With regard to your point about the Israelites that went to Egypt, this is extensively covered in section 2 of the book under the heading, "the reverse exodus of the Hebrews." It follows the Israelites brief stay in Egypt. However, following the Babylonians invasion and destruction of ancient Egypt, the Hebrews fled further into Africa south of the Sahara.

Sounds like you have too much free time on your hands. Do you work? If so, it is not taxing you enough; get a second one. If you are too very busy, you would have little time for philandering.

We were happily married,i have a good job and she was a contented full house wife.We both agreed to travel abroad to have our first child,then we also traveled for the second baby delivery and the trouble started.

She decided she doesn't want to come back that we should stay back,i left her there after we couldn't conclude hoping she will follow me,when i discovered she has made up her mind,i resigned from my job and joined her and our kids abroad because i love her so much and cant live without her.That was the beginning of my nightmare,she turned from a humble,innocent wife to a matured woman who always want to defend her right.

During a hot argument one day,i beat her up because i was tired of condoling her excesses,she ran outside and called the police,that was how i found myself in Nigeria.No job,no hope,no home.For 3 years i was roaming the street like a mad man,my family and friends rejected me because they felt i was foolish,i suffered and tasted poverty.

Then as God will have it,i got another job,better than the former one,i can boldly say im a multi millionaire now,God restored me.But now i despised women,i hate them so much,i sleep with them anyhow and doesn't give a hoot about them,i don't believe love still exist anymore.

My wife has been calling me for the past 6months now,it must have dawned on her that she has made a terrible mistake,but now i hate her and even the kids.

First of all, your friend[b] doesn't hate this woman.[/b] In fact he still loves her dearly. That much is obvious from his rant about her. The mere fact that you posted this here looking for other people's advice is proof positive of that.

There is a fine line between love and hate, sometimes we can confuse one for the other. You have strong feelings for her and those strong feelings should tell you you are still madly in love with her. It is only those we really care about that bring out such emotions in us.

Think about it. Do you have any friends you don't like? Do you care about what they say or do? Of course not! Because you don't care about them anymore. However, if you cared about them, then you will notice whatever they say and do. It is that simple. Therefore, the mere fact that you have these strong feelings towards the woman shows how much you still love her.

Reading your comments, it is your friend who has to change; not her. According to you, she has matured into a woman and because he did not like that, he beat the crap out of her? That was really selfish of him and a silly thing he did. The Police should have arrested him, locked him up and thrown away the key to his cell. Listen up! She is a mother now, she can't continue to remain the fresh faced girl that he fell in love with and married.   Once upon a time a time, she was a flat chested broomstick. Then God gave her hips, and bosoms etc. that turned her into who she was at the time he got attracted to her and he fell in love. If she had remained a broomstick, he would never have noticed her. That was a change she went through. Did anyone give her grief for that? No! Because that was a necessary change she had to go through to become a woman for him to marry. Tell your friend to go and look for this lady and beg her on his knees to forgive his bad behaviour. After that he should TALK to her. By talking, I mean LISTEN to her. Hopefully the two of them will re-discover the friendship and the love they once had for each other. Oh and by the way, whatever happens, he shouldn't abandon the children because he can't have their mother.

What is really defeating you is lack of knowledge of your true identity. Knowledge is power. If you have the knowledge of the origins of you and your sweetheart you can turn things in your favour.

It is a natural thing that when you love someone and you meet other members of his/her family, you will be attracted to them as well. Remember the physical qualities that attracted you to the person you are with, is present in these family members as well. Those qualities may be even more pronounced, and you'd find yourself falling head over heels with the wrong brother or sister. Also the fact that their relative found you attractive means they are also going to be attracted to you in return. Thus it should not come as a shock to find, you like your partner's brother or your like your partner's sister and they also fancy you.

What you do about those feelings is what matters. Liking people does not mean you should sleep with them. Rather the fact you all have this attraction for each other should allow you to build strong friendships and become a strong family where you the new partner, is greatly loved within your partner's family.

If you find you are weak and can't stay faithful to the one you are with, but wish to have an affair with some other member of his or her family, the best thing to do is to avoid the family altogether, STAY AWAY. Because if you don't,  and you are caught or the affair becomes public knowledge, all that attraction they have for you, will quickly turn to hate.

Better to use your head and do the right thing than allow emotions to wreck your life and that of those you claim to love.

Concerning the Israelites whom God chose to be his people; he laid out his conditions at Mt Sinai before having a relationship with them as people. If they broke it, then the relationship was over. In fact, later on in the Bible, we read that when the Israelites broke those conditions, God first sent his prophets to warn them. When they refused to listen, he sent the dreaded Assyrians to destroy them. Later on he unleashed the Babylonians and the Romans to finish them off.

Thus, for anyone to claim God loves unconditionally shows they do not have a clue what the Bible teaches and therefore, are just foolishly parroting what some charlatan Pastor has told them.

There is nothing like unconditional love on this planet. Even the greatest love you'd find, which is between mother and child, has limits.

Sure they did have good times together. Five children for the same man should tell you there was real sexual passion between the two of them. They fancied each other as hell. That will also explain why even though the man had a tiger by the tail, he held onto her. Her jealousy and the fact he went back for her after they were separated says it all.

It is ignorance of our history that makes people assume Yorubas and Igbos are different ethnic groups. The truth is they and other southern Nigerians are actually one people separated by dialects.

BTW, what you are saying is not true either. Many of us had a good education because our mother's who incidentally never went to school, saw to it that their children had a good education. I agree with you 100 percent.

I would not like anyone beating up on my mother, I would not like any man beating up on my daughter, and I would not like any man beating up on my sister. Hence, I don't think it is right for me or any man for that matter, to beat up his wife.
