From what I have read, it says that the funds in the amount of $460,000 in account 263226700 held by First Heritage Bank in the name of Bola Tinubu represent the proceeds of narcotics trafficking or were involved in financial transactions in violation.....................

Secondly, if indeed it was tax, then pray tell why everyone is saying that it is drug money and Tinubu hasn't at least sued one person for defamation?

How much was Tinubu earning then that $460,000 will be tax and from what?

A statement by The Head, Media and Communications of the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Diran Onifade, on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, revealed how the former Anambra State governor was held up at Heathrow Airport by the United Kingdom Immigration officers over suspicion of impersonation.

According to Onifade, Obi was detained and questioned for a duplication offence suggesting someone must have been impersonating him in London.

The UK Immigration officers reportedly accosted the Labour Party candidate on arrival at the Heathrow Airport in London from Nigeria on Good Friday, April 7, 2023.

While on the queue for the necessary airport protocols, the officials handed him a detention note and told him to step aside.

Onifade said, “Since the impersonator is still at large, the scenario is unimaginable as Obi could be implicated in a series of forbidden acts and even be framed in a manner that could be a huge embarrassment to him, his family, his party, the obidient Movement, and indeed Nigeria, where he currently and indisputably remains the conscience of the people”.

“The immigration officials who were also taken aback at the reaction of the people were forced to reveal that Obi was being questioned for a ‘DUPLICATION offense’ meaning that someone has been impersonating him in London.

“The high implication of the offense is that the impersonator could be committing all kinds of weighty crimes and other dubious acts and it would be recorded in Obi’s name."

Sowore's tweet read: "There is something suspicious about @peterobi’s UK “Immigration Story,” because I don’t see how a modern biometric passport with his fingerprints and biometric identity could lead to his being seen as an “impersonator” or a clone, more curious is why he’s sending third parties to tell half of the story. Obi challenged the APM that the suit was statute-barred. However, the Appeal Court said it is not statute-barred but APM has no locus, no jurisdiction.



Once a court declares that a person or body has no locus standi, the Court has no jurisdiction to rule on same. If they do, it is null and void in totality.



Simply put, what a party does can only be challenged by an aspirant in that same Party. It is no business of another Political Party or even any other member.



PS: Just to add, very recently in February, the SC stated that it is the exclusive Prerogative of a Party to grant waivers. (See Akan Udofia v Ita Enang). Kekere-Ekun JSC stated that waivers fall into the domestic affairs of a Party and the Court has no business with it.
