Ay111: I recall d first concotion I made...dat was in my first year in d University, in Angola hall. Despite Being a novice @ cooking, I attempted cooking rice n beans with stew den. I boiled the rice nd beans quite alright. Wen it came to preparing the stew, I poured groundnut oil into d frying pan, allowed it to get heated up for a while, after which I just added raw tomato paste, turned it wif d oil in the pan, sliced onions into it, added salt n maggi, nd continued stirring. D taste was beyond awful mehn.....infact d kin laff wey my roomates use me laff dat day ehn....I didn't nid a soothsayer to tell me I needed to learn d cooking basics asap...lolOf The Greatest Gbagba! Shoo! People ate rubbish in school oh! I doubt the same goes for those that went to private schools. |
Egusi soup cooked with Gino tomato paste, Concoction rice cooked with preferably the same tomatoe paste, Manually blended tomatoes mixed with tomato paste plus dried fish. Basically, it's all about adding tomatoe paste. Reppin all Current and old Obafemi Awolowo University students! Amanda Awetu! |

My take: Blogging should first be a passion, a desire to use the power of words and other communication tools to effect change in a sector of the Nigerian economy. Even if it apparently looks like no one is reading your content, it doesn't mean, because unknowingly to you, you could be changing someone's life and perception about what you are Blogging about. It is correct to say that there is still a large fertile soil that is Bloggers are yet to tap into, like issues about education, power, health, psychology etc. |
That vacancy is an invitation to be part of either the oppressive and frustrating lecturers or the group of disgruntled non teaching staff. I know because I school in OAU at the moment.

hello everyone.I am a 300 level student of Psychology in one of the universities in Nigeria. i have currently been given an assignment/project to carry out an experimental research design but the issue is that i am stuck on not having a good topic to begin with, so i value your ideas about what i can carry my research on that is experimental in nature, thanks. |
