Uncle mi, I live in New York. Law enforcement would violate your privacy whether in covert or overt operation. It is only lawyers that can determine the violation in the kotu of law. There are different spy technics they use and its all depends on who and what they dealing with. What Pantami and Buhari administration is doing is nothing compared to what US citizens go through. US govt can spy on you without you knowing anything for years. You should thank God that Nigerian govt was transparent in this case. They didn't have to tell citizens about this at all.

Pantami's case is clearly devilish and criminal in nature. If you would provide me a case of any sane country that shares its citizens data with another without any sinister motive.

Pantami is govt official. Didn't I show you guys that GEJ did the same?. And yes, some elements within western countries do share citizens data with another countries even govt itself does. Why do you think Trump was asking Nigerians data?.

While it is not uncommon for government to monitor calls and texts under the pretext of security purposes, it is a clear violation of our privacy.

It is undemocratic to enlist Nigeria in any external association or union without the approval of the NASS. In a saner clime, Pantami should be cooling off his ass behind the bar.

You think western govts don't monitor domestic and international calls?. You guys need to wake up and smell the coffee. What NIGERIA is doing right now is done by United States and other western countries. If you don't know go and do your simply research.

No doubt, there is a very strong possibility (which I am aligned with) concerning Pre-Adamic Man and his development into the "Perfect Adamic Man" of the present, due to the verses:
Q32:09... the trigger word for me is (sawaahu)

these mean to establish, to make even, perfect, uniform, etc...and this period that was used to achieve the perfection is known to Allah, but it is a clear pointer that a period was involved from Pre-Adamaic to Perfect Adamic, hence Allah's pointing to man's lack of gratitude or not using his sense of reason.

In most cases we just read Quran mechanically without pondering on the Ayat until someone triggers our reasoning. We also tend to assume the many tafasir are 100% forgetting they were human beings and gave their best shot. We are not supposed to pull up where they stopped.. Rather we should continue with our research. As Sheikh Imran Hussein and Sheikh Hamza Yusuf once said, "Islam is to be understood with time". "Quran can not be translated". Am telling you we don't understand and can never understand Qur'an fully. When issue like this is raised, many tend to disagree and revile. As time goes we look back and return to Quran. This Sheikh Ahmed Shorinola's explanation makes it clearer to me than former shuyukh. Tafsir is not wahy but ijtihad.

Yeah, I also heard and read tafsirs concerning the angels' concerns as a reference to the "rebellious jinns" on earth then...

What most tafasir usually came up with was pre-Adamic creation were jinns. That, when Angels replied Allah that "are you going to place in Earth a people that would commit fasad?".

This means there existed some creation that angels were aware of before Adam(as). Most Tafsir said they were jinn but they are not necessarily correct. I read contrary option from Muslim and nonmuslim scientists few years ago. They concluded by saying "let's just leave it so as not to confuse people". They doubted it was jinns but humans. He is quite vast and I really enjoyed his level of deductive reasoning.
I am still on the fence regarding his saying that the former man before prophet Adam (A.S.) were cannibals and could neither hear, see or use their faculty of reasoning; and he supported that with ayah from surah Mulk Q67:23.
He said they used some other form of sensory perception, which is very possible...
In all, he laid out his reasons for his positions on a lot of issues and I did not feel he was swayed by unwarranted emotions; which is good.
