Even though the internet slow for me at moment couldn't make me load your site. I tried refreshing, but couldn't open yet. However, I would have preferred you build this kind of app as mobile based (android or iOS); it would have been easier for users to have it on their phones rather than login to website to manage all those things personal to individual need. Anyway, once more I will try later to open it. You can try to see if it is easier to adapt to mobile and let data be store on their phone internal memory with backup online. But if it is not easy to adapt, you have nothing to worry about. Just conclude your work and advertise well and better with screenshots to move people. Well done and good luck
this is good feedback. thank you. we'll surely make a mobile app in the nearest future, for now this is a minimum viable product as a web app. do let me know how the onboarding experience is when you sign up.
ProgrammingI Built Renwize, A Smart And Simple Subscription Tracker App by Encoredme(op):
I’ve been building a small project called Renwize, a web app that helps people keep track of all their subscriptions (Netflix, Spotify, Canva, Apple One, ChatGPT, etc.) and sends reminders before renewal dates.

It started with my own frustration over losing money to auto-renewals I had forgotten about. I’d wake up to debit alerts from subscriptions I hadn’t planned to continue. So I decided to build something simple:

Key Features:

- Add and manage all your subscriptions in one dashboard
- Get email or WhatsApp reminders before billing dates
- Works with ₦ and $, with real-time conversion
- “Remind me to cancel” toggle for trial-based subscriptions
- Clean, minimalist interface (built with Bubble.io, APIs)

I’m currently testing it with early users and adding new features weekly (recently fixed the dollar conversion bug and integrated MailerSend for email notifications).

Would love to get feedback from fellow devs here - especially around:

- Pricing model ideas (freemium vs one-time payment?)
- Suggestions for scaling backend workflows efficiently in Bubble
- Any features you think Nigerian users would really want

You can check it out here: https://renwize.com

Built 100% in Nigeria - feedback and constructive criticism welcome!

I’ve been working on a small project called Renwize. It helps you keep track of all your subscriptions in one dashboard and sends reminders before renewals, so you don’t get surprised by unwanted charges.

You can:
• Add subscriptions (like Netflix, Spotify, Apple One, etc.)
• Get email or WhatsApp reminders before billing dates
• Track spending in ₦ or $ (real-time conversion)
• Toggle “Remind me to cancel” for trial plans (coming soon)

I recently fixed a dollar conversion bug and added MailerSend email integration, so it’s getting smoother!

Would love some honest feedback on the user experience and onboarding flow.

EducationRe: FGC Ijanikin, Lagos Students Lodge Colleagues In Hotels For Sex Romps by Encoredme(m): 5:57pm On Jan 04, 2023
There are several steps that the school could take to manage the situation and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future:

1. Increase supervision and monitoring of students: The school could increase the number of staff members responsible for supervising and monitoring students, particularly boarders, to ensure that they are not sneaking out of school or engaging in inappropriate activities.

2. Implement a stricter code of conduct: The school could revise its code of conduct to clearly outline the expectations for student behaviour and the consequences for violating these expectations. This could include stricter penalties for students who engage in sexual or drug-related activities.

3. Provide education and support: The school could provide education and support to students to help them make healthy and responsible decisions. This could include age-appropriate sex education, as well as resources for students struggling with drug addiction.

4. Improve communication with parents: The school could improve communication with parents to keep them informed about any incidents that occur and the steps being taken to address them. This could help to build trust and support between the school and parents.

5. Address any underlying issues: It is important for the school to consider any underlying issues that may be contributing to the inappropriate behaviour of students. This could include addressing any problems with the school culture or addressing any issues related to student mental health or well-being.

I asked ChatGPT what it thinks OP should do and here is what it said:

It is important for the poster to consider their own feelings and needs in this situation. If the poster feels that their wife's job and the decision to live in the barracks are causing undue strain on their marriage and they would prefer for their wife to resign or find a new job, they should communicate this to their wife and try to come to a compromise or resolution. It is also important for the couple to address any underlying issues in their relationship, such as the emotional affair and lack of communication, in order to improve their relationship and move forward. It may be helpful for the couple to seek the guidance of a therapist or counsellor to work through these challenges and improve their relationship.

nice one @OP
Well, there's no wrong or right career. I have noticed that we downplayed the role of passion a lot. A popular musician today could have just done well in a professional career but passion drive them into music anyways, so also for football.
I studied accounting, practiced briefly and I told myself boy, this is not what you want to do for the rest of your life.
Does it mean people are not enjoying accounting? No. But if they've got no passion for it then they most likely won't remain there too.
I have my good colleague who just finished his Masters in Economics, but believe me he's currently learning software development at Decagon. I suspect he's not enjoying Economics too. Or should we say he's being candid with himself that tech is breaking barriers and it's the future.
I quite agree with you. Sometimes it is the passion for something new and different that compels people to switch careers. Other times they are bored and plain tired of their current career and they want something new. While for some others like me, it is the financial incentive.

I'm a no-code/Bubble.io developer. I've built a good number of applications such as job boards, marketplaces, customer management software among others. No-code is a way to build software without writing code by using drag and drop applications.
Jobs/VacanciesAre You In The Wrong Career? Here’s How To Tell And What To Do About It by Encoredme(op): 4:14pm On Oct 25, 2021
If you're not happy with your career, it's hard to pinpoint what you might want to do instead. But as long as the job gives you a sense of purpose and fulfilment, sticking around may be the best option for now.

Here's how to figure out if you're in the wrong career, and what to do next.
1. Look for careers that are similar to your current job
If you're not happy with what you do, it's tempting to assume there must be something wrong with the career. But sometimes, it's simply the job itself that you don't like. If you start to look at other careers that are similar to what you currently do, you might find one that strikes a chord with what you want to do next. Do some research on the internet and talk to any contacts you may have in that space to get an idea of what the career is like in reality.

2. Consider taking a course in something related to your field
Many careers are not directly related to what you studied or do now. There may be other opportunities that are more aligned with your interests but have less of an obvious connection with the job you have now. It might be worth looking at a course that is related to your current job, even though it's not directly related to the field you do now.

3. Take a vacation from work and try something new
It may be just that you need a break from the constant activities and tasks of your job to experience something new and different. It may be the catalyst you need to find a more interesting career path or give you a stronger connection to your job.
If you're in your job because you feel trapped, it might be time to take a break from the routine. Try taking one month off and trying something new. For example, if you have been working for two years as a product designer at a tech company and have gotten quite used to the monotony of the job, taking a vacation will do a lot of wonders to reawaken your senses and make work exciting again.

4. Find out about other careers that you might like
Another way to find a new career is by finding out what others who do similar jobs do and their salary compared with yours. If you want to become an architect, for example, there are public forums you can ask to know what architects earn and if it is a good decision to make a career switch.

In conclusion, don't be afraid to ask for help when you feel stuck. Seek someone experienced that you can talk to and who is willing to guide you in making the right decisions.
