Rendezvou:
[s]Mr. Empire, read John 14:7-11. Chapter 9 ...he that hath seen me hath seen the father... I'll not bother you with several of such statements by Jesus. It seems to me that you are derailing this thread. Please create a new thread for your arguement and kindly deal on the comparison between Jesus and Muhammad as outlined in the op.[/s]
Too late for that.

Christianity Etc › Re: Top Ten Signs You're A Fundamentalist Christian by Empiree:
This is how far christians blasphemed against this great messanger of God. Ridiculous! Sacrilege!

And they came up with bogus claims that Jesus wanted to die for them, it's for atonement bla bla bla

In Islam, this is considered blasphemy. Quran revered Jesus son of Mary so much: HOLY QURAN

"..WE GAVE JESUS THE SON OF MARY CLEAR SIGNS AND STRENGTHENED HIM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT"2:87

"..O MARY! GOD GIVETH THEE GLAD TIDINGS OF A WORD FROM HIM: HIS NAME WILL BE CHRIST JESUS, THE SON OF MARY.."3:45

"..CHRIST JESUS THE SON OF MARY WAS (NO MORE THAN) AN APOSTLE OF GOD.."4:171

"..AND IN THEIR (the previous Prophets') FOOTSTEPS WE SENT JESUS THE SON OF MARY.."5:49

"AND ZAKARIYA AND JOHN, AND JESUS AND ELIAS: ALL IN THE RANKS OF THE RIGHTEOUS:"6:85

JESUS - HIS TITLES

Though Jesus is mentioned by name in twenty-five places in the Holy Quran he is also addressed with respect as:"Ibn Maryam" - son of Mary;as Masi (Heb) Messiah - translated as Christ; "Abd-ullah" servant of Allah;"Rasul -Ullah" - Messenger of Allah.

He is spoken of as "the word of God", as "the spirit of God", as a "Sign of God", and numerous other epithets of honor spread over fifteen different chapters. The Holy Qur'an honors this mighty Messenger of God, and the Muslims have not fallen short over the past fourteen hundred years in doing the same. There is not a single disparaging remark in the entire Qur'an to which even the most jaundiced among the Christians can take exception.

Qur'an even denied his crucifixion. This refutes curse allegation pronounced on him (Jesus) by Christians.

Qur'an 4:157
"That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the apostle of Allah"; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety, they killed him not."

Now that christian have conjoined 3-headed-gods in 1, these gods are visible and "real". But the true word of God recorded in the Bible and Quran say we can not see God Almighty

Bible:
John 1:18 - "No man hath seen God at any time;..."

Quran:
No vision can grasp Him, but His Grasp is over all vision. He is the Most Subtle and Courteous, WellAcquainted with all things. 6:103

Even Bible and Quran go further to say that we not supposed to worship something we carved by ourselves

Quran:
"Do you worship what you have carved yourself?" (37:95)

Bible:
"You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below." Exodus 20:4

Exodus 34:17
"Do not make any idols."

Technically, Christians (at least most part) including AllNaijaBlogger now worship 2 other gods with God almighty. Some also worship image of holy Mary and cross of crucifixion. But your Bible warned you against this:

“You shall have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3

FAST FORWARD.....
God should be all powerful, invincible, omnipotent, omniscience, all knowing etc. But Jewish fanatics were not too comfortable with him. After they got tired of his b*llsh*t, they grabbed him, beat the crap out of him and nailed his A$$ on the cross according to their own Bible

And Paul maintains:

1 Corinthians 1:23 "...but we preach Christ crucified:"

The Bible is clear in saying Jesus was crucified at Calvary.

Matthew 27:35 "When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots."

Additionally, the Bible is clear that Jesus was cursed.

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole."

And while he was suffering from agonies of death, he cried loud to his god? but there were already 3-headed gods and now he's crying out to another God on the cross?. I thought he should be invincible to begin with?. With so much power he possessed GOD THE FATHER, THE SON, THE HOLY GHOST, his own creation could easily nailed him. Fantastic!

And Christians know too well that this nonsense from their book is bogus....that's why their "jesus" gave them middle finger(see below). You know what middle finger stands for, don't you.

AllNaijaBlogger , is this what you want me to worship? haba! I can't. You have to renounce christianity.

It was paul who engineered this. He proctored Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. He asked them: "how many gods are there?" i:e god+jesus+holy spirit?. These bright fellas quickly answered "3" but paul rebuked them. He said god+jesus+holy spirit is allegorical. Mathew, Mark, Luke and John be like "sir, but they are three". Paul said "believe as I said".

Mathew, Mark, Luke and John asked 'how do we explain this mystery to church goers, sir?'. Paul said just tell them that they can not understand unless and until they first of all have holy spirit in them. This has since been Mathew, Mark, Luke and John's phenomenon that; 1+1+1=1.

They are now 3-headed gods forged and documented by these fellas proctored by Paul.

John 17:21

Despite God Almighty Made It Clear, Simple And Precise That He's One

Qur'an:

He is God the One God, 112

"There is nothing whatever like unto Him."[Al-Qur’an 42:11]

16:51 - ALLAH has proclaimed: "Do not worship two gods; there is only one god..."

21:25 - We did not send any messenger before you except with inspiration: "There is no god except Me; you shall worship Me alone."

47:19 - You shall know that: "There is no other god beside ALLAH"

Old Testament & New Testament:

Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

"O Lord, there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You" 1 Chronicles 17:20

""The foremost is, 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one [hen] Lord; " Mark 12:29

"I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me" Isaiah 46:9

"Now a mediator is not for one party only; whereas God is only one [hen]." Galatians 3:20

"You are the God, You alone [bad], of all the kingdoms of the earth." 2 Kings 19:15

"Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me." Isaiah 43:10

"there is no God but one [hen]" 1 Corinthians 8:4

All of a sudden, some dudes like Paul, Mathew, Mark, Luke and John claimed otherwise. They deceived people that God renounced power to His son and eventually conjoined to form 2-gods in one. God is now powerless according to them.

John 10:30
"I and the Father are one."

Exactly as shown below.

Ahmediyya was the last prophet of Islam. .the seal of the seal of Islamic prophets.. Dude u have abrogated some verses here on nairaland perhaps u are the seal of the seal that sealed the seal of prophets. .
You are really losing it. Ahmadiyya is not a person. It's a movement founded by Mirzā Ghulām Ahmad (Died, 26 May 1908). He was rejected by contemporary as well as many Muslims. He is considered heretic by some and declared kufar by others.

There is no prophet after prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him). Anyone who believes otherwise is not recognized as a Muslim. Not only did Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed to be last prophet, he also claimed to be fulfillment of return of Jesus (peace be upon him).

But he failed to realize that his name is Mirza Ghulam Ahmad son of Punjabi woman. But Quran and Hadith talk about Jesus the son of Mary. How could Ghulam be last prophet when he's not even recognized by many. He was simply a dude from British India. But Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (peace be upon him) was sent to the whole world.

"We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but as a universal (Messenger) to men giving them glad tidings and warning them (against sin) but most men understand not." (Quran: 34/28)

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) was the seal of prophets:

"Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing." (Quran: 33/40)

"Narrated Sad: Allah's Apostle set out for Tabuk. appointing 'Ali as his deputy (in Medina). 'Ali said, 'Do you want to leave me with the children and women?' The Prophet said, 'Will you not be pleased that you will be to me like Aaron to Moses? But there will be no prophet after me.' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Book 59, Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (peace be upon him) (Al-Maghaazi), Volume 5, Number 700)"

Anyone who claims to be a prophet after Muhammad(peace be upon him) is a liar. Prophet Muhammad have said:

"In My Ummah (Islamic Nation), there shall be born Thirty Grand Liars (Dajjals), each of whom will claim to be a prophet, But I am the Last Prophet; there is No Prophet after Me. (Abu Dawood Vol 2 p. 228; Tirmidhi Vol 2 p.45)"

"Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, 'The Israelis used to be ruled and guided by prophets: Whenever a prophet died, another would take over his place. There will be no prophet after me, but there will be Caliphs who will increase in number.' The people asked, 'O Allah's Apostle! What do you order us (to do)?' He said, 'Obey the one who will be given the pledge of allegiance first. Fulfill their (i.e. the Caliphs) rights, for Allah will ask them about (any shortcoming) in ruling those Allah has put under their guardianship.' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 661)"

Apparently Dajjāl is upon u this is why u lie without remorse..
It's time for you to bow. You have lost arguments with us shamelessly. You have no idea what Dajjal is. It's high time you come to Islam and follow prophet Muhammad(Allah's peace and blessings be upon him).

"We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but as a universal (Messenger) to men giving them glad tidings and warning them (against sin) but most men understand not." (Quran: 34/28)

"Say (O Muhammad to mankind): ‘If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’ Say (O Muhammad): ‘Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad).’ But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers." (Quran: 3/31)

"O mankind! Verily, there has come to you the Messenger (Muhammad) with the truth from your Rabb (Sustainer, Lord). So believe in him, it is better for you. But if you disbelieve, then certainly to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise." (Quran: 4/170)

“Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (p.b.u.h.) said, ‘By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, he amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me; but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent (i.e., Islam) and dies in his state (of disbelief), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire.’” (Muslim 1/ 284)

Mr eschatology na u sabi.

This is the third time muslims will be invading europe en-mass. The first two were on military expedition and were soundly beaten and expelled back to north africa and arab land. What makes you think they wont be deported en-mass when push comes to shove.

Muslims' claim of escathology by invading foreign lands and conqurring and subjugating them can only work in weak africa and asia countries. In america and europe, they will soon be expelled as usual.

Radical groups like PEGIDA, EDL, and other far-right groups are already voicing their concern on uncontrolled muslim immigrations into their country. With the right govt in place, the inlux will be pushed back into their islamic hell-holes. Austrialia had already started it, austria is regulating islamic activities now, Germans are not happy with muslims, native british are against muslims and new mosques, americans are against muslim migrations.

No sane country trust muslims\Islam anymore. The usual mantra that 'only small % of muslims are radicals', 'Islam isthe religion of peace', 'you cant place 1.5billion muslims in one basket', 'they have hijacked our religion' and other excuses are no longer working.

If muslims don't adjust, the will soon be expelled again.

The hadith you post indicated that the angel revealed the revelation with violence conducts,isn't it strange to you that only muhammed this angel acts violence on? Angel Gabriel appear to Mary zackaria there is no mention of violence or the angel press the receiver so hard.now take for example this incident in both the bible and quran;

Mizanul MizanuŸl Haqq, page 345:
“After an accession of shivering and
shutting his eyes, there used to come
over him what resembled a swoon,
his FACE WOULD FOAM and he would
ROAR LIKE A YOUNG CAMEL.”

Comperd it with this devil possessed man in the bible;

Mark 9:20: “So they brought him.
When the spirit saw Jesus, it
immediately threw the boy into a
convulsion. He fell to the ground and
rolled around, FOAMiNG at the
mouth.”

Even the people do not trust his revelation so they called he(muhammed) a mad man;

Surah 15:6: “And they say: O thou
unto whom the Reminder is revealed,
lo! Thou art indeed a
MADMAN” (Pickthall)

Read this other two incident in both the bible and quran,both men were possessed by evil spirit and wanted to commit suicide;

Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah:
So I (Muhammad) read it, and he
(Gabriel) departed from me. And I
awoke from my sleep, and it was as
though these words were written on
my heart. Now none of God’s
creatures was more horrible to me
than a poet or a man possessed: I
could not even look at them. I
thought, “Woe is me poet or
possessed - Never shall Quraysh say
this of me! I will go to the top of the
MOUNTAIN AND THROW MYSELF DOWN
that I may KILL MYSELF and gain rest.”

Here we see muhammed wanted to kill himself because the devil impassonated angel possessed muhammed,same thing happened to a man who was possessed by evil spirit;

Mark 5:5-9: And when Jesus had
come out of the boat, immediately
there met him out of the tombs a
man with an UNCLEAN SPIRIT…And
always, night and day, he was in the
mountains and in the tombs, CRYING
OUT AND CUTING HIMSELF WITH STONE.
For He (Jesus) said to him, ”Come out
of the man, unclean spirit!”

infacte I do you guys some favour in keeping some devilish teaching in the quran.

Bible and violence

Ra'anan S. Boustan states that "violence can be found throughout the pages of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament." Philip Jenkins describes the Bible as overflowing with "texts of terror".
Supersessionist Christians focus on violence in the Old Testament while ignoring or giving little attention to violence in the New Testament

Christian violence

Among common examples of violence in Christianity, J. Denny Weaver lists "(the) crusades, the multiple blessings of wars, warrior popes, support for capital punishment, corporal punishment under the guise of 'spare the rod and spoil the child,' justifications of slavery, world-wide colonialism in the name of conversion to Christianity, the systemic violence of women subjected to men". In the view of many historians, the Constantinian shift turned Christianity from a persecuted into a persecuting religion. Miroslav Volf has identified the intervention of a "new creation", as in the Second Coming, as a particular aspect of Christianity that generates violence. Writing about the latter, Volf says:

"Beginning at least with Constantine's conversion, the followers of the Crucified have perpetrated gruesome acts of violence under the sign of the cross. Over the centuries, the seasons of Lent and Holy Week were, for the Jews, times of fear and trepidation; Christians have perpetrated some of the worst pogroms as they remembered the crucifixion of Christ, for which they blamed the Jews. Muslims also associate the cross with violence; crusaders' rampages were undertaken under the sign of the cross."

The statement attributed to Jesus "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword" has been interpreted by some as a call to arms for Christians.[20] Mark Juergensmeyer argues that "despite its central tenets of love and peace, Christianity—like most traditions—has always had a violent side. The bloody history of the tradition has provided images as disturbing as those provided by Islam or Sikhism, and violent conflict is vividly portrayed in the Bible. This history and these biblical images have provided the raw material for theologically justifying the violence of contemporary Christian groups. For example, attacks on abortion clinics have been viewed not only as assaults on a practice that Christians regard as immoral, but also as skirmishes in a grand confrontation between forces of evil and good that has social and political implications."[20]:19–20, sometimes referred to as Spiritual warfare.

Historically, according to René Girard, Christianity embraced violence when it became the state religion of Rome: "Beginning with Constantine, Christianity triumphed at the level of the state and soon began to cloak with its authority persecutions similar to those in which the early Christians were victims."

Holy war

The Biblical account of Joshua and the Battle of Jericho has been used to justify genocidal Holy war, including war waged on one Christian sect by another.[22]:3 Chirot also interprets 1 Samuel 15:1-3 as "the sentiment, so clearly expressed, that because a historical wrong was committed, justice demands genocidal retribution."[22]:7–8 Just war theory, on the other hand, is a doctrine of military ethics of Roman philosophical and Catholic origin[23][24] studied by moral theologians, ethicists, and international policy makers, that holds that a conflict can and ought to meet the criteria of philosophical, religious or political justice, provided it follows certain conditions.

Democide: counts those who died not through war or street crime but through the wilful in/action of government, like genocide or Mao’s Great Leap Forward.

Christian democides of a million or more (does not count communist democides):

1958-1987: Pakistan: 1.5m
1983-2005: Sudan: 1.9m Nuer, Dinka, Christians, Nuba, etc

Christians have killed eight times more people in democides than Muslims: 76.5 million compared to 9.3 million. Almost the same rate as for war.

The mistake here lies not in the numbers but in the words “Christian” and “Muslim”. Sometimes religion is a cause – or at least an excuse – like in the bombings by Christian extremist Eric Rudolph or the genocide in Sudan. But most often it is not. Calling, say, the 9/11 terrorists “Muslim” is like calling Hitler “Christian”: true yet misleading. It is Islamophobia, not a serious attempt to understand the world as it is.

What’s a slave?

Part of the problem is historical context. Most contemporary people think of slaves as people condemned to a lifetime of bondage, working on plantations and being whipped like oxen.

That kind of slavery did exist during the lives of Moses, Jesus and the Prophet Mohammad. Many slaves were prisoners of war; concubines, gladiators, laborers in salt mines. They could be killed, raped and discarded at any moment.

Yet there were layers of slavery in the ancient world. Many slaves would be seen today as indentured servants, or people trying to pay off debts; royal bodyguards and entrepreneurs, historians say.

Sometimes the slaves became masters. In medieval Egypt, Muslim rulers trained and educated slaves to be their bodyguards. One group of slaves grew so powerful that they overthrew the rulers of Egypt and established their own dynasty, says Ali Asani, a professor of Indo-Muslim and Islamic Languages and Culture at Harvard University.

“Slavery meant different things in different cultures,” Asani says. “There wasn’t always this sense of powerlessness and oppression. In certain forms, it became an access to power.”

Why did Jesus and Paul not condemn slavery?

I already asked why didnt Paul, Mathew , Mark, Luke and John abolish slavery on these threads:
https://www.nairaland.com/2161012/lets-take-look-slavery-contained/3#down
https://www.nairaland.com/2153126/top-ten-signs-youre-fundamentalist/5

Nowhere in the New Testament will you find a condemnation of slavery, nor an updating of the Mosaic slave code. Instead you have stuff like Ephesians 6 where slaves are told to be “obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling”; and Philemon, where Paul sends back a runaway slave to his Christian owner. Jesus does not raise a word against the practice.
How can this be? If slavery is a human evil, how can the Master and his servants have had nothing to say against it?
Therein lies the answer. For Jesus and Paul, the master-servant (= slave) relationship was both a fact of life (not dissimilar to employer-employee, father-son) and a sign of all our client relationships with God. Jesus uses this relationship in the parable of the faithful steward (Luke 12:43-48):

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing [acting faithfully].
Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Here the Christian becomes the vilicus, or houshold steward (still a slave; think of Joseph in Potiphar’s house); Christ is the absent paterfamilias who will return to reward or punish him according to his faithfulness.
For Jesus and Paul then, because we all live in a client relationship (God-Man; or better, Christ-Christian), extending that relationship to human interactions is not morally problematic. As such, slavery requires no condemnation for we are all slaves. All that remains is for slaves to “fear” their masters; and for masters (who are not the real masters, only the stewards), to not beat their slaves and otherwise act like delinquents.
Moral? Even Jesus’ words in the New Testament are wedded to their time.

1110-1918: Ottoman Empire: 3.9m
