Obascoetubi:lol, we should not be avoiding politics if we definitely want to contribute to the reformation exercise in progress. |
alsudaes1:Nothing good and profitable comes easy though. People that make it are those that can go off the box and be unique in their approaches. |
Today, I will be sharing with you ways of making money from politics. You can make money from politics this season especially as the elections are very near and political campaigns have commenced. Whether you are a business man, a politician, a party member, a social group, there are numerous avenues to make money in politics. 5 Ways To Make Money From Nigerian Politics Politicians in Nigeria spend billions of Naira in politicking and on campaigns. You benefit from this huge investment if you position yourself right. Contest In An Election: Candidates are elected in political offices. This is a risk as you may still lose the election even after spending huge sums on campaigns. You can only make money from two ways when you decide to pick an election form. Receiving settlement funds when you step down for a stronger opponent or winning the election. Create A Relevant Association: Many Nigerians make money by starting a social group that they grow into relevance. If your association has a large base of voting members in your locality, your chances of receiving mobilization or campaign fees is high. This is because politician find it easy to arrange campaigns to convince voters using social units than the general populace. Cost of campaign is usually cheaper and success can be tracked easily. Politicians sometimes finance certain projects of such organizations. Become A Party Member: Many card-carrying members of political parties make money from mobilization fees that they receive from politicians during campaign period since that is the time most parties tend to share money and mobilization fees. It costs little or nothing to be a member of a party as most parties are open to accept anybody. Even if you don't have money, as long as you can always be available and help in the managing of events, you can make money from commissions paid out for public exercises being carried out by the party to participating members. Business investor: There are also people who tend to make money from politics without actively participating in politics. What business investors basically do is invest money in a political party by supporting them financially during fund raising events. If the party ends up winning and becoming the government, the business investor would get contracts and or lower taxes and considerations on their business. A good example is Dangote who supported the PDP and the govt has helped his business by making laws that support the local cement industry. Contractors: Politicians at times require the services of independent contractors to help them do their work and activities more efficiently. It normally includes products and services such as bottled water, food catering, fashion accessories, banners, advertising, logistics and so on. If you can identify and offer them the products and services that they need, you would be able to make some good money too. Catfish Farming in Nigeria – Because of its unique taste and high nutritional value, catfish delicacies have become increasingly popular in Nigerian homes, restaurants and hotels. In recent times, the demand for it is a lot higher than catfish farmers can supply thereby making catfish farming in Nigeria a profitable investment to launch into. Catfish farming is a money spinning venture as you will start generating 100% return of investment. However, the catfish business requires knowledge, skill, together with time and effort to make it successful (knowledge + skill + time + effort = success). This is because if any of these values is neglected, it is easy to run into losses. The good news is that if you follow the simple catfish farming guidelines mentioned in this article, you will be guaranteed a stable and steady income throughout the year as it is not a seasonal business. Capital Catfish farming in Nigeria as a business can be started with as much amount of money as you have. In fact I recommend you start on a small scale and then grow with experience. As time goes by, you will become accustomed to tackling the risks involved in the business. Initial capital is needed for the construction of the pond, for acquiring land and buildings if it is not self owned, labour, licensing and equipment. Running costs includes cost of feeds, getting fingerlings, fuel/electricity. Construction of Ponds Depending on the capital available, you can construct any of these ponds; Earthen Pond: This is digging up the soil (usually clay) to create a pond. Concrete Pond: Here, blocks are used to construct the pond above the ground level, using cement, gravel and sand. Fibre Pond: These are fibre tanks (e.g. GP tanks). The advantage of this pond is that it can be moved from place to place. The following should be put into consideration when constructing your pond for your catfish business Availability of constant water supply – This can be achieved by digging a borehole or well. Rain water can also be channeled into tanks Depth of the pond – Depth affects the oxygen level. The ideal depth is 4 to 6feet. A minimum of three ponds should be constructed in the area. Each pond for different sizes of fishes. The pond should be close to steady power supply. Equipments Needed Pumping Machine and Pipes Water Testing Equipment Tanks Baskets and Buckets Seines and Nets Electricity Generator Set Pond Aerators Management Tips and Practices: Before starting the business, it is very important to draw out a good business plan. It should be comprehensive and detailed as the success of the business largely depends on it. As catfish takes 4 to 5 months to grow into table size, expenses to be made through out the period should be carefully laid out. Here are tips to help you successfully run your catfish farming In Nigeria : I will advise that a beginner starts with juvenile fishes instead of fingerlings. Apply lime to the ponds before you introduce the fishes. Lime will kill all possible bacteria and reduce the acidic content of the water that can affect the fish. Do not overcrowd the fishes. 1000 catfishes per acre is recommended. Though catfish can survive in a wide range of temperature, the ideal water temperature is 85°. The temperature affects the rate of feeding in catfish. They eat more in warm temperature. Overfeeding should be avoided as much as possible. Unconsumed feed will decompose and pollute the water thereby affecting the survival and growth of the fishes. Feed fishes regularly as they tend to feed on themselves when they are hungry. At least twice daily. Catfish feed should be bought from reputable dealers as only quality feed should be used. The pond should be kept clean at all times. Only clean and clear water should be used. Impurities reduce the oxygen level in the water. The water should be changed regularly. Proper marketing arrangement should be made before the end of the growing season. Harvest size is usually determined by the buyer. The farmer should be observant. Sudden behavioral changes are tell – tale signs that something is wrong with the fishes. Omooba77:This is a good development provided it won't go into the hands of greedy politicians as in the Relief materials of the last flood disaster. Ecology and nature conservation is a worthy consideration now. Biodiversity and nature will be of immense aid if the government sit up now. What about those heavy smoking truck engines, motorcycles and daily pollution from factories depositing unheard level of toxic and harmful gaseous filaments? |
p3ndy79:You are on point dear. If APC or any one can hack and clone encrypted INEC database it means they are not competent, the biggest party in Africa has the only right to do such? Nigerians, awake. Opposition is not detrimental, it only sharpens opponent. Let us learn to accept critics and try to live above them. I love Nigeria, PDP, APC and others are all good, but let's be transparent. |

Tbillz:We have so many things on ground already. Ogah Jonah u don hear, sometimes bedroom weakness can be noticed by observers. |
Wonders shall never end. Why ban Ocada? If on the grounds for security, is it deadlier than trucks and trailers? This people want to drag GEJ down. If by any means he announces this, believe me he won't get the massive supposed support come 2015. Many of us here are saying govt should provide job for ocadas without remembering that most of these guys are not educated and can only fit in where they are. An average ocada man takes home 4 to 5k daily. Some of them are students who pay their bills therein, some have elderly parents as benefactors of his ocada business. If GEJ endorses this, he will not like the outcome as I know these guys make up the majority campaign lead any politician wouldn't like to toy with if he must be mandated. Irritate ocada guys, and irrigate your public ambition. I have heard them say so. You need to be with these guys to know what and how they relate. They have a kind of network that starts with their chairman. They only need a simple directive from their chairman, before you know it they have started acting thus. Most of them have little or no education to integrate actions all they need is a little instigation to burst. Please GEJ, look at many issues before endorsing this as it needs tender attention. |
It shall be a flock of all popular Nollywood celebs as popular Ngozi Ezeonu bury's mum "Madam Go slow" as fondly aliased by close peers, tomorrow in Azu Ogbunike, Oyi Lga, Anambra state. Her mother was a philanthropist, peacemaker and a role model. Her death @65 truly shocked her benefactors especially several widows in her payroll, but Ngozi Ezeonu promised in a close door meeting with her siblings to continue from where mama stopped. May her soul receive eternal rest. Amen to this if you are Ngozi's fan.

There is nothing wrong with it depending on the usage and punctuation. "I was like(,) ok". Take note of the comma, denote the ok; signifies " I was like------------. Any other word like Saying, doing, going etc could replace the comma to present a correct setting. Hope this is helpful? |
Neldrizzy:Money ritual is effective. I doubt how people here think it doesn't. Yes, those baba that do it know the implication and won't tell their clients till they are enlisted. I don't advice anyone I know to involve in money ritual hence it shortens life. I will recommend you get this powerful spiritual book The Black Book. This book has all it takes to give you Wealth, Love, Power and Opulence in minutes. I strongly recommend it as I know it has no side effect or blood shed involvement. Where do our politicians get money to build those houses, exotic cars and opulent lives? Not until political seat is less amiable will corruption end. Infact I propose all politicians should not own cars and houses and not ride in more than peugeot 504 then not have more than 1.2milion in account then you will see things will change. All offices have skeleton not any righteous at all. Let's try this and see. |
Of all these topics, we are all speaking from a canal mindset. To truly prove how we know the bible we should start with its quotation and speaking therein. I did not see any of such here. Romans 4:7 said BIBLE > New Testament > Romans > 4.7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. We sin always be it in thought, sight, taste and action, the glamour remains our reflection and remorse assertions of such deed. Let's leave these people and think how intimate we are with the creator. At one instance one will observe Christians lashing Muslims or Muslims lashing Christians, peganism, they tag a death toll, but we all forgot we are denominated into them by virtue of birth or interest. Who knows how hell or heaven is? The most important thing is to be at peace with yourself and the creator. I was one of those that go about talking trashes about religion and belief, but since I stumbled on this special spiritual book (The Black Secret), things turned around. I was at peace with myself, my God and I began to shape my future which is affluenced today. Just know the truth and how things evolve. With this book I generated wealth, love, fame and power to have things done my own way that people around me thought I have joined one of those cults. We all need the truth to get out of this shackle. In other not to violate rules here, I am willing to give a free guide on where and how to get The Black Secret to anyone that is willing. Just call or text me here: 08133972034 or check it up here: www.blackraven.biz.tc. Let's think out of the box nothing happens by chance, things are made.

Moderator, take this to frontpage please it is so motivational and encouraging. Many people will be redeemed herein. Dr Kent, in deadly sick bed still proclaiming and confessing God!!! |
Dr. Kent Brantly, one of the two US doctors who contracted the Ebola virus in Liberia, has spoken out for the first time. He released a statement from his isolation room at Emory University in Atlanta where he’s being treated after he was flown out of Liberia last week. He is the first Ebola patient to receive experimental serum, ZMapp. Below is the statement Brantly released to the media yesterday “I am writing this update from my isolation room at Emory University Hospital, where the doctors and nurses are providing the very best care possible. I am growing stronger every day, and I thank God for His mercy as I have wrestled with this terrible disease. I also want to extend my deep and sincere thanks to all of you who have been praying for my recovery as well as for Nancy and for the people of Liberia and West Africa. “My wife Amber and I, along with our two children, did not move to Liberia for the specific purpose of fighting Ebola. We went to Liberia because we believe God called us to serve Him at ELWA Hospital.” Continue… “One thing I have learned is that following God often leads us to unexpected places. When Ebola spread into Liberia, my usual hospital work turned more and more toward treating the increasing number of Ebola patients. I held the hands of countless individuals as this terrible disease took their lives away from them. I witnessed the horror first-hand, and I can still remember every face and name. “When I started feeling ill on that Wednesday morning, I immediately isolated myself until the test confirmed my diagnosis three days later. When the result was positive, I remember a deep sense of peace that was beyond all understanding. God was reminding me of what He had taught me years ago, that He will give me everything I need to be faithful to Him. “Now it is two weeks later, and I am in a totally different setting. My focus, however, remains the same – to follow God. As you continue to pray for Nancy and me, yes, please pray for our recovery. More importantly, pray that we would be faithful to God’s call on our lives in these new circumstances.

spankyflex: so all this story was to sell your special ebook?]Thanks for this post. To be frank these Chinese folks are treating Nigerians badly both here and in their Chinko land. I was there last summer on a summit, but what I saw really troubled me. The truth remains that in China, they think labour should be free considering their former colonial communist, aristocratic state. In late 70's if one can note, people refer Taiwan made goods as inferior no wonder many say " I don't need Taiwan, give me original". Lately, China has taken their place especially in technology. Look around you, even this phone or PC you are using might be their patron. They allowed their citizens into all developed Asia and Europe as labourers, gather several diplomats and here they are today spreading their technological wings global. The best European and first world's companies are in China, hence labour is cheap therein. Give a Chinese two Pizza pie, of course a bottle of their favourite sugar-filled drink Ruecola (Ribena-like), he will cultivate from 7am till 9pm so long as the drink remains. He may not be anxious to ask of money, but the secret remains that tomorrow he will be the one employing people to do that same job he did for you. How do they operate? Chinese are very tactful and diplomatic. They insert importance in anything they do hoping to own such tomorrow, but Nija? Hmmm.... Give me money abeg let me feed my family. Many of our guys working for these people are supposed to have learnt a lot to carry them along. Stop being an employee always, you too can employ and become an EMPLOYER. Believe me with N10,000 you can be on your own and start employing people in months. I found this special E-book stocked with about 1000 things you can start now and start your own business even how to source loan should you need it free of collaterial. You can call the guy to get yours only N1,500. It is awesome. 08133972034. Or email: selfaidinitiative@gmail.com. I attached the preview of E-book here. Don't mind you must make it. Leave these Chinese let's build our own edifice.Ha a ha ha ha. You are funny. I said the truth after all. These people treat us like toys and working tools. The book actually is not mine, I just chipped it in should anyone need it. The New Nigeria we are building demands all hands to be on deck, information, strategy and reforms are needed to rebrand Nija, so that was my quota dear no blame AKPOR o o. |
You are right and the first to comment. The only annoying part of the story is that the Sunday school teacher is her father. He did nt say what actually she was watching for sanity sake, but we around knew and the man knew we heard it. What will he do to her? The girl was just admitted into one of these claimed christian institutions in the east. |
The latest technology trend made it possible for the Bible and Quran to be accessible from smart devices, but of late, I rarely see people with their Bibles or Quran while in service. Today, a lady seating at my back in the church was watching an indecent (adult) movie with her earpiece pretending to be reading the bible from her device, immediately our Sunday school teacher quoted a version, and came straight to her because he was watching her reactions since inception of the service, she smiles, grins and raises eye brows. The man noticed her mixed-grin and came straight to her and said " Read the version if you have seen it". She wanted to scroll her PAD, the man collected the Ipad, hmmmm, I nearly fainted when he shouted "JESUS". The man nearly dropped the pad on my head. He stood for nearly 3 minutes before he said "Satan is a liar". Everybody in the service was like; what is it? He picked courage and switched the device off. He told us this girl was busy watching movie while service is on. Many people did not understand it, but people around her did because he removed the earpiece before switching it off. So I still ask, which of these things do you take to service and what do you do with your smart device in the session? He said he has confiscated the ipad. What is your take, should he give it back to her or seize it? |

DRealGeesam1: My confession and apologyI truly doubt if you are Adesewa as claimed. You heard NAFDAC will arrest anyone that claims cure for Ebola, so with this rumor that emanated from another source you decided to settle your scores with love love matter by puting another in trouble. I got the message before the time you claimed you were planing it. You will have anothe apology this time in the station for setting an innocent Adesewa and Funke up think twice they are humans like you. |
EBOLA unlike HIV/AIDS is very easy to contract and spread as such it should not be treated like HIV/AIDS where all carriers are not disclosed for security reasons. To arrest EBOLA in Nigeria, all primary and the acclaimed 27 contacts should be notified and published because as am saying this, the contacts are busy infecting others who do not know they are carriers. I suggest LASG should make the names of those contacts public and as well inquire from the public who have made contact with them of late, with this, we will arrest EBOLA. Again, there should be adequate provision for those on surveillance both medically and economically, vis avis we will arrest this scenario.
