The number of cars on the road doing Uber/Bolt is getting more than the total passengers available for a ride and that only means a decline in price per ride or total take home due to supply eclipsing demand.

There's always an entry and exit time for every job. If people you the challenges they face in their place of work you wouldn't want to work but sit at home and expect manner to fall from the sky while you languish in abject poverty.

Look at the good side of every thing in life, set a target, hit your target, plan you retirement and exit when you feel its time.

Few years ago, my income as a subject teacher was 30 to 35k, excluding home tutorial etc that sometimes push it to 80k to 100k depending on the number of clients.

My point exactly is, you are not old to start anything.
During the covid era, I stopped working and decided to start my own business with less than 200k+ in my savings. Nice one, what business are you into?
Thank God, the plan went accordingly and today I don't even look like what I have been through.
My worth is over 1000 percent of what I had only account when I started making the plan and putting it into action excluding the savings.

Note: I already pass the age of 30 before I switched from working for others to owning my own business.

I started as a website designer in 2012 I used to charged 80k on the average.

I was never out of job cos I have my posters everywhere in the city of Abuja and my SEO was top notch.

The highest I ever charged was 200k, only 150k was paid.

The last website I did was around 2017. Ordinary static website could take up to 6month.

Also some newbies decided to spoil the market and were offering wedsites for 30k. So when you tell someone to pay 120k and they tell you it is cheaper with someone else, I simply tell them, please work with that person.

I'm into some other business now and I'm doing fine.

Mine was 1 million seed capital for investment and now.

Why do you guys like to make terrible general conclusions like this? All those trucks and trailers loading goods in one location and offloading it in another location everyday, are the owners throwing them into the sea or something?
If you know what you are doing, with this our population of over 200 million people, you should know the kind of business to venture into. Remember, we're a consuming nation!



Find a good location and move into distribution of FMCG (fast moving consumers goods), 5m naira is not bad for a start.
