Good morning everyone,

I am seriously in need of advise. I just discovered yester night that I was pregnant. Now a worried.

First, in mid January I kept having sharp pains in my lower abdomen they don't last just comes and goes then my breast became so heavy that I had to use my hands to support it. Tot I was coming down with something so I went to the hospital. Doctor said recommend some tests blood an urine. But he said he already knew what was wrong with me that I had an infection (forgot the name he called).

So while I w as waiting for the results he gave me durgs levotil and one anti inflammation durgs. I started taking them thinking since he is a doctor he should know better.

Only for me to go back for my results and see that I was/am pregnant. all the doctor could say was he was sorry he was wrong. Seriously how can he be so wrong lie dat.

Now I couldn't sleep, am I still pregnant? Have the drugs affected the baby in any way? Cos Ave not felt then pain again. And my breast AR no longer swollen. and no symptoms whatsoever.

I remember I had same experience with you but can't remember the drugs the doctor gave me then. He said I had serious infection which needed to be treated aggressively and the funny part of the whole thing was that a pregnancy test was conducted on me using blood. I was given drugs and injections after taking them for 3 days I decided to buy strip at home and do the pregnancy test, lo and behold it had 2 bold red lines I immediately stopped the medications and that was the last time I visited that hospital after complaining to them. 8 months later I had my prince charming.

when my baby had that trembling thing I took him to a pead and I was told his calcium level was low, plus his blood pcv too was very low. Lo was given drugs and now he doesn't tremble anymore. My wrist still hurts but mine is just one hand

I tink u should cont bf more frequently, since he s stil 2 months. Or u can try aptamil if ur baby is on formular.

Pls mamas, i need ur contribution. D Ndawu isi ( d small hole in d front of babies hair) of my 3 months old baby is gettin deeper n even cmin towards d fore head. My mother said its dehydration, But I do gv him water daily Apart frm bm. Pls should I b concerned n wot should I do?

I also read somewhere that it's dehydration
Chinwendym massage baby's tummy with hot water and the old women around me also taught me to pour warm water over babys anus and it also works like magic. Baby Josh likes it and whenever i do that he even poops

pheeewww not funny reading all the pages i missed sotey i was dozing off with fone on in my hand. ginababy take heart, may your mum's soul rest in peace. I lost mine 10 July 2002 but it still feels like I lost her of recent. Keep her memories alive and try not to get depressed all the time. it is well and may you find comfort in the Lord.

Greetings to all mamas...hapy vigilante... I took my ds 2 d hosp 2day wt regards to d "not peein issue". Dr said its ntn 2 worry abt dat I should only increas my gvin him water dat it might b due to d dry weda. I ve bn forcin my ds 2 take water since ds issue started But he s a no water baby, bt I try my best 2 force him, no mater how little. Now he only pee Wen given water. Should I continue wt ds method or I should seek 4 anoda opinion elswr. Dou I don't no any oda peadeatrician.

Give him d folic acid
And pls eat a balance diet and breast feed lo very well

Was ur lo on any antibiotics b4 d diagnosis

Cos my Ds had same when he was 2months old

Ur lo will be fine by God grace

He wasn't on any antibiotic before the diagnosis, but we were given some after the diagnosis. Thanks Ma

Greetings to all d Sabi mamas in the house..so I posted about 3 weeks ago that my baby was breech and my dr wanted me to opt for an elective CS....well I eventually went ahead with it and my baby boy was delivered on the 27th of dec at 39+1 wks.

UmmTwins2 I also think it's colic, does his tummy swell? Ds also does that when sucking but after administering infacol it all stopped. Does your baby have a big navel?
Hafsat24 I noticed pregnacare breastfeeding helped me and when taking tea or pap put enough milk and Milo in the tea while for the pap put plenty milk. For the weight lemme share my story
Ds was 2.3kg at birth and at 3 days immunization he weighed 2.0kg but when we went for 6 weeks immunization his weight had reached 5.0kg. I will suggest you just concentrate on feeding him for now

Follow the doctors instruction. I don't know abbout giving him water. I guess you should cos of the drugs. Pls be sure the water is very clean.

Good day mama's, my 2 months old baby pcv is 28% should I be worried? Doc said it's low and I should administer folic acid once daily for 2 weeks to lo. I was on ebf but I want to start giving lo water cos of the drugs we were given, I feel he needs water since he is taking too many drugs. What do you think

Pls help ds started vomiting after every meal this morning. He has vomitted after d last three meals today. Wat can I give him.

Pls if it doesn't stop take him to the hospital asap, don't mean to scare you but my sisters ds also had same problem and when they got to the hospital they were admitted and drip was administered to him, while there 3 babies were admitted that same evening and the hospital staff were complaining that they have been having such cases recently. Also, same thing is happening in my aunt's area in kano too.
