Here in the north, they have stoned the president's convoy three times and are actively beating up people who dare mention GEJ's name anywhere they are. In a car wash, one of the boys there who washes my car sometimes was openly swearing in Hausa that they will stop at nothing to make sure that GEJ does not come back.
These APC thugs here are killers. We need more Mbus to stop their nonsense. If IBB could leave Lagos due to JUNE 12 crises, MBU call to mass killing will not go unpunished. Remember he was disgraced out of Rivers. |

Tranquill: The question you should ask these lawyers is, if stealing and corruption are the same, why do they attract different penalties in our laws?
Stealing and corruption are crimes no doubt but they are not the same. It is like adultary and fornication or murder and manslaughter. What Prof Sagey did was just to give two different definitions of stealing and then call one corruption. In law stealing attracts greater penalty than corruption. Stealing is when you take what doesn't belong to you wether as a government official or an individual while corruption is when you try to circumvent the system to the detriment of an organisation such as bribery, nepotism, lying, forgery etc so contrary to what Prof Sagey is saying, it is not every act of corruption that is stealing. Some acts that seem like corruption such as embezzlement of public funds are pure stealing and should be treated as such and that is what the president is saying because if you treat them as corruption they attract lesser penalty in law.
Do not let these partisan lawyers deceive you. In theory and in law, stealing and corruption are different but saying that doesnt mean justifying any of them as good or acceptable. In courts you are tried for for specific offense, like bribery, forgery and lying. No prosecutor goes to courts shouting corruption. Corruption is just a general term for certain crimes. Embezzlement(thefts) is corruption. |

wales: Irate drivers at Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti on Friday attacked an operative of the Directorate of State Service (name witheld) and beat him silly for allegedly interfering in their protest. Trouble started following a disagreement between the students of EKSU and Akoto drivers designated vehicles plying the institution over the number of passengers on a seat. The students were said to have protested that the drivers reduce the number of passengers on a seat to its normal three from four that they had started carrying. The disagreement escalated into a free-for-all and caused traffic gridlock from Bawa Area of Ado Ekiti. An eyewitness said some of the drivers carried clubs, cudgels and sharp objects to scare passengers and motorists plying the road. They also forced motorists to discharge students of the institution. The situation took a more violent trend as the DSS official was attacked. His clothes were torn to shreds and in the process sustained bruises, cuts and blood stains on his body when the reporters met him. “I was punched, clubbed, stoned by the drivers and if not for the timely intervention of another colleague who fortunately came to the scene and shot in the air severally to scare the mob away, it would have been worse, ” he said. Officials of the DSS, Policemen and some top officials of the EKSU later visited the scene to restore peace in the area. The Police Public Relations Officer, Albert Adeyemi, could not be reached for comments. But a police source said it was the DSS official who courted trouble by challenging the drivers. “He shot into the air four times and in the process heightened the tension.” Meanwhile, the students have vowed to ensure that the drivers comply with the regulation of only three people on a seat.

lastpage: The Tape also have "wider implications" since if it is proved that "Koro" and his band of fraudsters were actually the ones on that Tape...
1.) It implicates PDP... as far as the President since only the President has the "powers" to force/move Top Military Commanders on "immediate leave"! So much so was said in the tape. 2.) It implicates Nigerian Army as an accomplice to Electoral fraud (treason) 3.) It implicates Governor Fayose as a fraud (I think l heard something about his election being challenged based on the exposee of that TAPE!) 4.) Eventually, Fayose would be removed by an Election Tribunal and his opponent installed as the legitimate winner
Thus, l am sure filling that case by "Koro" is one of series of "pre-emptive moves" by those that rig our elections, to ensure all the baove doesnot happen.
But the foolish part is to file the same case in New York knowing that PDP or Jonathan cannot bribe the Judges in New York the way they do Nigerian Judges (Remember the Oyo state case a few years back where the Judge, Andooka and the accused were negotiating "how much" to settle the case?).
HE will be first requested to come over ..and if he refuses, he will be subpoenaed and if he still refuses (l have no doubt he will NEVER step into a New York court, knowing his antecedents), the case will be decided against him and he would be asked to pay damages ...if he still refuse to pay (though, paying under this very corrupt Govt will not be a problem but if Buhari wins, wahala don start be that)... he will be convicted and sent to court in absentia.
Anytime he falls within "U.S Jurisdiction", he would be arrested and jailed. On the other hand, if Buhari wins, the U.S will simply make an extradition request.... "No Problemo", will be Buhari's answer!
My Point is: This Court case is a BAD MOVE!

Olakiitan Victor in Ado Ekiti
For allegedly endorsing the presidential candidature of Major Gen Muhammadu Buhari for the 2015 poll, the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, on Wednesday advised Nigerians not to fall for the antics of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Fayose described Obasanjo's declaration of support for Buhari as a political somersault and a suicidal mission.
Fayose, in a statement in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, asked Nigerians to ignore Obasanjo because of his antecedent as a man who has penchant for deceiving people for his own political gains.
It will be recalled that Obasanjo at a book launch in Nairobi, Kenya on Tuesday declared support for Buhari, saying he has capacity to fight corruption that is killing the system.
"Leaving President Jonathan and vote for Buhari is like to abandon the road and enter the bush. God forbid we enter the forest which we may not come out for years. How can you follow somebody who because of old age is senile, but being propelled by his followers to fly the plane at all cost. Won't that plane crash?"

Obanikoro Disclaims Audio Recording on Ekiti Elections
Our attention has been drawn to an audio recording released on Thursday by Sahara Reporters, an online news website. In the audio recording, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro is presented as having a conversation alongside current Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, Senator Iyiola Omisore amongst other names purportedly identified by Sahara Reporters as participants in the said meeting.
But these are the facts:
1. That Senator Obanikoro wishes to state categorically and emphatically that you will never find him anywhere in the world talking about rigging an election in favour of anyone. The context of the conversation being reported by Sahara Reporters has been deliberately concocted, manipulated and misrepresented to achieve a predetermined narrative. Nowhere in the purported recording did Senator Obanikoro mention directly or indirectly a plan to rig the Ekiti State elections as the Sahara Reporters narrative suggests. So KORO admits he was at the meeting. |

Meanwhile, you can take another degree to correct that first 3rd class you are carrying PASS is not 3rd class, please learn the educational system very well. @op GPA doesn't matter in employment considering the different educational back grounds. So will pick a 4.00 from Unimed before a 3.90 from OAU or UNN? Please employers look for performers. |

How Obanikoro, Fayose, Chris Uba And Brig. General Momoh Rigged Ekiti Governorship Election In Collusion With The Nigerian Army The 37-minute recording details the conversation between these PDP leaders and politicians as they bribed Brigadier General Momoh with a promotion for his assistance in carrying out election fraud in Ekiti. In it, Obanikoro is clearly heard informing the group of men, “[I] am not here for a tea party, am on special assignment by the President.” .......The audio recordings and affidavit were provided by Sagir Koli, a Captain in the 32nd Artillery Brigade stationed in Ekiti State, who has since fled the country for fear of retaliation. Capt. Koli recorded the conversation on 20th June 2014 when he was asked to accompany his Commanding Officer, Brigadier General Aliyu Momoh, to the meeting. The venue was held at Spotless Hotel in Ado-Ekiti. The audio recordings depict the meeting as being attended by the eventual “winner” of the election, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti; Senator Iyiola Omisore; a man identified as Honorable Abdulkareem; the Minister for Police Affairs Caleb Olubolade; and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro who was at the time the Minister of State for Defence. Mr. Chris Uba came to Ekiti with huge stash cash and soldiers from the East to carry out the assignment. The 37-minute recording details the conversation between these men as they bribed Brigadier General Momoh with a promotion for his assistance in carrying out election fraud in Ekiti. In it, Obanikoro is clearly heard informing the group of men, “[I] am not here for a tea party, am on special assignment by the President.” SaharaReporters further received credible intelligence that President Goodluck Jonathan had instructed the Chief of Defense Staff, Alex Badeh, to use the army in arresting and intimidating opposition politicians before and during the election. The audio recording provides exact details of the plot, with the collaborators almost degenerating into physical combat. Authentication of Audio Recordings and Proof of Election Fraud The audio recordings were analyzed and authenticated by Guardian Consulting, an independent US-based security consulting company. According to a report authored by Guardian Consulting, also in the possession of SaharaReporters, the independent company used Forensic Voice Frequency Comparison technology to identify all voices on the recording with audio available in the public domain....... http://saharareporters.com/2015/02/05/how-obanikoro-fayose-chris-uba-and-brig-general-momoh-rigged-ekiti-governorship-election |
