Good morning Everyone , I’m hoping to get some clarification regarding claiming foreign work experience through self-employment for Express Entry.

My business was officially registered in 2024, but I started actively operating it in 2020. I’m hoping to claim points for my business experience from 2023 to 2025.

Would it be possible to claim the work experience I gained before the business was officially registered, provided I can supply sufficient supporting evidence?

I have evidence such as customer chats, transaction records, receipts, bank statements showing payments received from customers, delivery records, and reference letters from business partners, customers, and shipping companies I worked with.

Would these documents be sufficient to demonstrate that I was actively running the business during the period I intend to claim, even though the business was registered later?

I would appreciate any clarification on whether this experience could qualify for foreign work experience points under Express Entry🙏🏼 Thank you🙏🏼

Before paying for any master's, check how it will count: IRCC awards education points from your ECA, so WES (or another designated body) has to assess it as a master's equivalent. Confirm the programme is NUC-accredited, and look at the CRS points table on canada.ca so you can compare the points you'd gain against the cost.

The person dont know french and she is fresh out of uni. With healthscore consistently tilting on 476, bsc alone wouldnt cut it and 2 degree or more wouldnt cut it, only masters can boost her, she is below 30 and single but has a bf, we’re hoping if the whole thing works well then before they send ppr she and the bf can marry and move in.

if you like your peace, avoid this mission. There's a username that's advertising a quick Masters and PhD certification on this forum. The school they use is Imo state university.
I advised someone I know not to go that route, the person went and got the certificate and tried to evaluate with WES, it's been almost 5 months; WES accepted all documents and abandoned the evaluation.

Pls, in case the person is going to read, don't take it personally. I just want to save people of the stress of wasting resources.

What you are speaking of is buying of masters which u dont have to go to class or do tests for right?

I want to do the masters itself which is why i said 1year. Something like executive masters. I dont care the course. It can even be in fishery, provided wes can evaluate it.

Please where in nigeria can one do a masters for one year. And would not require strict entrace exams like the likes of unilag.

I just want a very docile school, i dont mind the course, i just want to use it for ircc point upgrade.

No it wont. Enugu and lagos is in nigeria. If u are wanted in enugu it does not mean lagos police cannot catch you.

I know that if you are unmarried and you later marry after aor score wont be recalculated.

ACCA RQF LEVEL 4. Faster than BCS. Exam is on-demand, that is; can be taken at anytime you're ready. You can walk in today and be done with it but BCS, you will have to wait for exam time.

You dont have to be worried, worse comes to worse they will ask for clarification/loe.

Since UK banks don't give bank letter and we have to use bank statements instead, do we need to add a LOE to explain this? Or simply uploading the statements is okay?

Upload both loe and the statement, this way if the agent needs clarification concerning the statement ur loe will easily serve that purpose, therefore u wont be delaying ur application because the agent might send for more explanation concerning certain inflow and outflow on ur statement, but if there is an loe, the loe would sort that out.
