Prophet Fufeyin of Christ Mercyland is the man of God behind the miracle of this man with erectile dysfunction as he can be seen in the video which has now gone viral online, praying for the man in need of healing. The man can be seen in the video aggressively trying to hold the stance of his erected genitals while the pastor prays for him… all this was done as the congregation watched. The incident happened while football fans were trying to enter the stadium during the World Cup qualifier against Zambia. The fans were allegedly beaten by soldiers at the gates of the stadium with heavy sticks. According to Punch, the stampede occurred as the crowd tried to avoid the soldiers’ sticks. The newspaper reports that bloodstains were around the gate of the stadium, while policemen and personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps were seen standing beside some unconscious fans. Some of the fans claimed they escaped death by the whiskers. A female fan, Aniema Ekong, said, “I thank God that I’m alive. This is not the first time this kind of incident had occurred. In fact, in every major tournament, there is always a tale of woes to tell about security agents injuring or killing people.” Another fan who identified himself as Chukwudi, said his girlfriend was severely injured by the security personnel manning the gate. He said, “I don’t know why there is always trouble in this stadium.” Ambulances were seen conveying injured persons to the hospital. Prices of staple food, including garri, yam and potatoes, have crashed, a market survey has shown. Buyers at the Ogbe Ogonogo Market, on Sunday, expressed happiness over the situation as the food dealers attributed the price fall to the reduction in the cost price of the items. Some farmers said the reduction in the prices was due to the bumper harvest which resulted from early and adequate rainfall in Delta and other neighbouring states. Mrs Angela Okonta, a food dealer, said that a measure of garri which was previously sold for N20,000 now sell for 17,000. According to her, a bushel of garri which sold for N1,000 in June now went for N700. “A bag of potatoes was sold for N2,000 some months ago, but now we sell it N1400. “A medium size tuber of yam previously sold for between N500 and N600 is now sold for between N300 and N400, depending on the buyer’s bargaining power,” she said. A rice seller, Mr Eugene Nkenchor, said that a 50 kilogramme bag of rice which was earlier sold for N18,000 now sold for N17,000.. He said that there was a slight drop in the price of white beans as a bag of the commodity now went for N15,000 instead of N16,500. “But there is a slight increase in the price of brown beans. A sack of brown beans earlier sold for N17,000 now costs N17,500. A farmer, Mr Nwanne Obi, said there had been good harvest in the state this year due to early and adequate rainfall. Obi said that the yams currently in the market were planted in the riverine communities between November and December last year. He said the ones cultivated upland between March and April had yet to mature, pointing out that it took a minimum period of six months for them to mature. According to Mr Bartholomew Isichie, another farmer, garri and other products of cassava cost higher during the dry season because of the difficulty in harvesting the crops. “During the rainy season, it is easier to harvest; the soil is soft and it is easy to dig out cassava tubers. He said that potatoes were much available in the market and cheap because the crop was usually planted in March and April and that it required only three months for it to mature. Forty-one cities in Canada, Mexico and the United States have submitted bids to serve as host cities for the 2026 World Cup, officials said Thursday. The joint North American bid is seen as the favourite for 2026, with only one other bid – Morocco – so far in the running for the tournament. The list of 41 cities has been finalised after three cities invited to submit bids – San Diego, Green Bay and Calgary – failed to do so. The US-Mexico-Canada World Cup bid will submit between 20-25 venues in its final bid to FIFA, with 12 locations likely to be chosen as host cities for the tournament, which will be the first to use FIFA’s expanded 48-team format. “We’re thrilled with the submissions that we have received, especially each city’s commitment to innovation and sustainability,” the bid committee’s executive director John Kristick said. Cities not hosting games could be chosen as other venues needed for the tournament, such as team base camps, a statement said. Bid officials have said 60 of the tournament’s matches would be staged in the United States, with Canada and Mexico hosting 10 games each. The United States will host all knockout games from the quarter-finals onwards. Stadiums under consideration in the United States include several venues used in the 1994 World Cup, including the Pasadena Rose Bowl. Other venues include the new Los Angeles Stadium, and the 105,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys. http://anstalk.com/41-cities-bid-host-2026-world-cup/ lalasticlala

Fraudsters purporting to be from your bank can be convincing, but there are some things your bank will never ask you. Your bank will never ask for more than three digits from your PIN to confirm your identity, for example. New ways to bank – by telephone, the Internet and now your mobile – have saved us a lot of time but have also opened up opportunities for fraudsters. Their tricks normally involve pretending to be your bank’s representatives, whether on the phone or via email. After convincing you that they are genuine, they ask you to carry out various plausible-sounding actions that will result in your account being raided. This trend is becoming more popular in the country and the Central Bank of Nigeria is coming up with initiatives to combat electronic frauds in the banking system. According to www.moneyfacts.co.uk, the United Kingdom’s biggest banks have decided to publish a list of the things they will never ask their customers to do after a YouGov poll found that millions of accountholders unwittingly leave themselves open to fraud. Based on the answers to the poll, which assessed customers’ responses to some of the common tactics used by fraudsters over the phone, via email or via text, the British Bankers’ Association has calculated how many people it believes could fall foul of the most prevalent frauds. Worryingly, around eight million people are thought to be vulnerable to “vishing” or voice phishing, while four million may transfer money into another supposed “safe” account if instructed, three million could be willing to carry out “test transactions” online, and 1.7 million would pass their bank card over to a courier on their doorstep if they carried some form of ID card. To counter this and make customers more aware of the threat, the BBA has launched a fraud awareness campaign to help people spot the difference between legitimate contacts from their banks and a call from a fraudster. A leaflet and a new website, Know Fraud, No Fraud, have advice on how to avoid becoming a victim, and what to do if you get caught out. The leaflet also sets out eight things your bank will NEVER ask you to do. If a similar poll is conducted in Nigeria, the result may be more overwhelming. In fact, the CBN reports have shown that many bank customers are vulnerable to fraud. Nigerian banks under the aegis of the Nigeria Electronic Fraud Forum are also evolving initiatives similar to those of the BBA. However, there is a need for every bank customer to be vigilant. Here are eight things that fraudsters may ask you to do, but which your bank neverwill: Call or email to ask for your full PIN or any online banking passwords If your bank does contact you, perhaps to check that a transaction was really made by you, it would not ask for more than three digits from your PIN to confirm your identity, and would never ask for online passwords. Send someone to your home to collect cash, bank cards or anything else Having posed on the telephone as a bank employee to extract key security information such as your full PIN, the criminals may say they are sending an official courier to your home to collect the corresponding card. These couriers will have bogus “official” identification. Ask you to authorise the transfer of funds to a new account or hand over cash Often criminals, posing as a bank, will instruct you that your account is under threat – usually from a “corrupt employee” or “cyber criminals”. You will be instructed to make an online transfer of money into a new “safe account” – actually the fraudster’s – or hand cash to a bogus employee. Ask you to carry out a ‘test transaction’ online Criminals pretending to be from a bank sometimes email customers asking them to perform a “test” transaction online, perhaps because of a “technical problem” on their account. Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr said Aina, who can play at right-back or left-back, could now line up in Yaounde as the Super Eagles look for a second victory in four days over Cameroon. “FIFA have approved Ola Aina, who can now play for Nigeria,” Rohr was quoted as saying by Supersports.com. Aina, who is on a season-long loan at Hull from Chelsea, was brought in by the Eagles coach to fill the gaps in the full-back positions. The player was born in London to Nigerian parents. Although he has a Nigerian passport, he has represented England at various junior levels and so needed to apply to change his international allegiance. Rohr had hoped to use Aina in the first clash against Cameroon but the FIFA clearance did not arrive on time. The police have dismissed a policeman, Mr. Johnbosco Okoroeze, who aided a suspected ritualist to escape in Port Harcourt. The Police Command in Rivers State says its investigation indicate that Okoroeze, deliberately aided the escape of Mr. Ifeanyi Dike, the suspect. Rivers State Police Commissioner Zaki Ahmed said in Port Harcourt when he was giving the report on the arrests of suspected cultists, armed robbers, car snatchers as well as the recovery of stolen cars, arms and ammunition. Dike had fled from police custody after he was arrested for allegedly raping and killing an eight-year-old girl in Rivers State. But the Police Commissioner believes Okoroeze released him and raised the alarm after doing so. He said that after thorough investigation, it was discovered that the Okoroeze “carried a premeditated action and aided the escape of the suspect”. “The said ex-Sergeant Johnbosco Okoroeze was given Police Orderly Room Trial for which evidence tendered during the trial revealed that he unilaterally, in a premeditated action released the suspect to run before raising alarm of his escape,” Ahmed added. Based on the investigation, the police authorities dismissed Okoroeze and arraigned him for being an accessory to murder; perverting the course of Justice; and permitting the escape of a murder suspect. He was subsequently remanded in prison custody. The suspected ritualist’s escape led to outrage in Port Harcourt with some youths taking to the streets days after in protest, demanding that justice be done in the matter. The police commissioner, in his address, called on the public to be patient and gave assurances that the command will soon re-arrest the escapee. He said, “Information of his alleged escape from an IPO in the course of statement taking did not only leave a sour taste in the mouth of the command, but also created a dent in my avowed fight against crime and criminality. “I am totally committed in seeing that the suspect is re-arrested and any person involved regardless of status in aiding the escape of the suspect will be arrested and if found wanton dealt with in accordance with the law. “We are however close to re-arresting the suspect and I promise you, God willing, he will be re-arrested very soon.” More about Ifeanyi Dike: http://anstalk.com/sergeant-aids-escape-ritualist/ Lalasticlala

Everton striker Wayne Rooney has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, the BBC and Sky Sports reported Friday. The BBC said 31-year-old Rooney was stopped by police near his home in Cheshire, northwest England, on Thursday night. Rooney was seen posing in a selfie with cricketer Jack McIver in a bar in Alderley Edge earlier that day.
