Mankind2024:I totally agree with you bro. I adopted this strategy long time ago due to the industry I am in. Virtually every year, I am always renewing/upgrading one certificate or doing another course. Initially, I wasn't happy doing that because I see it as a waste of scarce resources or money but overtime, it has paid off and I now appreciate it. Reason why I spend a lot of money upgrading myself stockwise both for fundamental and technical analysis. I have spent over $1,500 on courses and I am not stopping anytime soon. I penned down other courses I will buy/do or attend after am through with the ones am doing. Knowledge is light, Knowledge is Power. With knowledge comes confidence and I can trade stocks with more confidence now than before unless I am just in my lazy mode to do the analysis. |
SohSoh:Why commercial paper? You raise CP for working capital payable less than a year.. mostly 270 days. You need capital for many reasons and a short term capital raise is not suitable for long term repayment method. Why go for CP when you can go for bank long term loan like 5 years? And why go for bank long term 5 years that would be breathing down on you to payback interest with principal monthly while you can raise the same capital via equity with less pressure. The aim and objectives of capital use determine which route you will use to raise cash. |

No one is coming, To push you. No one is coming, To turn your TV off. No one is coming, To force you to work out. No one is coming, To stop you from scrolling your phone. This life is 100% your responsibility. |
emmaodet:Real power doesn’t need to be proven. The quieter you keep it, the safer it stays. Money loves silence. Let them underestimate you. Flash it and you feed egos, not futures. Move like you’re broke. You’ll thank yourself later. |
The loudest man in the room is usually the weakest. Real men let their discipline not their wallet, speak for them. Flashing money invites attention you don’t need. You need silence, which builds security you’ll never lose. |
emmaodet:The world doesn’t hand out wake-up calls. It sends pain. Silence. Consequences. Some get the message young. Others bleed for years before they see it. Most die with their eyes open, yet asleep. No rescues. No shortcuts. Just your habits… or your excuses. Fix the man in the mirror. Or fall with the rest. |
Some men wake up at 18. Some don’t wake up until life breaks them at 30. Most… never wake up at all. Son, no one’s coming. - Not your friends. - Not your parents. - Not the system. It’s just you your pain, your dreams, and your choices. So wake up early. - Fix your wallet. - Fix your body. - Fix your mind. Because if you don’t fight for your life… No one else will. As copied |

fashionnisir:Not yet. In the meantime, based on my valuation, Japaul should rise to #3.20 region after releasing there H1/25 result if my estimated revenue of 5.6b is met and TTM earnings of 1.6b. They have been doing well in the last 3 Quarters declaring profit, though more needs to be done in there OCF. But after the 100b dilution, they will need to grow there EPS by 600% to breakeven for investors. How good and far the management would be able to make good use of the capital is what we will see. Current market cap = 2.7 x 14.3b shares = #38.6b Final Market cap = #38.6b/100b shares = #0.39 = 39k They plan to do shares reconstruction immediately to avoid uproar....so we may see a 3 to 1 construction to bring the price above #1 to #1.2 per share. But that is just share price cosmetic approach. EPS is down by 600%. As a rule of thumb for me, revenue and earnings growth rate must be higher than dilution rate to give returns to investors. Revenue has been growing at an average of 200% in the last 3 quarters, so dilution of 100% should have been not more than 30b shares but since it seems they want to expand and it will bring value in the long run, then it should be worth the pain. How long will they be able to return 600% eps is another thing...1 year or 5 years? Based on historical returns, Japaul ROIC max has been 8%. If they are to put the future raised capital of 500b into use...let's say 450b out of it while 50b in cash and equivalent, retain earnings or whatever, that will be 40b profit from invested 450b capital. Debt to equity is 40% but with the raise capital, it should go down to 10% atleast......So we may be looking at around 30b profit as equity to shareholders. 2024 retention ratio is 65%....So a payout ratio of 35% = 11.5b divided by 100b shares....11.5k per shares dividends based of my rough estimation of Next twelve month after dilution. |
SonofElElyonRet:It is well. Just checked their fincials today to see if i can go in but will stay it out for now. |

megawealth01:Bro, this no be laughing matter oo. i expected their share price to rice to around #3.2 from #2.7 after the H1/25 result due to the estimated revenue and net profit but with this coming dilution....Damn!!!!!! For the past 3 quarters, it seems they have been putting their house in order....raise revenue and coming into profit despite the cashflow statement still not impressive but with this? Damn...... I won't be surprised to see a massive full offer tomorrow with no buyer at the horrizon.

Japaul diluted their shares from 4b in december to 14.2b shares and now wants to dilute it more to 100b shares. That is craze. It will turn the share price from #2.7 to 39 kobo. To even think their expected TTM revenue by this month would be around 5.43b and with an estimated net margin of 30%, the net profit should be around 1.6b. Dividing that by 100 ordinary shares would render the EPS useless. That is 2 kobo eps...Omohh I know they need money, they are broke. Just 300m in cash and cash equivalent and seriously burning money in FCF but damn....14b to 100b shares is craze unless the are raising that money to acquire a currently functioning and profit generating company, if not, i wash my hands comot. |
Kipaji:What you described in not unusual or uncommon....it is happening here in Nigeria too and virtually all round the world. I think it is the second or third stage of capitalism. |

Locotrader:Na wa ooo, make I add my own Age Analysis as per Agba. Median age of population observed - Rearranging ages in ascending order - 35,40,45,47,50,53 and 60. Median is 47. Mean of the Age = Sum of total ages / observed population of 7 = 330/7 = 47.1i Which means the average age of nsempa members in this forum s 47 years. Standard deviation is 8.3 Which means 1 standard deviation - 8.3 + 47.1 = 55.4 years at the upper band and 47.1 - 8.3 = 38.9 at the lower band. From the original data: 35, 40, 45, 47, 50, 53, 60 The values that fall within [38.87, 55.41] are: 40, 45, 47, 50, 53 That’s 5 out of 7 values, or about 71.4% of nsempa members age fall into this bracket — which aligns well with the empirical rule (about 68% of data falls within 1 standard deviation in a normal distribution). The 7 period average true range = Pa Emma (60) - Emmaodet (35) = 25 which is the average age range on this group. The group is experiencing a bearish candle opening at 60 and closing at 35. The 3 age-period simple moving average is 60 + 53 + 50 / 3 = 54.3. Doing it till the 7th age period will give 54.3, 50, 47.3, 44, 40. It shows the SMA trend line is declining and bearish. You can get your RSI, ADX and many more indicators from these observations. Let me leave the remaing for Agba ichimoku, Ositadinma Price-volume profile, Purist ABCD pattern and elliot wave etc |
