastersportal.eu I think the question about using ND has been answered somewhere on the thread. Just read back a little |
naijaobi: oga stop spamming the thread..must u post the same thing over and over again? He didn't say he wanted to study in Germany. He said studying in the Uk is expensive for international students and he needs info for his sister. I don't see anything wrong in his post. He was curious to get a reply... Calm down |
topeajis: Man U correct but that wat u read brother theory is diff from practical to be a grad assistance u must have a very good interaction with ur lecturers but remember their are student that did their bsc in same school and same prog don't u think they will have upper hand than u.. Personally I can't even disturb ma self doin the grad assistance cos u will hardly see a new student doin it.. And the language self na die.. Godson pls come in here am I correctTope u know people would never understand when u tell them u got a job to sweep and clean. They think it is that easy but when they get there and see what others do to keep up with cost, they will appreciate anything. The point is, as a first timer in Germany, one could get a menial job but the longer u stay, the more connected and informed u get and u could get a better job with time. Don't go aiming for a suit and tie job when u can't even pronounce "Danke". However, it is also good to have a skill and be good at it. Some people make money braiding hair and some in the field of entertainment. I know a Nigerian lady who was studying in Germany and she was a talented singer. She got into a band with some Germans and they went for shows together. Her visa type was later converted and she made some money from entertainment. Just have a good skill, be creative and be good at it. Being in Germany alone sef gives u an edge to access other countries, as u may decide to relocate after ur Msc and search for greener pastures else where. That is also why they made the "Blocked account" so u can manage ur money and sustain urself. U can't just jump off the plane and jump into a graduate assistant job when people with better experience and longer stay never get am. Also beware of people "Nigerians" u run package with as they are known for backstabbing themselves |
olanshi: A strong testimony was given today by one of our nairaland member, he got a German Student visa without having any sponsor.. The only sponsor he told the Consular he has is Jesus! Believe me, he was given a Visa without any further questioning...The message would have been better passed without a fake story. In the process of preaching, u told a lie and that is a also a sin. We all know God is able but we need proof of ur testimony |
aflynvir: i have booked by faith o! I know it is a risk, but I have faith to take the risk. I have paid already! My brother I like ur faith o.. Infact u have inspired me. Whether me sef will book interview date with the embassy before I apply for admission. U will get ur visa in Jesus name |
Godson201333: I am sorry to tell you that you have been denied the Visa..They just want you to come to the embassy to pick up your documents and also they will tell you that your visa application was rejected because they doubt your intention of studying in Germany.Maybe he forgot to carry his stove and pot of soup after the interview |
Bwave: But he never said he was going for a student visa.Although he made his case to look quite complicated let's just give him the benefit of doubt and see the outcome.Keep the house updated ke? When did nairaland become Amusement park? |
odinakaprince: Congarts bro so happy for u, hw is d mail lyk cos de hv sent mi a mail to come to d embassy wit my passport nd print of d mail only. Hope is nt a bad one? This clown has come again! Well, I think the German president wants to meet with u to discuss about the war in Syria. U don't need to be afraid. Afterall u said they all wanted to be ur friend the day u went there...and u know that old lady could be single. Goodluck |

Jst knw u hv to bliv in urslf nd wrk out tins uslf. Cnt wait for a reply nw nw.Am sure the German President just can't wait to welcome u as well |
odinakaprince: Nooooo am gona work wit an english speaking company so noting ws said abt german language.Someone should kick this guy out of this forum. I wonder what class of visa u ever dreamt of applying for: Family reunion, Student visa or Work visa... Am officialy sick of ur ignorant and childish posts. I bet u will still come back to ask for documents needed to apply for Assylum |
lade007: Good morning house.....@ Emeka55 pls I read that you sent a message to the embassy and they replied you,pls which email address did you use?pls you can post it here cos I've tried to mail them without any response....I will really appreciate your reply...God blessI went to the German embassy website (Abuja/Lagos) and I filled the CONTACT form and sent it to them. The form can be found under "Contact" there's a space where one can enter his email address so they can reply u through it. I told them my situation and how I wasn't able to get an appointment date before October. They replied me to my email ASAP and this was their reply: Sir, Madam, Could you let me know your complete name, your passport number, the planned date of your departure and could you send me a copy of your admissiom Letter as well? |
odinakaprince: Plsbro hw did ur bro apply for d course? Plz hw do I get ur contact plz I need it.This Odinaka Prince has become a case of confusion on this thread. First, ur dad was a German citizen and u don't know the class of visa or doucment u need, Now u want to apply for a course, Later u are asking for checklist for family reunion visa. Pls don't make Germans think all Nigerians are like u |
odinakaprince: @dehonourable #please dnt miss undastnd mi what I mean it that this my first time I don't even know hw to get this documents and what and what the will ask mi on the interview based on the class of my visa. Please just help and tell me all I need to know about having a german visa please. ThanksAre u sure u are telling the truth? Ur dad is a German citizen and he doesn't know the class of visa to file for u? Am not sure u even know the documents required for a visa and why would u book an appointment without even having documents? If u want someone to tell u about german visas, u don't have to make up a story. Just go to the embassy with ur pot of soup and one paint of garri and tell the V.O u need a visa, they are so kind. U can also apply for German visa lottery since ur dad is a citizen |
franklysco: Has the embassy replied the mail you sent themOh am really sorry bro for not getting bck to u. Yeah! I got an email from them, they told me to send my Full names, passport number and copy of my admission letter. They actually were going to book an appointment for me. I changed my mind though cos am in Dubai now and for family reasons, I defered to Summer. German embassy is the best |
topeajis: That very true they are very rude and they believe they own the world but some of them are very nice especially the ones that have travelled much some will tell u they don't like their follow Germans and some will say they don't like Africans so the best for u is to first observed them before gettin close to them I have 24 German student in ma class and one walked to me and said Tope I don't just like u cos I hate Nigerians. And I told him I don't have a personal observation about you cos I don't even knw u. He was surprised. But some of them are very nice and made ma stay here a nice one.. But Germans youths are very rude..but that should nt be a negative energy on u they are nt your professor naNice response u gave that German guy. Berliners are known for their rudeness anyway, even germans themselves say it. It is better in the west though and many of them don't necessarily make face-face racial comments but they just show it by the way they stare and not being friendly. Berliners have a reputation for being rude even to White people and expats in general. Many of them have much hate also for the british/irish tourists. Germans are not really open and not too friendly but their rudeness is a general thing to everyone not only blacks. And they stare too much. An american guy once told me he hates Germany cos when one goes to a restaurant to eat, it takes forever to get served and germans don't mind waiting |
Bwave: When did you go to Germany? This ur question funny me.... Loool |
topeajis: Are u sure u nt the same person asking questions and same person replying the questions. The first user name was opened 4th aug and second 5th aug. and u said ur school is gottiingen and u want to fly to hannova.. I new on nairaland why is it now and u just came to give out the good news which is ur first comment... Am sorry if I insulted u mrs but I suspect somethingLol..... Me sef wonder o! |
Angel Diamond: HAPPY HOLIDAY TO YOU ALL IN NIGERIA.vielen danke |
topeajis: Abeg teach urs dis language also na.Bitte du musst deutsch sprechen |
Dehonourable: Helo frnd, I want apply to sm unis unda uni-assist. Shld I download d uni-assit applicatn form, print it out & fill it wit pen. Pls, I need more knowledge on dis frm frnds who applied unda uni-assit. TanxU don't have to fill it with pen. Go to the Uni-assist website and follow the instructions. Choose the school and course u are applying to and fill the form online. After filling the form, u attach ur required documents and then submit online. U need to print out the form also, (which is already filled) and send with your certified documents to Uni-assist my mail (Dhl, fedex, Ems, 'Nipost'-u are ony your own) and then make your payment |
Yeah bro, I have mailed them and waiting for their response. Am positive about it. Thanks a lot topeajis: Emaka have u mailed the embassy about ur appointment after u mail them they will tell u to scan ur int passport admission letter and ur intended date of travel.. Try it ... |
Most times it is not about your CGPA but the courses u took in your Bsc and how relevant they are to your desired masters course. Most Economics related masters degree courses require basic economics business administration at your Bsc level. Be sure you have the right courses that apply to your choice of masters and the grades on your transcript depict a fair knowledge. For example, u want to study Economic policy for masters and ur Bsc has courses like: Micro-economics- D Marketing- C French- A Psychology- A Econometrics- C Priniciples of Economics- D Sociology- A CGPA- 3.62 There are not much economics related courses to grant one and admission to Economics (masters) That could be a reason to be rejected even though the CGPA is good enough. However, most Universities always state reasons for their rejection and some select candidiates based on countries of origin. Maybe u should apply to non restricted courses with more available sits and apply to more Universities to increase your chances. Uni-assist is your best bet. Check www.daad.de ... I hope this helps Toluth: Hello all, I really need you guys to help me here cos I'm getting frustrated and unhappy and I believe you guys can help me out. I have a cgpa of 3.80 out of 5, yet. I was denied admission by the two schls applied to for a masters degree in Economics. The two schls are university of mannheim and Ruhr university of Bochum.( I applied directly to both) |
Thanks but am hopeful SimplyD: I would think that anybody applying now would be denied. However, you have nothing to lose, the sooner the better! |
Thanks bro, I'll try to send them an email like Tope said and I'll keep checking in the mean time. Waiting till next semster means I'd have to defer my admission and that one no go easy Godson201333: You might have to wait till next semester unless ya able to book your appointment now... |
Thanks a lot. nkenyy: Keep checking, don't loose hope, you might see a space. Goodluck. |
