That is y schools( including private ones) that they flog students anyhow, once the parents get a new school and do their research as to whether they mercilessly flog there and if okay, should quickly relocate their kids there, don't wait till the child starts hating to go to school.

To be an only son in a society like Nigeria is very traumatic , my eldest brother was victim of bullies because he was only male child of 4 children my parent had then, to extend they used 6inch nail and insert in his skull, luckily he didn't die, this made my mother to cry to bitterly and wishes God could give her 1 more son so my brother will have another brother, God heard her prayers and gave him more 4 sons in roll , we fight in pack like lions, if u find one person the rest will gang up against you irrespective of who's wrong , among the boys I happened to be the last of the boys , also the tallest, the biggest/heaviest and strongest of my siblings , I was equally bullied but I dont hold back because I will give u dose of ur own medicine , I became a nightmare to bullies and defender of the bullied , when I was in school a female friend who happens to be an orphan was moles beaten and raped , the rapist dare her to do her worst , I took up the case despite we had nothing in common just classmates, I got the boy arrested and I made sure they charged him to court, after his parent pleade to withdraw the case from court and are wiling to pay the damages, by then he has spent close to 3 months in there. They must give Sly justice

Well am loved by all because am friendly , generous and more importantly dad live abroad so I always come to school with new things, even teachers wanted to date me, but my only mistake I no knack any of them back then despite they throw themselves on me, only bully I had those days, one male teacher who happens to be my girlfriend crush, the girl senior me with 1class but we were dating, this man used to bully me in front of morning Assembly, he always pick me out to do one particular task. He insult and harasses me because of a girl it really hurt my feelings, the one that break the camelback, i returned from break a bit late, he ordered me to kneel down in front of my girlfriend , which I obeyed, that one no do him, he gave my classmate Cane to flog me in front of my girlfriend and junior students am in ss2 then , I stood my ground, I stand up, pick my bag from class and walk away, i stopped coming to school, even the owner of that school had to come to our house to beg me personally because my parent are patron in that school, but I refused to go back, so many of my friends withdrawn from the school and we registered for extra moral lessons for waec , they sacked him because of that, 7 years after that incident I saw him while driving, I stopped him he didn't even recognise me, but he was very ashamed and sorry of his hatred towards me, he wasn't looking good from his appearance, I took to him to a restaurant and bought food and drink for him and also dashed him 50k... he was shedding tears like pikin I told him I have forgiven him.
