1. The reason why the old school buildings still exists in some schools was because they couldnt declare a state-wide public holiday for school students so as to allow for construction. So in some places, whilst the students still managed the old buildings, New ones were built. After completion, trnsfer the students and work on the old or demolish them completely.

2. Free school unifroms and books are part of the scheme my dear. Even I have seen many kids with school uniforms branded with RVSG on them. #FACT!

3. The old teachers part is quite sad and true. Not the governors fault. Its hard to break up that cartel. With the Nigerian Union of Teachers and other unions to overcome, its not easy. I can tell you for a fact that he s working on this matter seriously. Its not been an easy task.. Sort of like what Jonathan had to go through to deal with NEPA?PHCN staff.

4. The fees for these new schools are free for Rivers indegenes .. I'm not sure about others.

I'm glad you like the health centre project.. its not been finished. the programme is pretty wide and detailed. The state is currently working on developing a dedicated server for all the health Centres in the state. This is to harmonize records. so a person with his files in Opbo Nkoro LGA can receive treatment in Ikwerre LGA and the doctors will still have access to his fies from the server. I even know the guy who would be handling that project. Ask for the equipping of the health centres,, I cant speak on that for now, but I will investigate this. [/b][/quote]Nice response, but e be like say u sef follow dey chop the money. I can tell from u big belle!!

I charge you to come to my daughter school in Akpajo by Sandfill area and see for yourself. Lets know who is lying. And please visit during school hours. Thank you.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi's Schools In Port Harcourt by Emilo(m): 1:00pm On Jun 17, 2013
Ameachi happens to be a manipulator of sort. I have a daughter attending one of theses schools. Let me tell you all.....Yes, he did built magnificent edifice as school with facilities that have never been used. Instead of them to integrate pupils in the old school, they went ahead and build this schools in front of the old schools, pushed aside the old pupils who still learning in dilapidated structures.

He took in new students with the same old teachers who have nothing to offer. The quality of education is still the same, with beautiful buildings.I have tried to reason why would they construct new buildings, take in new pupils without providing books, uniform etc and allow the old pupils to go through hell. The answer is simply for cheap publicity. He knew he was not going to create enough classes for the pupils so he allowed old pupils to continue the same way they have been. If you doubt this look behind all this newly constructed schools you would still see the old school and pupils languishing in the deteriorated buildings.

As for health, he did very well, the health centers are beautiful, but lack simple amenities/ apparatus/ equipment as the case may be. But a friend of mine recently benefited to his free medical scheme. My friend wife had a C.S and some complications, if they were to pay it would have amounted to about 350k. This was however done free of charge.

Siena: Exonerated from what? You make it sound like she's on trial, which she clearly isn't. How self righteous can you get? Exonerate herself? Bro, listen to yourself!

She certainly doesn't have to scan any documents to tender here (Nairaland Court?) for anyone to examine. It's either you believe her, or you don't. You believing or not won't affect her quality of life. She owes no one anything.
Brother, no one is cross-examing anyone like in the court of law. I for one would want to know if issues like this could be waived at the Embassy. The only way i can completely conclude is evidence (i mean real evidence), not one story tale. Its not compulsory tho, it would just make us all believe and can stand confident and advice others.

To save everyone their worries, scan the stamped page on your passport so we can see the date. Now or when you collect your passport..No go bring somebody own sha....

SportsNigeria Team Discribed As Mediocre Squad (good For Nothing) by Emilo(op): 4:46pm On Jan 31, 2013
FIFA man and former publisher of African Football magazine, Emmanuel Maradas came down heavily on the Super Eagles of Nigeria yesterday, describing them as a low quality side without anything to show in the on-going African Cup of Nations.

And for this, he has predicted that there would be no hiding place for the Nigerians when they face star-studded Cote d’Ivoire in the quarter finals on. The Eagles finished second in their group, behind Burkina Faso and are condemned to play Cote d’Ivoire who topped their group.

Maradas said yesterday that his heart bled when he watched Nigeria struggle throughout the matches they played to get to this point.

“Your team is not solid and it has no star player. It is just an ordinary team. I feel sad to see Nigeria which used to be a powerhouse present a mediocre squad.

They have played poorly and only managed to escape the disgrace of being beaten in the first round. I feel sad because this is the same country that had star players like Kanu, Babayaro, Oliseh, Okocha and the list is endless.

What is the problem with Nigeria? Are you saying that out of the millions of people in Nigeria, you cannot get up to seven star players? What is the problem with Nigeria?”, Maradas asked repeatedly.

This is a country that I love so much. A country of the greats in African football”. He shook his head in utter disbelief. Nigeria should not struggle in any group in African football.

Look at Cape Verde. They are the surprise team of the tournament”.
He was asked about the chances of the Eagles against Cote d’Ivoire and he shot back. “You have no chance. You’ll struggle.

They have better players in all compartments. Even Drogba who has moved to Galatassaray is a threat. I will give Cote d’Ivoire 60% and Nigeria 40% chance of moving on.

If you put Nigeria 10 years back, I will rate them 50-50. That is how bad your Eagles have fallen. A country with so much and millions of people cannot raise a dreaded squad, no, it is a shame.

I know football can be funny but not with these type of your team against Cote d’Ivoire”, he said
