This thing called MTN Mobile electricity is total scrap and rubbish I regret bringing into my house I mean for now except some improvement is done on it. Initially it didn't work with my 110-240 LCD TV powered TV so I bought a new LED 55W which it was eventually able to power and I was happy but my happiness was short circuited when I noticed that even when it is fully charged to 100%, it drains even faster than the cheapest China phone in the market with 1000MAh.
As if that one is not enough, the system stopped working for more than 2weeks and all they have been telling is to press this, press that. Eventually, they said they will send their support guy to come and check and till today, I'm still waiting for him till today yet they are busy advertising 'upandan'. Please if you see him, tell him I'm still waiting. Lol

Compensation Plan
Let us discuss a bit about the company's compensation plan. Yes, this is the plan that shows what distributors or members are entitled to.
Alliance in motion claims to reward its distributors in 6 different ways which are:

1. Retail profit income of 25%

2. Referral Bonus of N5,000 for every person you refer or invite to join the business and purchase a global package.

3. Matching Bonus of N9,600 every time there is a referral at the left and right side of your binary organization or an equivalent product purchase up to a maximum of N153,200 per day. One unique thing I see about aims payment plan is you get N9,600 matching bonus whether the match comes from your direct referral or indirectly from anyone under your network of distributors.

4. Unilevel Income – 5% on monthly purchases of your direct referrals and their respective down lines’ purchases up to the 10th level. The 10 levels are completed from further down when anyone in the top 10 level made no purchase for the month. This applies to all your direct referrals and respective down lines no mater how many (no limit).

5. Stair Step Plan (Overriding Commission)

Silver Executive – 10% overriding commission on your group’s sales volume. Achieved when the equivalent points of your group’s sales volume reached 10 points.

Gold Executive – 20% overriding commission on your group’s sales volume. Achieved when the equivalent points of your group’s sales volume reached 100 points.

The only reason I think many Nigerians are quick to label any network marketing business as a scam is due to our usual way of jumping into businesses without making any background research so when they get in and find something they didn't know or wasn't told, they jump out and label it a scam.
The bitter truth is everybody cannot make money in MLM and ofcourse even in traditional businesses so trying to convince anyone with failure mentality is a big waste of time and manpower as they will certainly become problems for you still in future.

I receive regularly. No cause for alarm. Just carry your account officer along, if possible let him know ahead. Usually if there is scrutiny, they will ask you acct officer first if he/she is okay with the transaction.

Very correct here. As long as it is genuine, you can receive any amount most especially if you operate a domiciliary account. Just preinform your bank through your account officer and you are good to go!

This could be due to several reasons you can't tell until you troubleshoot. t can be either your/provider's units is exhausted or your SMS content contains unacceptable words such as bank names or other spam words. Just contact your provider, I am sure they will be able to help or just PM me

It's either because they do not want to be fined again by NCC or they want to control the market. I was surprised that my line was pre-subscribed to the feature. When I called their customer care center, their rep told me I subscribed to it, of course I know I never requested for such.

The MTN Do Not Disturb (DND) facility is a new service from telecommunications services providers in Nigeria that allows their subscribers to decide whether to receive bulkSMS and promotional messages on their mobile numbers or not. It is service that allows customers to opt out of receiving promotional messages for 3rd Party services (Bulk SMS, VAS promos, etc.).

This became imperative following a directive from Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to all Nigerian telecommunication companies effective July 1, 2016, to allow their subscribers the freedom of receiving only messages they deem beneficial to them and to be able to block their line from receiving irrelevant messages. The major advantage of this service is that you are at liberty to block unsolicited bulk messages from getting to your phone but mind you this does not include text messages from MTNN.
Features of The Do Not Disturb Feature

There are two (2) major features of the DND which are:

1) Full Blocked mode allowing customers to completely block their lines from receiving ALL kinds or promotional messages
via SMS and IVR. This automatically blocks bulk SMS messages from getting to your line, it may also include bank SMS alerts and/or related messages.

2) Partially Blocked Mode: The partial block mode allow customers the flexibility of filtering promotional messages they wish to receive by unchecking their areas of interest ranging from Banking/Insurance, Health, Education, Real Estate, Sports, Religion, Automobile, Entertainment, Tourism etc. Any category selected is blocked meaning if you wish to receive from any category, you have to uncheck it manually from the service configuration panel.
Disadvantages of DND

The Do Not Disturb feature would ordinarily have been a very good feature to help us reduce irrelevant and unsolicited SMS messages most especially from the telecom companies themselves; MTN, Glo, Etisalat. Ironically, we have been made to understand that DND service is ONLY applicable to third party services e.g. VAS, Bulk SMS. This means that SMS messages sent by network operators will be delivered whereas some other important 3rd party bulksmsmessages such as wedding invitation, religious messages, and the likes may not be delivered to any line subscribed to DND in full blocking mode.

However, we observed MTN Nigeria has implemented the DND feature in full force leading to cases of failed and undelivered
bulk SMS messages within the MTN network. We also observed that some subscribers have been pre-subscribed to this feature
without their consent. Our candid advice, therefore, is to completely deactivate this feature from your line to enable you to receive important SMS text messages which may come as bulk SMS.

To check if your line is active on DND, text the word STATUS to 2442 and wait for a response from MTN. If you are blocked, you will likely receive an SMS similar to the image below.

The Do Not Disturb feature would have been very nice if MTN can allow subscribers filter their own message as well not restricting to bulk SMS & VAS promos only. Bulk SMS website promotion as it relates to Nigerians, I personally think online advertisement is more effective; Google Adwords and Facebook ads but as someone said earlier, its way too expensive and in some cases you may end up owing Google or Facebook without even a single 'serious' customer, some old folks will know what I am talking about.
