todhost: The fact and reality is that server security is the responsibility of clients everywhere. Firewall and server security is a private issue for most web hosts but for the website owners, it should be their responsibility to use strong passwords, secure their local computers, protect the email attached to their websites and secure their client area passwords. Just to mention a few.
We will do a full blog on this issue, may be next week.

Kevin Kaija, a producer of "Seeds of Gold" programme aired on NTV and Ann Nakawombe (photo below), a presenter at the same station, have been sacked after photos of them having sex in the studio leaked.

Nairaland General › Re: Ten Things You Need To Do Before You Attain The Age Of 30-35years by Emeka71(m): 9:52pm On Aug 16, 2016 |
Anuoluwapo23: 1.Begin to put money in the bank and learn to leave it there i.e Learn to save dont spent all your money on clothes,Make up,Material thing that wont follow you to Heaven...Work Hard so you will reap.
2.Date the right person i.e Dont date a guy for dating sake, dont date him coz he his rich, dont date him coz he his Handsome, but date for a Purpose Always put God first Else You may end up regretting.
3.Get your own place stop having room-mates...This Doesn't implies that having roommates wont make u live responsible but when u live ur life alone nd stop living on people you will see that you will start to have plans for yourself, And even if you want to have a roommate Live with somebody that has a future not somebody that will always advice you to party every time,Not somebody that gives you wrong advice,Not somebody dat has never open his/her MOUTH one that you should pray,Not roommate that can advice you to carry your book nd read Etc (You should understand what i mean now...Live a responsible life it is profitable)
4.Get out of Debt (This most of us, we youths of nowadays we get into debt because we want to show off, show people we are better living a life that is not comfortable simply because we want to be Among but truly brothers nd sister debt is not owing but debt is when you live a life that is not yours)
5 Get that body you always dream of and maintain it.
6. Surround Yourself with people that will take u a step ahead...(Have you ever wondered if you are moving forward or not? if you are moving with the right people? if ur friends have affected your life positively in one or two ways? if not check ur self well check the kind of people you mingle with if u r the type that mingle with People that dont read, that dont pray, dat dont have future..when i mean dont have future i mean people dat dont plan there some people who dont even think of anything in there life than to just party party...seriously u should think of it Move with people that will affect you life positively....if u need example u can ask me)
7.Start to accumulate a fortune and wealth..(This is very important in everybody's life there is an adage that says if u fail to plan u plan to fail anything you do in,life plan plan plan well )
8.Learn to dress well not sexy.
9.Accept that you are an adult and start living as one(Hmmmmm this is also important to those that have reached age of 20-35 and you are still behaving like kids thinking its until you reach 50yrs before u have sense NO even from 18yrs you should already have plans for yourself Know what you want from what you dont want dont let friend influence affect you...Live your life to please yourself and not to please people..this people will back off when you have a single Problem )THINK!!!!!!!!!!!
10. Let go of the past and look forward to the future... Thanks for reading this piece...Leave a comment if you think Have tried And if you think You Have been blessed with this piece ND ALSO stay tunED FOR MORE ..THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU

naijainfogalery: The 2016 AYEEN screening was scheduled for Monday and Tuesday August 2016. The event witnessed thousands of Nigerian Youths from the south western region of Nigeria in attendance. People came all the way from Ogun, Oyo and other neighboring south western states.
For those that don’t know what AYEEN 2016 is all about; AYEEN stands for Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Empowerment Nigeria it was conceived to effectively affect the business space and entrepreneurial minds of young Nigerians. The conception has led to the identification of viable business ideas, start-ups and existing businesses which have been generously aided with grants, business mentorship and coaching. In one sentence, they help SMEs and young entrepreneur with loans, grants, scholarships and mentoring.

The event witnessed a lot of glitches. Well we could pardon them because this is the maiden edition and there is room for improvement in the subsequent ones.
Prior to the screening, it was advertised that AYEEN 2016 registration will be free. Later a Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) J18 form was introduced to make the process easy, which didn’t go well with many Nigerian youths.
My Issue with the AYEEN 2016 program was the J18 form was not worth it, It could have been made available online to be downloaded and filled. The introduction of the J18 offline form made the process tedious and cumbersome. iF the form registration was online, It would have aided a smooth registration and screening process.
Here is the J18 Form

The screening that was schedule to end by 5pm didn’t end until almost 8pm.
Wishing those that registered and have been screened good luck and success.

NigerianScholar: Before you proceed. Pls know that i am not joking at all, I am being 100% honest.
So, when I was writing my waec. Civic examination, it was too easy. So,i decided to joke around a little bit. Since I was confident that I could not fail. I went to the answers to the question that said something like ' List 5 civic problems in nigeria '. I wrote 2 actual civic problems, I dont remember what i wrote. Then I wrote mouth odour then I wrote another problem. Below that I wrote " 'pricing' of goods In the market" and I wrote another problem
I made sure I crossed out the points on mouth odour and pricing like this But it was still very obvious. Thats how I wanted it to be I just pitied d person dat will mark the script I know marking is very stressful and I wanted him/her to smile a little and cheer up.
It was Time to check my result. I passed very well. 2a's 5b's 1c. I saw d7 in front of civic education. I wanted to collapse. I was like wtf, someone cannot play with you people again. I wasnt pained. I dont understand how i can fail a subject as useless and easy as civic
And dont tell me I didnt answer it well. My worst case scenario was meant to be a b3. I know what i wrote
My fellow nairalanders, Pls tell me... was i wrong for what i did??
N:B- This is not fiction..Its a real life experience with small salt and pepper Cc @ lalalisticlala ishilove nd co You are a fool for joking in your examination; what to do is finish answering the questions and then joke; as a matter of fact examiners are not moved by those things. |
