High cost of Belgium grade makes Nigerians to keep recycling these rickety vehicles. How can people purchase a tokunbo vehicle averagely worth N8m in this present country. What is the earning power of the average. Before now, a teacher can afford Nigerian used cars , but now, not anymore. This high cost or level of inflation is even encouraging corruption and stealing. These people need to meet up. I Is it with their current salary as civil servant or daily wage as artisans? God help this country to get it right. Some fish pond owners are adamant to complain. If you complain, they will accuse you of jealousy. Though, the action was extreme and wicked. In my case, i share my fence with a fishpond farm. The owner is really nice, but gen being used is deafening, since it is located so close to the fence, and close to my apartment. There are so many occasions the gen comes up at 4.00am, while others at 5.00am. Besides, it is a diesel engine gen that makes that funny kind of sound like that of those roadside welders. We loose sleep immediately the gen comes up, and there will be this vibration in your eardrums. I am scared for my wife and children coming up with hearing challenge. This gen runs till like past 1pm. The manager of the farm doesn't even give a dam. The owner once built a protector to help reduce the sound, but was later removed, saying that it was not helping the gen. The owner don't live in the site of the fishpond, as he just built self contain for the manager. Please, i need good advice on how to manage these people without falling out with them. Of late, the manager has been given me attitude due to my incessant complain. I have also complained to the owner about the disturbing noice. Mind you, this is a residential area.

Our boreholes and water tanks got polluted, we started bathing with fish water. We begged for water from neighbors to use. It was really frustrating.

It is not the issue of not earning enough USD that is solely responsible for the freee fall of the naira. The key issue is regulation. There is no sincerity in the fiscal regulatory process. No sane country will you find merchants selling FOREX on the street. people with no visible need for usd will buy it and hurdle it or keep it for it to appreciate. Go to India, before you are given USD, you must show evidence of your travel or import need. Why would some vendors, hotels etc in Nigeria request for Usd payment, Why would Nigerian bank allow people to just open a Usd account and keep it idle just for capital gain. There are too many whys i could ask. There are so many african countries that are more import dependent than Nigeria, but they don't have this free fall of their currency.

We could earn more dollars by diversifying our economy, and , as former deputy CBN governor Moghalu has pointed out...by becoming a exporter of manufactured goods and services.

There is no need to fault your boss here. Appraisal can be from bottom to top (using your subordinates) to evaluate your performance on the job or your interpersonal skills. Evaluation can as well come from top to bottom (you the manager evaluates your subordinates. The better way your boss gets information about you is through your subordinates, who interact with you on a daily basis. Don't see it as witch hunt. Have an open mind to improve where ever weakness might be spotted out for improvement.

Good move by Tinubu. I expected him to do this earlier. The north are using food stuff to form a block and monopoly against the south. Just imagine how prices of essential goods coming from them sky-rocketed during Buhari time, and even recently. At a time, they unionized not to send food stuff to the south during the clash between some yorubas and hausas in Oyo state or thereabout, that Fani Kayode and Yahaya bello had to mediate. Beside, most of the seedlings, fertilizers and machineries are subsidized by the Federal govt of Nigeria, not to talk of grants/loans to them. Look at prices of local rice, cement, beans, etc how they have nose dived. Is the dollar responsible for their rise? They are free to go to Niger republic or chad to bring food, but the south west cannot go to Benin republic to do same, otherwise, Nigeria custom will go after them.
