Generally, countries that enact religious laws tend to be poorer and backward in human development indices. A contrast to Indonesia is Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Those countries are richer, stable, functioning and more prosperous than Indonesia. You don't see Singaporeans working as maids in Saudi Arabia, and even semi-skilled Vietnamese who work outside the country are very choosy and opt to work in Singapore or Japan.

I don’t agree with the OP. Atiku’s antecedents are terrible things to consider. He is a careless seller of national resources, a very imprudent manager of resources. And an embezzler of resources. No matter how much prepares such a person is, it’s irresponsible to vote for such a person. And if he is prepared, why does he tell lies and find it impossible to unite his party?
