grin, the bolded got me laughing. On a serious note, naija girls are no longer marriageable, the sad truth and the major cause of all this. Even guys that are doing well hardly marry these days.
Marriage is not the only option of man/woman relationship.
There is babymama option, sex mate/bed mate, girlfriend/boyfriend staying together option and many more.
People stress themselves too much to something when there are less stressful options.
Just like life in general were not everyone will love in a duplex, there are some bungalow, some 3 bedroom flat, some self contain or face you I slap you.
Some will use cars, Keke, bike or foot
It is also with relationship. Everyone's situation is not cut off for marriage. Find the one that works for you

It is only the poor or poorly educated without money that are venturing into marriage now, good education and money seems to be natural marriage and birth control for many.
Even if Dem no marry, the women go still dey get belle.
Abi what do we say about ladies popping up with pregnancies up and down with any visible man in their life? The hardship still continues albeit by a single ladies taking care of the babies instead of 2 heads.
No matter the hardship, sex will not stop, pregnancies will continue popping up leading to having massive single mothers that will even become cheaper to get laid with

STRENGTH ISN’T A CHOICE. IT’S THE ONLY OPTION LEFT.

They say, What doesn’t kill u makes u stronger.

But they forget to mention it also makes u colder.
More savage. More guarded. Less trusting.

Life doesn’t build strong men through comfort.
It breaks them first.
It humbles them.
It tests them with betrayal, heartbreak, loss, and silence.

You trusted too much? Now u read people twice.
You loved too deeply? Now your heart has armor.
You were too kind? Now you move with calculation.

Because once you’ve been used, overlooked, betrayed, and left for dead
You stop hoping for rescue.
You become the weapon.

You realize strength isn’t a vibe.
It’s not a trend.
It’s the only thing that keeps you from being stepped on.

So let them talk.
Let them say you’ve changed.
Let them call you cold, heartless, different.
They weren’t there in the trenches with you.
They didn’t see what it took to rebuild what they destroyed.

Because here’s the brutal truth:

The world doesn’t care about your pain.
It only respects the beast that pain built.

So stay cold.
Stay calculated.
Stay dangerous with purpose.

As for me bro, pain taught me silence.
Silence taught me strength.
n Strength made me wise.
Now I walk with depth.

Your peace is earned through power.
Your healing comes with scars.
Master yourself, or suffer with the rest.

The pathway to SelfMastery is the way.

Nobody checks on men until they’re successful again.

Go broke for a minute.

Watch how fast the love turns into silence.

This is why men grind in private and trust very few.
This is the harsh truth a lot of men live with , love often feels conditional. When a man stumbles, the world gets quiet. The calls stop. The support fades.
That's why so many men suffer in silence, rebuild alone, and keep their wins private. Not out of pride, but because experience taught them that loyalty is rare, and silence reveals everything.

Children raised in the two parent household have better prospects than those raised in single parent homes. That's the global result. So all these baby-mama comes across as irresponsibilty. It's hard to see a responsible man intentionally state he wants to have a baby-mama arrangement.
Which lane are you actually Gerrard?
You always support women being financially independent and mostly don't need men again nowadays since their is intimacy gadget and they can finance their own lifestyle. You also support not shamming women for sexual liberation because it is their body and they can use it how they feel without men breeding down on them.
Then, somehow you are worried the same men shouldn't go the babymama way because kids raised under this condition are mostly social misfit and such men are dead-beat dads.
Let me tell you a truth - The moment we accept women sexual liberation aka women can be shameless without been judged, the "dead-beat dad" statement too goes out of the window.
There are no more dead beat dads because you can't use a metric for a man while exonerating the woman.
There can't be a jailer, if there are no prisoners.
The same law that apply to a masquerade apply to a person using hijab because they are both covered.
Nature will always find it's balance irrespective of human's sentiment or biasness.
Lastly, no reasonable person invests where their interest is not protected. The men of olden days were not just responsible (this is debated anyway), ready to die for their women and fight for the village to protect their women and kids. They did that out of the personal conviction that the women are their properties. It is the same way you will fight to the end the land you buy and someone wants to take it away from you.
But when you have properties that can be taken away from you easily without you saying love-vendor, that property becomes a risky investment to do.
If investing my sweat on a lady/relationship, sometimes send her to school, put her on monthly payment, take her abroad etc and she can just wake up to say she is not doing again or give me a bastard or just cheating on me without any repercussion, rather am been laughed at to move on, then it is only natural that survival instinct will kick-off relationship-wise. It will never be about what the kids will turn out to be or whatnot, my survival, sweat, investment is on the line and nothing else people say or gaslighting or emotional blackmailing will do.

The comments here and on Twitter say a lot about the founder's persona and business practices. Besides, it is not every business model that works abroad would work in Nigeria. Basic trading and manufacturing are the key businesses to propel Nigerians' economic growth. People need to earn comfortably and consistently before they can afford alternative entertainment. And one wonders why the Indians, Chinese and Lebanese thrive. Why won't they when they solve basic problems? The other day, some cl0wns on Twitter mocked Dangote for building a refinery, whereas his American counterparts are releasing tech services and updates. Many ignor.ant people with access to the Internet. Na Obasanjo caused all this thing.

Any subscription-based pay-TV programme that concentrates fully on the Nigerian market will fail. There's no other way. You either go the way of YouTube and Spotify by bombarding people with ads to make up for their low purchasing power and poverty, or pack up. Another way is to make your money by stealing user data, then sell to willing partners abroad. But if your aim is to convince Nigerians to pay for streams, apps, or anything they can easily get a counterfeit from China or a fraudulently-hacked alternative that allow multiple users (e.g., Truecaller Pro, Canvas, Capcut, Netflix, Apple Music etc.), you have already failed before you even begin. They will never pay because they can't afford it.

Unfortunately, we don't even see our inability to afford basic things like that as a problem because of our strong affinity for failed governance. In fact, Nigerians consider their low purchasing power and inability to afford the very basic things of life as smartness because there is always that fake engineer and hacker willing to bypass the due process as well as a professional politician willing to convince them to exercise the same level of patience their great grandparents had.

Ordinary Grammarly Pro subscription, many can't afford. Microsoft Office installation, they still can't afford, instead we run to computer village, the home of fake counterfeit software, looking for a fake uncertified engineer to install a fake software or a fake movie site that sells their data to American and Chinese companies for crumbs.

Generally, developed countries would have to increase birth rates or revamp the pension system. Something has to give in. The UAE model is good for even immigrants (after all most immigrants are economic in nature), but bad for the pension system in the UK. Another option is to increase taxes, but many wealthier European countries have high taxes and low birth rates. The UAE/Qatari/Singapore model fits smaller and wealthier nations. The alternative for more populated countries would be to increase the birth rate or rework the pension system.
Increase birth rate? When jobs are drying up? What then are the people going to do?
The years ahead will need lesser and lesser people to run the economy/society.
It takes more than 40 people to clear a 10 acres farm 50 years ago, it only requires 1 tractor man to do the job today and will require a robot or a man with better technological equipment less than 5 hours to do that job in the next 50 years.
So I don't believe we need more humans. Actually we need lesser

Becoming the best version of yourself
means saying goodbye

-to fake friends,
-to empty talks,
-to comfort zones,
-to excuses that held you back.

It’s losing people who only knew the old you.
It’s walking alone while others stay behind.

But that loneliness?
It’s the price of growth.

And every goodbye clears space
for the man you’re meant to become.

It depends on where you are from or if you are willing to move to where those items are and where you want to see yourself in, say, twenty years time. So, for instance, if you want to be a manufacturer in the long term, certainly 20m is a small capital. So to grow that capital, you have to engage in trading, preferably the products you intend to manufacture or add value to.

But please note: building a successful business in any part of the world takes time, grit and determination. Business is not something you enter today and expect rewards tomorrow. The former head of Accenture Nigeria stated it takes between 3 - 5 years to see a return on investment from a growing business.

Nothing good comes easy and sharp sharp. It takes time to compound and compound.
Nigerians just like sharp sharp that is why we are not really in the forefront business-wise in the world.
Most engage in biz out of survival and not passion or flair or the joy to build, employ and grow.
Any one who ask what can they do with 20m in nigeria for biz actually have no business doing one in the first place honestly.

Even though I've conversed with men whose wives weaponised sex, I never realised it was that serious or women INTENTIONALLY do it until I read through their responses to Veekee James about allowing the man just to put the head inside. The outrage was surprising. Like, they believe it's a favour to the man and can decide to put a time on it. I believe if the man does his part as a husband and father, the least he deserves is constant access when he dire needs it. But with wetin I don read (Nairaland, Twitter and Facebook), I don't envy married men o when it comes to sex.
Most times, it is the good, faithful and religious husbands that surfers this.
For sex weaponizing to work, the woman will make sur the husband is a One-man-woman type. Since they are sure he has no option, then they gradually complain and weaponize it.
If you take the bait, it will only get worse.
They can't try that with a womanizer because they are putting their home, source of income and future at risk.
A good sex outside will keep the man out for days which may roll into weeks and months or permanently.
Funny enough, it is not even that most of these ladies don't like sex because some are been banged recklessly at work or start sleeping around like rabbits if the man dies.
My wife tries that with me once and i treated her fvck up well that up till date, she adjusted.
I hate rubbish. You are a stay at home mum.... you have a house cleaner to do the house chores, you only cook breakfast and dinner after which you are always on your fone throughout the day on tiktok or twitter yet if i approach, you will be giving attitude and saying tired and not in the mood for days or week.
What are you doing? not working that most hide under, what i give you a month is more than what many lecturers are taking or even govt doctors, so what exactly am i getting? Told her she is becoming too expensive for my liken.
I only need to paid a house maid 70k per month and she will do virtually all the jobs at home ...wash my clothes, take care of the kids, take them to school, wash the toilets and mop the floors most of what she is not doing yet forming attitude.
She started seeing changes in me and snooping around my fone, then she confronted me that it seems am flirting with ladies and i just told her straight have lost interest in her....Omoh since that time she sit up...Nonsense

So modern day and educated women have won it, bigly!
Modern day women actually win it a lot and are the prize, at least in the developed world, where the economy provides stable and good jobs. Women have maintained their hypergamy, have economic opportunities and with the hypergamy still insist on getting men higher than they are
These set of women are just a fraction of total women and most of them have priced themselves out of any reasonable marriage even if they wish, though many in this category don't mind staying single.

While working and as colleagues, they travel a lot. My female colleagues don go South Korea like twice within six months. Fine, mine would largely be because I am a new immigrant and passport issues, but our working-class women in the UK don visit Morocco and Central Europe steadily. Those in Canada and the US don tour South America and Mexico tire. I no dey see men for all this waka. I follow on IG who has toured almost everywhere in Europe and now seeks a "finance or tech bro".
They can afford to spend their last kobo, live a reckless life or buy expensive things and live above their incomes because deep deep deep down, they know that the worst case scenario, an unfortunate man will have to put them in his house and sweat to feed and impress them for some few minutes of sex if they lose their job or source of income....Man/relationship/Marriage/Relationship is always the fall back plan.

The ones I job hunted with here are touring Europe and the US steadily. Women dey enjoy life steadily, and I have realised that they can do it all by themselves without needing men's presence. But men no fit enjoy themselves without bringing women into the mix.
I wrote about something similar before that i worked with a lady earning lesser than me but traveling to egypt and morrocco for vacation. She can because she knows she has safety net but i have to be sure i am properly covered before doing that. I have US and canada long time visa but have been dragging legs going on vacation due to many bills oat hand.
To worsen it, the small cheating exploration wey men go do inside marriage, they are against it even after asking their husbands "if sex is food?" Like, they don't mind controlling the sexual intercourse with a timetable. He goes outside, problem. Okay, give it to him inside marriage, mbanu. Some beg and beg (shey we saw a thread on the front page?)
It is not uncommon in marriages for women to weaponize sex. I have a friend whose wife weaponizes it to him to the extent he always beg just to have it. He regularly complain about it and swore the max sex he gets in a years is 4...i mean max 4 times a year and it is always very very boring with the woman regularly complaining during the sex.......Early last year they separated when he caught is wife flirting with a mechanic, upon further digging, he got to know the woman is already banging the man sef.
After separation, the woman started sleeping around like a rabbit. This is a woman who regularly weaponize sex for her husband feeding and taking care of her...... she is driving car bought by the hubby, the man built a 4 bedroom bungalow and taking care of them in his capacity...mother of 2.
Now she looks ugly, lean and washed-up just after 18 months of divorce. I guess those sleeping with her are not giving her the money like her hubby, probably sickness from sleeping with different men..who knows.
