Christianity Etc“God Used Virgin Mary To Restore Back My Sight” Lady Testify (pics) by Emelcee(op): 8:58pm On Jun 26, 2018
A lady by name Charitas Etim has thanked God for extending his healing hands upon her, the Akwa Ibomite took to her Facebook page to share the story how she almost lost one of her eye and how God used Virgin Mary to bring back her sight.

Here is what she wrote;
Happy seeing again!!!
When problems and tribulations flows in your life like endless river, just remember!!! “That He that’s in you, is greater than he that’s in the world”.
I cried and he listened, I prayed and he answered, I danced and he saw, I preached and he blessed me.
On the 19th of May, 2018 around 7pm just preparing to go to bed I felt a sharp sand in my eye which I tried to forcefully opened my eye as a strong woman as I am but to no avail.
Immediately, I googled how to get rid of sand from eye which I was directed to blow and blink my eye which I did but no way. The next thing was water rushing from my eye like endless river.
So, I went to Niger Optical center, after the long weekend. Several test was conducted but nothing was seen. My case was complicated, so I was asked to wait and meet with the white Doctor.
When I got in to meet him,he asked the Nurse to run another test on me. I went back to him, he asked if I was crying, I started complaining how the sand was cracking my eye ball, “young lady, can I remove your eye and give you to check that there’s nothing in there?” he screamed.
I was mute. He recommended some drugs for me and ask me to come for checkup after two days, which I went back, but guest whathuh (saying slowly) my card was no where to be found.
I don’t want to go into details, I just want you to know that there is God, and what he can do. The eye drug drops I was given almost blinded my eye and the drugs weren’t subsiding the pains.
One faithful Thursday, I walked into one of the Redeemed parishes close to me, I never regretted going there. The topic was “Victory Through The Blood Of Jesus”. When the pastor was preaching, He said ” God has given you victory over sicknesses “.
My dear, I keyed into it and prayed seriously when I returned, I was able to open my eye a little. My Creator, My Potter visited me in my dream, using a Rev Sister to healed me. She poured anointing oil in my eye, praying seriously for me.
When I woke up, I knew it was over. Why He (God) uses Rev Sister to healed me is what I don’t understand, But what I can recalled is that I went to Catholic church to pray. I cried to both Virgin Mary and his Son, Jesus Christ. I asked her (Virgin Mary) several questions like, when his son died, how she felt, that, that’s how my mother will feel, that she should help me talk to her son to heal me.
You might think I was mad, you may be right. Blindness is the worst sickness which I can’t wish my worst enemy. I was down and had sleepless nights.
Indeed, There’s God!!! If there’s any one to pray, there’s God to answer. My thanks goes to God firstly, For healing me of such glitch. I also thank Adauk for encouraging and supporting me. For when it happened, I couldn’t tell my parents and uncle’s at first.
Thank You Lord.

PoliticsDino Melaye’s Arrest: God Forbid That The Law Should Rest In Peace by Emelcee(op): 7:46pm On Apr 25, 2018
Barr Okpo Ewa (Watchout Naija)

Help me understand this please.
I suppose it was sometime in February 2018 that the Nigeria Police Force, Kogi State Command allegedly arrested six (6) suspected criminal elements namely;
Kabiru Seidu a.k.a Osama, Nuhu Salisu a.k.a Small, Aliyu Isa, Adams Suleiman, Emmanuel Audu and Musa Mohammed whom they claimed confessed of being sponsored by Senator Dino Melaye to promote insecurity in Kogi State.

Bizarre as it sounded it wasn’t totally unbelievable considering how desperate the said senator had hitherto proven himself to be. So they invited him for police interrogation and investigation which he blatantly refused to honour. Does he have a lawyer? Is the question that kept haunting me. Even more like, If he does, what does the learned wig counsel him? Does he listen?

Then sometime in March the same police announced that the six suspects had escaped!
Now, those of us who almost believed their allegation against Dino began suspecting a foul play. Could it truly be a set up by the state Governor and NPF to put Dino behind bars with unfounded allegations?

Still Senator Dino refused to honour police invitation and court summon to the extent that the police threatened to declared the senator wanted! Again, we ordinary Nigerians began to wonder if this is actually how they treat all their suspects, especially common Nigerians. Why would the police beg a senator to appear for questioning?
But ultimately why would a lawmaker not obey the law of the land no matter what his doubts are? If we all decide to disregard the law based on our doubts and sentiments does he think there would be a Nigeria for him to be a senator in the first place?

Then this April, Senator was finally arrested at the International airport Abuja on his way to Morocco and instead of simply complying with the officers of the security agency our dear senator resisted arrest! Instead of calling his lawyer he busied himself with tweets of his arrest.

As if all the drama wasn’t enough a whole senator of the federal republic of the giant of africa jumped out of a vehicle transporting him to court in Kogi State from Abuja! What brazen stupidity!
Another attempt to resist arrest and elope from
police custody. I do hope he’s taking note of the count charges so far.

Now, he’s hospitalized in custody manacles like a runaway slave in yesteryears British colony.
This is not as dramatic as it is. It doesn’t deserve the sentiments that some Nigerians are displaying in his favour . What is wrong is wrong! The law must take it’s full and due course. How many of us praising him would do what he did as ordinary Nigerians? Common police invitation a senator cannot honour? Even a court summons too? If he’s so innocent then why is he running, jumping, flying and dying pretentiously to avoid the police and courts?

I ask again, I hope Dino and company are taking not of the counts so far because if I were the attorney general I’d add attempted suicide! After all, a man that jumps out of a moving police vehicle transporting him from abuja to lokoja cannot reasonably think he’d possibly bounce on the tar and start walking.
What shall we tell the little ones now? As an adult I don’t even understand what’s happening here how much more our non ages?
God forbid that the law should Rest In Peace.

RomanceMust A Man Marry? The Legal And Ecclesiastical Synthesis by Emelcee(op): 9:45am On Apr 24, 2018
By Edikan Ekanem

Marriage is among the most precious gifts to us from our creator. Its blessings, joy and proceeds cannot be overemphasised. For this reason, “…a man will leave his father and his mother and he will stick to his wife, and they will become one flesh” -Genesis 2:24.

Without a doubt, many are blessed as a result of their marriages, seeing marriage a key to their prosperity, being lifted from grass to grace, making them become responsible, turning boys to men, girls to women and many more. Marriage is indeed a blessing from God.

However, beyond the euphoria of “he who finds a wife finds a good thing”, we must look beyond the surface, seeing beyond our noses, using our tongues to count our teeth, because the trauma accompanying disappointments in marriages is untold.

Sadly, as a result of the above disappointments and frustrations in marriages, the number of petitions for dissolution and dissolution of marriages in Nigerian courts on daily basis is alarming and even shocking to the devil. This is really unfortunate and pathetic.

Marriage nowadays has unfortunately been likened to a simple contract where parties can terminate at will either by agreement, frustration or in the present of eventuality. This sluggish erosion of the honour, splendour, respect and scared status of marriage is sickening, disheartening, barbaric and uncouth.

These unpleasant occurrences emanating from marriages in recent times have raised the curiosity of persons regarding the possible factors triggering these ugly experiences and stories in marriages. Diverse opinions arise in this regard.

From a forensic analysis made by a judiciary correspondent who witnesses these proceedings for divorce first-hand, many people are contending that most marriages fail because the parties were pressurised to enter into the union.

Others are of the opinion that most religions do not enlighten their members on it, even denying them positions in church because of their marital status invariably compelling them to enter into wedlock. African customs and tradition is also said to play a pivotal role in this regard.

From the above analysis, the paramount similarity existing among all the views held above is “involuntary entry into marriage”. Put it differently, these parties do not enter into marriage at their own volition thus becoming impossible or challenging for them to survive therein.

This makes people wonder whether marriage is a do or die affair. In other words, people are forced to ask whether there are laws making marriage compulsory for individuals. Is marriage the passport to God’s kingdom or entry ticket into heaven? Will people who do not marry in their entire lifetime be punished by God or government?

The concise attempt to elaborate on these issues has ipso facto become the crux and material particular of this work and same will be addressed seriatim. This work will equally elucidate on the fate of those who never want to marry for reasons best known to them.

Legally, there is no constitutional or statutory obligation on a person to marry. Choosing whether or not to marry is left for individuals and their consciences to decide. No preferential treatment is given to “married citizens” over the unmarried ones under the law.

The right to decide whether or not to marry is founded on section 37, 38, and 42 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 which provides for the right to freedom to private and family life, right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion and also right to freedom against discrimination respectively.

Worthy of note is that persistent and restless pressure on individual to get married is a clear breach, infringement and violation of his fundamental and constitutional rights described above under the aforementioned sections of the constitution. These breaches can make victims approach courts of competent jurisdiction to seek redress.

Also, from the extant provisions of the Marriage Act, Laws of the Federation 1990 (the law that regulates contracts of marriage), there is no mandatory requirement for a person to get married. Pointing specifically, section 7 states “whenever any person desire to marry, one of the parties to the intended marriage shall sign and give the registrar….”

From the above wordings, this law only gives directives on how to contract a valid statutory marriage at the volition and disposition of the parties. This is clearly deduced from these phrases “whenever” and “desire”. It literally means that if there is no time or desire of getting married by a person, this law will never be in force neither will it compel individuals to marry.

Tilting to the ecclesiastical jurisprudence, there is no curse or prohibition that follows perpetual bachelorhood or spinsterhood. It is really unfortunate that many “self-claimed and professed Christians” go about spreading the unfounded, baseless and porous hoax of “woe to a man in whom his father’s lineage terminates in his hand”. With due respect, this message is unscriptural and nowhere found in the bible.

Lest we forget, our Lord Jesus Christ said: “For there are eunuchs, who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs on account of the Kingdom of the heavens. Let the one who can make room for it make room for it.” -Matthew 19:12

In adherence to this bible portion, some persons have decided not to marry in order to render their scared service to God to the full. It started in the apostolic age till date. If we may ask, why then do people mount pressure on others to marry? Is there any scriptural justification? We really need a sound cogitation in this regard.

In a nutshell, in as much as we project the blessings of marriage to our fellow humans, we should know that “the length of our feet is being measured and it’s capable of measurement”. Let’s not allow recommendations and encouragements turn to a compelling order.

It is better to keep a good name as a single person than marring our reputation, robbing us of happiness, destroying already existing human relationships in the name of marriage.

As long as an individual can maintain his or her chastity, perpetual bachelorhood or spinsterhood is not and will never be a sin before God or an offence before the law.

Thank you.

Two things;
1. Learn how to code or
2. Post VERY quality contents.

1. This will help you discern any design and layout that is quite different from others. An analogy is going to one restaurant everyday, you get used to it and would want to try a different restaurant, that is how the human mind works, that is what user interface does, it is the view of your application and if it is different from convention, you stand a chance of standing out. This little thing matters a lot and if combined with quality posts is a bang.

2. You already know this. The "VERY" there means, if you are going to use the conventional design and blog layout, to stand out, you need to work harder and post quality contents.

But on the overall, it's a nice blog design and your concentration on Akwa-Ibom is smart but do not think of changing this if you grow eventually. Akwa-Ibom it is, Akwa-Ibom it must remain even at super growth.

PoliticsGovernor Emmanuel To Engage New Admin Consultants In Specialist Hospital (pics) by Emelcee(op): 9:44pm On Mar 13, 2018
A new specialist who understands hospital administration, hospital records system and hospital ICT systems will soon be engaged to manage the affairs of the Ibom Specialist Hospital in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Governor Udom Emmanuel disclosed this to journalists shortly after inspecting the new dialyses and other equipment at the modern quaternary health center.
He said the duty of administering a quaternary center required specialized training, lamenting that the former management’s capability was questionable, hence the downward fortune in the hospital under their watch

“We cannot put up this kind of facilities and give it to anybody to run. We want to bring people who are experts. These are people who are real Hospital Administrators. I don’t intend to go and bring a cardiologist and turn him to a Hospital administrator overnight

He maintained that he was undaunted by the blackmail peddled by the former consultants in a section of the media, as he was committed to doing the right thing at every point in time irrespective of propaganda.

Governor Emmanuel said he is expecting some consultants on the 19th and 20th of this month from United States of America, saying they are proven experts that have actually gone through the quaternary health delivery system overtime.

“They have the experience, they have the technology and they have what it takes they have the skills. We need to bring them in here and make sure this hospital is fully functional and I want to see that everything is on ground and then we are back to full steam”

The governor expressed happiness that the dialysis unit is functioning exceptionally well, and maintained his desire to see to the immediate functioning of the oncology section of the hospital to check the issues of cancer treatment.

He said he heard mixed stories about the new dialysis centre, but on his arrival, he saw a patient being treated and all the machines were in good working condition.

“Right now, we have 5 machines that are brand New, newly installed, newly commissioned that are working so well.”

“Oncology is something that I really really crave to start here because I know how much I spent every month on these facilities outside this country. The machine is not a problem. We’ve actually priced the machines. It’s the consultants now that we are actually trying to recruit.”

My soul mourns. My body trembles in utter trepidation. Situation report so weird but true. Our worst fears have manifested. Alas, here we are facing a nightmarish reality. A reality of copious bloodletting, brazen double standards and chronic cluelessness. This is it, the worst symptom of our self-inflicted insanity.

We thought we had seen it all when the agents of death were afraid and ashamed to show their faces. They used to hide in obscure corners and caves. They used to hide their faces while addressing us via propaganda videos on YouTube? Dear reader, compare and contrast yesterday with today. Have we ever had it so bad? This is now a country where people appear on television to brag about how they will continue fomenting trouble if a state government doesn’t revoke the anti cattle grazing law. They say, over their dead bodies will they stop destroying human lives, farms and properties. This is beyond a blip, it is fully blown anarchy!

Methinks Nigeria is ill courtesy of a condition known medically as boanthropy. Boanthropy is a psychological disorder which makes people have an erroneous belief that they are cows. They try to live their lives as cows.

Currently, terminologies like anti- grazing law, cattle colonies, herdsmen etc. have become popular in the polity. We live in a country where affordable housing for the citizens is a mirage, but we have a Federal Government which focuses on establishing colonies across the country for cows. Aren’t we a nation of inverted values?

Outspoken Lagos based lawyer blast critics again

If you want to incur the maximum wrath of a typical Nigerian, speak against his General Overseer or Daddy GO (spiritual leader) or his political leader. The way these religious leaders are venerated gives the impression that God has Nigerian pastors as deputies, who can command the day to turn to night.

Some people are incandescent with rage over my response to Pastor Adeboye's scandalous involvement in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the so-called international worship centre initiated by governor Udom Emmanuel.

The Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Mr. Ime Okon, stated that the project will cost N10 billion.

Some commentators felt that I should have insulated Daddy Adeboye from my "furious commentary". I couldn't have excused the role of the head of the Redeemed Christian Church. He is part of the shenanigans.

Those who are conversant with Akwa Ibom know that Adeboye is a regular guest of governor Udom Emmanuel. It is deceitful for some people to pretend that Adeboye's ill-motivated action was isolated. We need to know the interest of Adeboye in Akwa Ibom State?

CelebritiesAbasiodiong Eyo Inyang: Dethroned Teen Queen Apologises For Her Semi Nude Photos by Emelcee(op): 11:03am On Jan 17, 2018
AKWA Ibom State dethroned Miss Teen 2017/2018, Miss Abasiodiong Eyo Inyang has finally cleared the air on why she embarked on that image tarnishing mission, posting a semi-nude photoshoot on her birthday which caused an uproar on social media, leading to her dethronement by organizers of the pageant.

AN APOLOGY LETTER FROM MY SUBCONSCIOUS MIND.
..."In a dilemma such as which I see myself, one would be lost on who to chose between the Devil & Deep Blue Sea.
I CHOSE THE DEEP BLUE SEA".

I, Miss Abasiodiong Eyo Inyang who until my dethronement few days ago was MISS TEENS 2017/18 deeply apologies over my negative behaviour lately.
Few days ago I added another year to my age & I thought it wise to embark on a photoshoot, I decided to post my "Half Nude" pictures taken with the clearest of intentions.
Not knowing I would be misunderstood!

And so, I apologize to organisers of the "Miss Teens Pageant" whose crown I bore...
To teenagers across boards who are victims because of how they dress...
To Akwa Ibomites who I let down...
To parents, family, School & friends...
Please, from the deepest recesses of my heart, I plead for FORGIVENESS.

The past few days have been hell for me, so depressed & so hard on me regarding the fact i was a serving queen & shouldn't indulge on negative trends. It hurts & sincerely, I have never felt this way in my entire life, and I just cannot control it.

I never meant to bring disrespect to the world of Pagentry or modelling professions, my intention was not to belittled the crown or insult fellow queens. No... Far from it.

MY REGRETS:
1.) Not being asked WHY but being judged by ALL without an opportunity for fair hearing.

2.) Not being allowed to face a panel on my suitability to continue as a TEEN AMBASSADOR before being banished.

3.) Not being asked the motive behind my actions.

4.) Not given a chance/opportunity to atone & plead for forgiveness.

5.) Being chastised, condemned & treated as an infidel over a mistake i should have been corrected with kid gloves.

Notwithstanding, I am sorry for what I did yesterday, I am sorry for what I did today and what I'll do tomorrow.

I know I could apologize for days on end but it may not eliminate your thoughts on me but i take solace on God Almighty & on his grace I continually seek strength to endure the pain i currently face. Knowing my actions upset many tremendously,
Please I Am Deeply Sorry. My fault, I Am Human & Not A Saint Without Blame.

Dear Friends,
Help me if you will "Not to drown in this Deep Blue Sea". We Teens must grow, and Thrive, for a better tomorrow.
As a child raised from a Christian home, I seek for forgiveness from all who i must have offended, I am not entirely perfect so let me not be crucified over an ignorance i now regret.
It is my fervent supplications to God that my apology over this sad episode of my life be ACCEPTED by all who i offended by this ugly incidence.
Once again, I AM DEEPLY SORRY, PLEASE ACCEPT ME BACK AS I AM.
