This should not be encouraged. Child kidnap is on the rise in recent times. Avoid shots that give away vital info about location etc.

I'm interested too.

However, apart from residential units, are you considering commercial properties such as malls, hostels etc. I think this has more value/unit square metre than residential properties.

Apart from build and sell we can also build multi dwelling units for rentals too, since the value of properties won't depreciate we can have it for long term as a source of multiple income stream. IMHO

Properties / Re: Businesses And Houses Underwater In Lekki by emma2002(m): 9:19am On Sep 28, 2016
Sadly a cleared drainage system is only a temporal palliative that won't do much to the problem. To start with, what causes flooding is not only rainfall but sometimes as a result of rise in tidal waves or ocean surges.

Lekki and its environs have a soil that is already saturated (or swampy) and the slightest rainfall will result into a flood.

As more and more buildings spring up, the available space for ground water keeps moving until it finds outlet in roads and few open ground/spaces.

Moreover, the land reclamation being done in most parts as well as huge projects like the Eko Atlantic City will surely fight back to take its place. Most parts of Lagos around the coastal areas will eventually be affected but the first sufferers would be Lekki dwellers.

Even with a perfect drainage system, the flood water would only flow into a lower plain or less saturated soil which Lekki does not have.

Unfortunately, Lekki flooding problem is a ticking time bomb which has no simple solution. Early warning signs now are sufficient to inform residents to consider fleeing the area.

Thinking of getting a long term loan to hasten the expansion of my business. Any suggestions on the best bank for this?

Good initiative.

However, you need to do it in small bits. The economy is not healthy for any huge borrowing or else you will end up spending what you have now to pay the bank and still it won't be enough.

By the way banks should be your last resort!

Anyway was once confused like you.

First house, i used the conventional wooden board. It requires painting at last and that is more cost. At that time, the plastic board was still new in town and not many designs.

Now, i dont bother looking the way of the wooden boards. Plastic boards are the game.

Kindly share pictures of the plastic boards if you don't mind sir.

Saraki Renovates Late Rashidi Yekini's House,Boosts Mother's Biz

The Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki yesterday extended hands of fellowship to the family of the late football legend, Rashidi Yekini.

Parts of the gesture was presentation of tricycle to late Rashidi Yekini's younger brother, Akeem Yekini, renovation of Yekini's house in Offa, particularly where his mother stays and recruitment of domestic servants including a nurse for the mother.

Similarly, the petty trading business of the late football legend's mother, Alhaja Sikirat Yekini was boosted through the injection of funds and provision of a well water in the compound to ease water supply in the compound.

Speaking on behalf of the Senate President during the presentation, the Director, ABS Ilorin FC, Alloy Chukwu Emeka described the gesture as a right step in recognising the late legend's contribution to the development of sports in the country.

He added that the gesture was to bring about maximum comfort to the mother and family of the late football legend.

According to him "the Senate President is a man who is passionate about the development of the youths and sports especially in kwara state and Ira, the late Yekini's home town particularly.

"We have come to also sympathise with the family of Yekini to show that the labour of our heros past should not be in vain and to show to the young ones that whatever they are doing today will not be in vain and once they do it well, they will be rewarded accordingly.

"To this end, the Senate President has presented a tricycle to his younger brother and renovated the house where the mother stays; he boosted her business, renovated the mosque in the compound and boost water supply with the provision of a well and water reservoir.

"And part of Saraki's vision to produce more Rashidi Yekinis in the country especially from this environ is to initiate a programme of under- 13 Championship through the ABS where youths from the town and other parts of the state will be competing yearly to remember Rashidi Yekini. We have provided kits, balls and a trophy on behalf of the Senate President".
Responding, the mother of late Rashidi Yekini, Mrs Sikirat Yekini thanked the Senate President for the gesture and prayed God to reward him in manifold.

Also speaking on behalf of the family, Mr Akeem Yekini appreciated Saraki for remembering the family especially when such assistance was most needed.

I believe this news will gladden your heart. I guess the allowances is still running

Just like that

No financial security plan in place
No success story
No back up plan and you expect people will just trust what you said here and next thing will be to part with their hard earned cash?

I don't think so.

Do a proper feasibility study and engage a professional to write a business proposal etc.

Good luck!

Transfers done on ATM is actually on quickteller embedded and take note that she did an intra bank transfer. For UBA as an example it doesn't request for a PIN.

While this incident is regreted it is also annoying that the victim is contributory to it, a few questions for him.

1 Why in this age and time would anyone be doing a cash based transaction when there are several options available for cashless payment options.

2. Assuming it was absolutely necessary to carry cash why was it necessary to leave it unattended to in a vehicle? The rule of thumb is vary your mode and location after withdrawal of such huge sums with the knowledge that the banks now have your full and accurate details.

3. From the time stamp of the CCTV footage it shows the incident took place close to midnight, implying the owner had hoped to leave the cash in the car all-night long, how unwise could this be!

I believe people should start being prosecuted for fueling certain crimes by their actions or inaction.
