PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy Scam: Is The NLC and TUC already Compromised? by Emilo(m): 10:47am On Jan 04, 2012
The question is would the strike solve anythinghuh? Over the years i have come to realise that strike does not solve anything but prolong issues. The answer is REVOLUTION!!!!
PoliticsRe: Fight Corruption And Leave Subsidy Alone! by Emilo(m): 10:14am On Jan 04, 2012
If you ask me, the right actions by the government would have been, in the following order,

First----Arrest the so called "Cabals", seize all their assets and money and plunge back into the system

Second----Ensure workers salary are increased nationwide

Third--- Address Boko Haram issue (the government through the SSS are aware of the culprit, if not explain how they were able to arrest and kill the leader of Boko Haram, when this rubbish first emanated)

Fourth-- Gradually remove the fuel subsidy (cos whether we like it or not, one day it must be removed)

Fifth-----Build the refineries, and gradually return the nation to agriculture era

Foreign AffairsRe: Breaking News: Japan Hit By A New Earthquake Of 7.4, Tsunami Warning Issued by Emilo(m): 7:28pm On Apr 07, 2011
I hope this is not true, i have been watching the courage displayed by the Japanesse since the first Earthquake, i must say they have inspired me. But with another Earthquake, man thats testing the limit of courage. The government should endevour to relocate all seaside dweller to the hinterland to reduce the impact in the future. Except fishermen and the likes.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nnpc Past Question by Emilo(m): 4:41am On Mar 26, 2011
Nigerians are so lazy, they want everything already made. Personally i don't prepare before going for exams, especially when its very close (and have always done well). I believe if u don't know it all along why would you over night. Someone just woke up and and sent some questions and you are all confusing yourselves with unconfirmed info. Will you all get your ass out of your sit starring at your system trying to read stupid info and get to bed so u can get up on time with clear head for the exam, lol

Hello dear, you are not alone, i envy these other guys talking about courier and exam center, i fulfilled all obligations and even prayed but wasn't invited for the exams. I wish you guys good luck, maybe NNPC wasn't meant for me and God has something else for me. I actually applied for experienced position, are there other experienced applicants who have been invited for today's exam? or its just fresh graduates for the exams.
HealthRe: Nigerian Scientist Makes New Findings On Tomato ! by Emilo(m): 8:24pm On Mar 23, 2011
MyJoe:
NL folks never cease to amaze! Someone makes an important scientific discovery on the usefulness of a plant hitherto ignored by urbanised Nigerians although consumed by rural folks, a plant that we are told may have preventive properties against some deadly ailments, and someone is talking about children making phones China! Why not listen to BBC, CNN or read scientific journals and see how leading universities spend millions on similar researches and how similar discoveries are celebrated.

For those who don't know the snake tomato, it's a garden plant that actually crawls along the ground, resembling a snake - without the snakehead, of course. I am not aware that it grows commonly in the wild. It starts out developing as green and turns yellow or ripe when ripe. Sorry, can't find a picture of it online.
Nicely said my friend, i just wonder with the way people reason. Someone came up with a finding that has prompt the Germans to grow this plant, we are here talking trash. If this country was run properly, findings such as these would have been picked up and taken to a whole new height.

Nairaland GeneralUprising And Tragedy In Port-harcourt by Emilo(op): 2:16pm On Jun 17, 2010
Information received is that there is a riot going on near Bori Camp here in Port Harcourt.
Apparently hawkers and MOPOL have got into a scrap and the MOPOL opened fire. It’s not confirmed but apparently there have been fatalities.

Also i have just been informed that a tanker is in flames along Obigbo road (popular bad spot) and a number of people got caught up in the inferno.

Dont ask for source u can confirm.

Tell me what is so great abt G.T, cos he has a good voice, and competed with wande coal and lost or cos he knows the instrument, but how does that add up as being a good artist. Maybe i just dont like his kind of song, whatever.

In a real sense I think Tony Tetula should by now redirect his thinking and ambition as per music to something else I think he is already an exhausted singer I dont see him given out anything good anylonger. I think he needs some help if he still want to be relevant in what Nigeria music is saying today orelse he will be irrelevant and scrap out outightly.
Yeah supported

In my opinion these guys are whack and should sign up for Social Services (Leprosy Care Organization) maybe they could be relevant there.

6) G.T the Guiterman

SportsNigeria Fans Stampede Gate During Friendly by Emilo(op): 8:25pm On Jun 06, 2010
Check this out since the past two weeks or so we have been entertained by a number of international friendlies with no demise or incident reported, today the 6th of june, Nigeria played her first friendly in South Africa and a stampede occurred outside the stadium in which a number of people have been hospitalized. You can also re-call that the match was also stopped for some minutes to barricade Nigerian fans who were becoming uncontrollable. I think its high time we realised we are not the only country in this world. Haba!!
