A movie that tries to depict the primitive period when men lived in caves,huge animals(extinct) roamed the earth,curiosity was at it's rudimentary stage(Eep was a teenager and curiosity is common among teenagers even today),manmade fire was just invented at the time and had power aided by the fear of it.(this can also be seen in Disney Mowgli),Earthquakes and continental splits occurred etc.
This movie is a gem as it is not only hilarious but urges one to be curious.To stop living in caves(the safe place we are satisfied and familiar with) and come out of the shadows and explore the world(to be curious about everything and seek knowledge).
If there's anything you should be accusing it of,it should the contradictions it has with the biblical representation of what of occurred after humans were created(It favours the scientific version) and not the points you've mentioned.
You should be accused of advertising this movie which I commend you for.I hope everyone that watches it has a good laugh.

Now, I based my points on just how much development was happening or had occurred in a civilization and how religious they were during that period hence my reference to Egypt and Greece. This was to show just how much religion can be insignificant when it comes to development.
I stated that Christianity catalyzed the development of certain countries in Africa or is it only Nigeria,Egypt,Morocco etc that are in Africa? You chose to understand it that way.Anyways formal education in Nigeria was historically introduced by the missionary schools during the colonial years.Till today FOLYKAZE,Twin children are still killed.
You blame Islam/Christianity for the actions of humans if its bad regardless of how much religious influence was involved in that action,so why can't you accept it's pros too regardless of the religious influence.You gainsay the developments that Christianity through colonials brought because of it's "origins" (which may have been introduced in a very religious country at the time) but fail to see that it has nothing to do with the initial question.Africa is not one or two countries.

I can spend all day mentioning how Christianity through colonials catalyzed the development of certain African countries but colonialism isn't something one should be proud of.Mind you,Egypt was once a world power and a religious one with advancements in science,technology,medicine and education that are foundations of the science, technology,medicine,philosophy and education we see in the modern ages.Greece was once a religious country and before the time of Socrates which marked the dawn of modern day philosophy,they had developed remarkably.
I still don't why you would associate religion with progress or development.It is humans that use religion for the wrong reasons through personal and selfish interests.Every cause is subject to human influence whether good or bad ,religion included.You can't disassociate the human condition from religion and while there are folks who do good for religious reasons,there are those that do wrong for religious reasons within the same religion.
Stupidity and ignorance is a human condition we have to deal with in all spheres of life and you can't just erase it by attacking religion.I would agree with anyone that suggests that religion should be used to educate the masses through religious teachings and leadersbut then my question is just how many people are willing to ask,seek and find knowledge for themselves?.I attended a church where the preacher was talking about science even tho it had a religious undertone.The facial expressions I saw when I looked around made me was pathetic and proof of how apathetic people are towards knowledge and philosophy.The problem is much deeper than religion bruv.

This is one of the problems I'm having with the bible.The use of later verses to justify the beginning or add more information to the beginning.The serpent was never portrayed as the devil until much later.The new testament verses by Paul only seeks to justify the omniscience of God but contradicts his omnibenevolence because how can a God know what was best from the beginning but tarried until a much later time to redeem man unto himself? Why wasn't Jesus sent during the days of Noah to show them signs and wonders that they may believe and harden their hearts like he did pharaoh and the Jews that they be blinded from the truth and crucify him then? Using later verses as a reference to understand God's purpose from the beginning is not acceptable by me.

I disagree with you because not all God commands is beneficial to nature and humans if we are using commandments found in major religious books as an objective paradigm.
Burnt offerings weren't beneficial to nature in respect to the climate and animal life.Death of all first born sons of Egyptians wasn't beneficial to humanity on account of favouritism of a particular people.Almost obliterating all of the nature because of one species isn't beneficial to creation.Job.So "God said" is not all good or beneficial to creation.
