Is there anything I should do before I send my wife own to Wes because she has a 2year diploma+bsc, I hope that they won't both be evaluated by wes as one certificate? |

Thanks Am looking at general living (getting a job in the uk)how easy it is to make money there compared to Canada. I want to do an msc in public health or adult nursing, also I am a married man with a kid So I am really weighing my options. Or I should just channel my energy into immigration Canada icon8: You get Canadian PR the moment you set foot on Canadian soil (through any of the skilled immigrant programs) and you qualify for citizenship after just 3 years. To get PR in the UK, you must have lived here for a minimum of 5 years (ILR), and another 1 year (totalling 6 years) before you qualify for citizenship. |

It's University of jos we both graduated from tunlex01: Without the name of the universities, it will be impossible to advise right.
In addition, check the occupation list to see the occupation you can nominate. Visit www.anzscosearch.com You may need to register on the website to view the details below On the top middle page click "Lists" (on a laptop/computer) or click the Hamburger sign (3 horizontal lines) to select "Lists" if you are using a mobile device Go through the 3 lists MLTSSL, STSOL and ROL Click any of the occupations that best relate to what you do. When you click the occupation, scroll down to 'Anzsco code' and scroll to 'Tasks' Check if the tasks relate to the occupation you have selected. Revert here with occupation(s) you deem relate to what you do and we will take it up from there |

Please can you send me your IELTS study materials Lexy123: Late PPR announcement but really better late than never. Very long post alert!!!
ITA 496 - July 2020 (Cant remember the date but it was the first all program draw after covid drama) AOR - August 8 2020 Biometric - Sept 2oish dont really remember PPR - Nov 18 Vfs returned passport - Jan 22 2021 (run from vfs lagos abeg)
Background
Started japa plans since 2018 but never took it seriously. I glanced through nairaland that period and decided to start with IQAS. Did that and the evaluation came in Feb of 2019. But by then I was more interested in traveling to UK. I sat down with uk visiting thread (I can give Justwise a big kiss here). It was so self explanatory and easy to do I was like haaaaa.. Bear in mind I already had 2 UK refusals before I stumbled on the thread. But I get coconut head I said the 3rd time would be the charm. I sat down with that nairaland thread and did the visa by myself. Visa came out, I travelled and came back.
Over confidence was worrying me and I decided to apply for Canada visit also immediately I got the UK visa. Canada bounced me and said family ties in canada bla bla bla. I said no wahala, I would come back from UK and reapply. Then almighty covid happened. Lockdown ensued.
My sis called me one day during lockdown and said oya go and continue your canada pr. That's how I registered for MOD in May. Wrote it after lockdown and had 9, 9, 7.5, 8.5. Used ielts liz, a bit of Jay, cambridge 1-13 and youtube videos on listening. Dived into the pool and got ITA.
Got reference letter from my present and previous place of employment to make up 3 years. Sent bi-weekly whatsapp msgs to my previous boss to ensure I was fresh in his mind incase ircc called. Before village ppl would want to take control. Important to note that I was paid cash here and I worked here for over 2 years. I just stated it in the reference letter that I was paid cash das all. I didn't do cash certificate. It felt like I would be trying too hard if I added that. At the end of the day it's whatever makes you sleep at night.
I had 3 separate pair of eyes look at my application. I looked at it from the point of view of the VO also. Saved up majority of my proof of funds and got the rest from my dearest mama.
After biometrics, the plan was to request for gcms every month (wetin consine agbero with overload). I would disturb then until they answer me. Lo and behold, first gcms in October showed everything passed, security not yet started. I started dancing. I knew it was about to go down. I sha have not committed any crime.
Nov 18 golden mail arrived and vfs lagos started their drama.
This thread is a treasure trove and for the newbies I beg of you read page 1. Everything you need is there. Almost somebody has passed through whatever questions you have and you will definitely find your answers there. I learnt by force by fire when I sent DM and nobody will respond. I kuku respected myself and found my way to page 1.
Justwise is the real MVP. Also all the selfless people who answer question here, I doff my cap to you. Did the whole process from begining to end without any agent help
See y'all in cannyland soon!!! |

Thanks so much We will evaluate our degrees, and start preparing for IELTS Ladywinterfell: In that case Wifey should be the PA, she should try and get another certificate (there are shorter courses that can serve as 2 or more e.g BCS in IT, Cima , CIIN etc) please research more on the one that will be easier for her
While getting the ‘2 or more cert’ she should work towards completing her 3 years work experience to get the full point AND also try and max her IELTS to gain the points she already lost due to age. You will also evaluate your degree and also sit for IELTS if you are accompanying
Alternatively, the two of you can go ahead to evaluate your degree(s) NOW, write IELTS, create seperate profile and sit in the pool then research extensively on each province PNP.
However,if wifey can’t go through much stress as PA. You will have to learn french and sit for TEF/TCF
Whichever you decide, please do the bolded first, the universe can smile on you to get PNP In one of these provinces. That’s extra 600 points added to your 420 which will automatically get you ITA.
All the best. |

I did calculate again Mine crs is 420 Am so down Ladywinterfell: Are you sure of the CRS score @bolded
At 35/36 with 2 or more cert, even with maxed IELTS your CRS will be within 440-450 range
Except you schooled in Canada or wrote TEF or you are claiming sibling point, please recalculate your CRS score and check if you did not mistakenly choose Canada work/school experience. |

Thanks so much for the reply The 468 is for both me and wife, with me as the PA. And wifey doesn't have the time to go back to school now due to work and taking care of our baby. That means when am ready to enter pool/ create EE profile,I should be the PA? niyogeol: Hello, the 468, is it with wife accompanying or just you? If it is, you should be able to get ITA anytime from now based on the recent draw cutoff if you are already in the pool.
Again, having a different name on a certificate with your wife is not an issue. You should open a WES account for yourself and one for your wife. Then get your transcripts (BSc and PGD) as well as the certificates from the degrees to them. Same for your wife.
For yourself, you will evaluate your BSc and PGD.
Your wife tend to have age on her side that can position her to be the PA, but her education is not enough. She should try to get one of the extra certificate courses people do and get her work experience to 3 years. |

And am I opening different Wes account for us both, if sending 2 certificate? 3- Am I evaluating only my pgd and bsc for wife? Any other suggestions would be appreciated, thanks a lot as we are beginning our process this month |

After my calculations of my crs scores Mine- 517 Wife-478 So am good to go as the PA? Should my wife and I still run the joint account? brogxy: It may sound rude by directing you to page 1, but the very first post on page 1 has all you need.
Your age will really reduce your scores if you are the PA while work experience and education will affect the scores if your wife is the PA.
Nevertheless, try the link for the CRS to simulate your scores interchanging the PA to know who best fits as the PA.
IMO, adding second language (French) is the only option to increase your scores to the current scores. |
