You have a very valid point. But then, the question is; would you allow your son to marry a man? Would you be happy if your brother married a man? How would you feel if your father divorced your mother and then married a man to be your step-mother? Would you be proud to point to your father and say "that's my father" and then point to the man beside him and say "that's my mother?"

You might feel you are not affected but then, you are. Everybody is affected. Even if you don't marry a man, how would you explain it to your children that the two "uncles" living in the neighbourhood are husband and wife? The bottom line is: a man should marry a woman and vice-versa. If all men married men and all women married women, we all could have never been born.

PS: i hope you do not take offence in me mentioning your father, divorce and son. I only wanted to drive home my point.

For your information, the 1st wife may be unhappy, but the 2nd wife as well as the man, are definitely very happy. So whose happiness matters most? The 1st wife who is in the minority, or the husband and his 2nd wife, who constitute the majority??
