During the just concluded 2015 election. Sokoto state NYSC only paid some corpers 4k (feeding&Transport allowance) for just the presidential election,but refused to pay the feeding and transport allowance for governorship election and till now has not paid most corp members for both election exercise.
After requesting from INEC that all payment should be forwarded to NYSC Sokoto as they prefer that corpers should recieve their payments through the NYSC office Sokoto.
This has led to the commotion of payments(federal and INEC allowance),reason being that NYSC Sokoto out of carelessness paid some corpers including the outgone batch A (who did not participate in the exercise due to the postponement of election),serving corpers who did not participate in the execise,ex-corpers and only a few corp member who participated,which means; owing about 75% of corpers in Sokoto who participated in the election. Their INEC allowance and the 3k for the feeding and transportation of the gubernatorial election,these yet to be paid.
NYSC Sokoto has now on THEIR WILL decided to deduct the sum of N3,000.00 from the monthly federal allowance of corp members to cover for this mistake (as money paid to the outgone/ex-copers can never be recovered and money to pay corpers who were involved in the election exercise has nowhere to come from) believing corpers have NO CHOICE than to accept this developement which was as a result of their carelessness.
This is to inform the DG and FG that we the corp members in Sokoto are not satisfied with this developement and the excuses involved.

I am sure a lot of the APC fans are ready to crucify Mr. President on his statement about the 2.5million lead which came from the north.
I was opportuned to be one of the officiating INEC officer of a pooling unit in one of the northern states and many others from that end will tell you there was no free and fair election from the north.

The north is one of the most and if not the most populated states in Nigeria,and most of the citizens can neither speak english,read or write,they do not even know the logo,wether it be for PDP or APC or APGA...they where always told to vote their own(Buhari has always won in the north). If you are civilized as you claim to be,then your question should be-HOW DID THEY VOTE WHAT THEY DONT UNDERSTAND!

Another question you should ask-HOW COME THIS PEOPLE COME OUT IN MASSES AND UNDERAGED.
As the most populous state,the poorverty rate is 90%poor :10%rich,the poor only listen to money(and the rich don't want that to CHANGE anyway).it is most difficult for the poor here in the north to survive without begging.If i can explain what i mean clearly...N5.00 means so much to the poor here in the north. Now we all know the election is over,a northerner is on sit,Gej as from the minority is on his way back home, they was technical and massive rigging in the north.

From experience,THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOFIN TO BE AFRAID OF,you are safe n fine and they appreciate corp members until you misbehave.
Your camp is in wamako LGA(one of d cutest places in Sok-Town(sokoto) you'll uderstand this after 3months of stay(dats where d BIGBOYS live).
The state is as civilized as any other state and its the safest place to be in the north(security like anywhere else) but very quiet in social life,although,there is a nite club,drinking spots,pool 4 d hot times,and beautiful ladies. The only problem with all of these is; whatever you do must be @ the barest minimum(it is the city of caliphate,they see social life as a crime...SHARIA. mind my spellings if u wish).
You get all fone networks in Nigeria,except ur sent 2 to Illelah,some part of Isa n Sabonbrini LGA,where u use the orange network and share borders with Niger,and dats also fine.
Transportation,Food,housing,clothes,shoes are very cheap...depending.
Your PPA gives u accommodation n you can live off-lodge if you like.
