Odedenshi1: Hello all, Compliments of the season. From perusing previous pages of this thread, I realized that AD has been mostly discussed, because of the recent development. Suffice it to say that my checks on schengenvisainfo.com reveal that the EU is updating the Visa Code, with a bid of strengthening the common Visa Policy, while taking the issues of Migration and Security concerns into consideration. This could be the reason for the adjustments made by the German Consulate, they are being proactive because implementation begins February 2nd, 2020.
The main changes foreseen by the updated changes are as follows; - Higher Visa fees. - Extended application submission periods. - Electronic application submission forms in most countries and so on.
You can find more info in schengenvisainfo.com.
I don’t think there is cause for alarm or panic. Let the AL, AD and Visum hustle continue. May the good Lord reward our hustle with SUCCESS in Jesus name.
IT WILL SURELY END IN PRAISE!!!
Odedenshi1 But that relates to Schengen visa and I was at the embassy on the 2nd of December and they still attended to Schengen visa without any issues only student visa is having this issue of no date and family re Union and work visa is normally 12 months wait |

Sincerely speaking I think it has because even during winter at least Cat A was getting dates and few Cat B but now nothing at all March is when most schools resume and it's not even far at all Is that when they plan to give everyone date? Imagine the workload and it's now that they are few working It's a sad story really clintonsparkz: like play, no one is getting AD, category A and B, d thing tire me, or are people getting? omo has the 12 months interval wait started, oh my! |

Seriously you're not lying the guy may go and kill merkel one morning and be carrying Nigeria flag I can never forget how he was bashing Germany saying it's not a place he will advise anybody to go But see how almost willing to do anything to enter that same Germany Abeg if you dey wait for date like me worrying won't solve anything let's just wait and see what the embassy plans to do first. As far as I know 95% of summer applicant haven't gotten a date yet so let's just sit tight and chill princejck: @ Coldie
I beg you in the name of God no come Germany even if Embassy mistakenly give you visa.. nahh people like u nahh dey give Nigeria bad name abroad.

4realisreal: Pls pls pls there should not be reason for any argument about whether or not AD will be given this summer, the best thing is to make a subtle enquiry about all the issues surrounding AD either by Phn call or by visiting the lagos Consulate. And this has just been done by one of us.... And what was the outcome?? |

clintonsparkz: Guy u are so pessimistic, whatever u believe biko believe it for yourself, don't rub it on everyone, if he prays let him do so, I am optimistic that things will change by January, so whatever u wrote up there is for u alone, one thing I have noticed about this embassy stuff is how unstable they are, they make policies and change, so please let the optimistic ones be. Bro I am not pessimistic I'm being factual. Like I said in my other quote all I wanna ask how about us who booked before they put that statement on their site If we are affected then it's a jonzing tin we are on then |

The embassy has literally stated why you should expect long waiting times.
Why are you taking it so personal/spiritual?
IamNotUnderstanding Like I don't understand Something they've explained and said how it will be you're now saying you want to pray for protocol to be broken People funny o. Please don't go shoot yourself in the leg The humble fact is that most of you now wanting to take this to different authorities This same issue came up during winter Please don't try it It will end badly trust me They can't do anything You think the embassy makes decisions without the approval of the people you wanna report to?? That's why I say whatever the embassy has said I final No going back on it That's how they changed the booking style in May some guys were doubting saying by November it will go back to the normal style of either email or pick date yourself If you're still lost and hoping they change their mad Sorry to burst your bubble but they won't It's a subtle way of saying they don't want us anymore in large numbers The only thing I just wanna ask them What of those that booked before that message came on the site
But then going back on their decision Nahhh it won't happen nothing you say or do will budge those guys trust me Las Las na their country the BA na your own no be them go spend am |

faithzy: Your IQ is so low. I hope you start learning He's actually not wrong but you are The BA money you're putting You think they care or is it their money? It's yours You're not putting any money into their economy Nothing whatsoever They need you more than you need them Do you know how much tax they'll be collecting from you when you start working These guys are just slowly telling us that they don't want as much international students anymore as before Tbh if you don't see it as sign Then don't bother I won't advise anyone to even apply to any school for now sef cus na waste of money Me wey just apply yesterday I don confuse sef |

shantelleasante: This category B date thing is actually not nice o...its fustrating! And it only applies to The German consulate in Nigeria. They should have a sole Headquarters where someone can lay a heartfelt complain about this thing...its not actually fair..other countries you even pick your date This is so not fair Sincerely the wait is very killing Not to talk of people like me who had to endure this during winter too and nothing to show at the end of the day it's quite sad and It has thought me a lesson. Always have a backup plan ready |
