not too difficult maths and English questions and essay. go with a calculator. it will make your job faster. I wrote mine without a calc and still passed. but mind you, I wrote the test abt 2 years ago. regarding the pay, just ask for something that suits u i.e something that is significantly more than what u currently earn and also what you feel you are worth.
Thank you. But I would really appreciate more info on the pay, just to be sure I don't insist on something way above their standards and miss the opportunity, and at the same time, I wouldn't want to accept something below par. Please advise and provide more information if you can. Thank you.

Hello House,

Please I'd appreciate any information on WFO Advisors Limited. I was invited for a test this week. Has anyone in the house written their tests previously? What are the likely test and interview questions? What is the salary expectation for someone with about 5 years relevant experience? Is there any other relevant information I should know.

Thank you all for your assistance.
HealthRe: She Has Fibroid, Can She Attempt A Vaginal Delivery? by enkoby: 3:39pm On Mar 25, 2015
Macmilla:
Once a C-section, always a C-section. Add dt to the fibroid she's carrying which we don't know the position, and you won't need me to tell you not to gamble with your sister's life.

Best case scenario, she goes back to C-section as an emergency.
Worst case scenario, she gets a ruptured uterus.

That being said, I must admit that miracles still happen.

The choice is yours.
This is very wrong. I have fibroid and I had my first baby via CS. 2 years later I had my second baby via vaginal delivery. I didn't have any C-section emergency or ruptured uterus. The fibroid is still there, and my next Baby will be via vaginal delivery too, unless the doctors advise otherwise. What I will advise the Op's sister is to seek medical advice. If the doctors examine her and find her suitable for vaginal delivery, she can go for it.

FamilyRe: My Wife Spends Money On Her Parents And Sibling Without My Consent by enkoby: 11:20am On Dec 16, 2013
This is exactly why i advise wives to pursue their careers. Go out there and get yourself a job and earn YOUR OWN INCOME!! If you are woman with your own job earning your own salary, you will not have to get any prior approval from your husband before sending money to your mom/siblings. Wives please dont be entirely dependent on your husbands. carve a niche for yourself. Those of you that are graduates and are still sitting back at home answering housewives should dust up your certificates and go get a job. The ones without certificates should go learn a skill and make money biko.

If you earn your money, no man will dictate when and how much to give your people. I placed my mom and my siblings on a monthly salary solely from my own personal earnings from work, and I dont need to clear with hubby to send out money. Let us try and take up some financial responsibilities in our homes abeg. That way, we will not put ourselves in this very difficult position of having to clear with hubby before sending money to the woman that nursed you from childhood to adulthood before being 'kidnapped' by your hubby. tongue tongue

Unless its life threatening please when your doctor says push you better push because Cs no be am . Its 3 years now and the experience is still fresh.
My dear, I had CS too, about a year ago in Reddington Hospital VI. My experience was not soo bad like u r trying to portray. I had d CS on Tuesday and was discharged on Thursday. D whole CS process lasted about 20 mins and i was awake all tru, but felt no pain cos they used epidural (not sure of the spelling). Hours later, after d effect of d pain drugs had subsided, i felt some pain. But it was not alarming. I was sneezing and coughing effortlessly. Within 2 days, i was already on my feet and was discharged. The scar is invincible. I think they call it bikini line. The stitches melted away, there was no need to remove stitches.

Pls my people, a lot depends on the hospital. Ignorance is not bliss!

LewsTherin: No doubt. Mostly I just think it's a combo of big madam and lazy dumasses.

I live in Nigeria. Lagos sef. Wifey and I do major shopping once a month. That should take care of the tine issue. No? Cleaning lady comes in once a week. Does the serious stuff. It's all about management. I know people that need the help to hand them the TV remote so they can change channels. I mean wtf! And nobody should tell me we're not busy. Try running a biz with a 7 to 8 time period. 6 bloody days a week!
Do you have kids? If yes, who stays with the kids when you and wify are at work? Do u have toddlers that are yet to start school? Who stays with them? Who stays with the kids when they get back from school? Please let's all be realistic here. Working mothers need help, whether live in helps or professional ones that come to work daily or weekly. The most important thing is that you are treating the lady well, and that she is happy and content with u. Also, she shouldn't be anything less than 18 yrs so that it doesn't amount to child abuse. And you pay her nothing less than the stipulated minimum wage in nigeria.

I never needed a help until my baby arrived, and I needed to get back to work. She lives with me, I pay above minimum wage, she goes home Saturdays and comes back Sunday evening. She is 25, she cooks and eats whatever she wants without asking for permission, she is 25years old. We have a wonderful working relationship. How is that a bad thing to have a house help or how does that translate to laziness? Abi all women should stay back at home and abandon their career so that the society does not term them lazy?

I had my baby via CS at Reddington Hospital VI Lagos. the whole process did not last more than 20mins, from start to finish. I think the doc used epidural. I didn't feel any pain and i was awake through out the entire process. I even ate solid food (rice and chicken) about 2 hours after the surgery, and was already walking by the following day, although with extra effort. I was discharged 3 days later with no complications and the cut healed nicely. infact, u will have to look really hard, as in study my tummy for some mins before u see the faint line from the cut.

please we have good hospitals here in Nigeria.

luro: I for one enjoy being independent but that comes with a hefty price for family women.
the most crucial stages of a child is between 1and 5 or 8. during this time kids must have all the support an love an grooming both parents can offer.
Being from south Africa, children suffer the most here and ultimately become troubled adults, an that affects society entirely.

Being a wife and mother is already one gigantic job description, then to add on being a career women? some departments will suffer and in most cases its the family home that does.one doesn't see thee effects immediately but in the long run they become impossible to hide and ignore.
personally i love the good things in life and i know to obtain them one has to work, however id rather have my own little establish eg.a hair salon or a clothing shop, things that have the potential for growth over upcoming years then to work a stressful job that consumes alot of your time and under paying.

the perks of having your establishment, get to give ur husband all thee attention he needs when its time to play wife, the kids to are well taken care of, there is just no such thing as being a super women. thats as real as santa clause a fiction. its either u are career women an u stay away from the home front or your a family women thats content with investing time between the family an a little establishment
I completely disagree with you. You can successfully balance your career with your family responsibilities. There are millions of women out there who have a successful career and a wonderful family. they dont have 2 heads. They are mere mortals like you and me. I have been able to combine my career with my family and both departments have turned out to be very successful by all standards. u too can do same. stop looking for excuses to be lazy.

I have said it is the man. Do you agree? Just say 'yes' or 'no'.
I will answer your question directly. In matters like this, where we have all deliberated on the issue, both of us giving good points for and against, I will simply tell him 'U know what? Let's do it your way. I trust your judgment'. this is called submission. I am not giving in to his wishes becos he is an 'area commander', No. I am recognising his position as the head of the family and admitting that he has the necessary competence to make the right decision. Its like massaging his ego, it makes him feel in charge and in control. men are built to be in charge, give him that power to make decisions, and u will see him asking for ur ideas in controversial matters. if u drag 'head' with him, he will always assert his supremacy, which even God had designed to be so. funny that sometimes wen i say ok, lets do it ur way, he'll turn around and say no, lets take ur own option.

Sapele_Don: Could not help but throw this in before leaving for work.

Strange as it sounds, this story really bothered me all through the night in a way I still can't place my hands on.

Men should be very careful about who they make their wives.

From some of the commentaries I have been reading from some of the females here I am assuming (A) they are either not married (B) divorced and happy to cheer another woman towards a divorce (C) simply to young to know the definition of MARRIAGE and everything it encompasses.

Just imagine a commentator saying after telling the husband and mother inlaw her feelings and nothing is done, she will explode.

I read that line and looked at my family across the breakfast table and cannot but bless God for my family.

Just celebrated my eleventh(11th) year wedding annivesary and so can semi-authoritatively talk about marriages, the intrigues and the behind the scene not too pleasant happenings.

Has my marriage been perfect?no.

Who is the chief culprit?me.

I had three weddings(church, registry, traditional)andat all the weddings, the same sermon was preached to my wife by the people joining us in our holy matrimony.

And that is KNOW now that by getting married to him,you are also getting married to his FAMILY and the wife should not only consider herself to be a WIFE but also a DAUGHTER.

Again let's go back to the posters narrative.

She got tired of her mothers inlaw constant complaints?but she could also be your mom,and I am sure your mom sometime while growing up complained about somethings you did.

Did you get FED up with your mother and start throwing a fit?

Wives comes and goes, but mothers will be the same and until you realize that mothers will always be in their son's life permanently, then you will keep having problems in your marriage.

Again, this brings me to the question of what kind of marriages people get into this days.

A marriage based on love and mutual respect not just for each other, but by extension to the extended family will always stand the test of time.

Apparently the posters husband's did not see this fiery part of her before making her a wife,as no man will sanely make a woman a WIFE that with total disregard to decorum, start insulting HIS MOTHER in his presence then use the work place stress as an excuse.

For the SINGLE men reading this. Please and please know the kind of woman you want to make a wife.

In this case the husband willingly or unwillingly got married to this woman,so should deal with the consequences.
spot on!

My mum got married to my dad in 1983, they had my brother that same year. but in 1984, when she took in again, my dad left her and got married to another lady. in that same year (1984), my mum had me. subsequently, my dad died in his second marriage. so from 1984 (28 years ago), my mum took up the responsibility of raising my brother and myself single-handedly. she had brothers and sisters shaa, but they also had their own families and their own responsibilities to take care of. my mom was a civil servant in Anambra State. her salary was next to nothing. but she managed to put us in good primary, secondary and university schools. we went through a lot. At a time, we did not have money to buy kerosene to cook, so we used boiler...yes, we used ring boiler to boil tomatoes by inserting the ring into the bowl of tomatoes and allowing it to boil, then after some time we 'll take off the boiler and add salt and pepper, then viola...food is ready! then we used the same boiler to boil yam, beans and rice. infact at a time, the matter worsened. there was no food at all to eat in the house.. as in no food at all. so my mum suggested that we should declare fasting and prayers that day, so we started fasting and praying in the morning. At about 6pm, when we wanted to close the fasting, there was no food to eat. sow we continued fasting till the next day which was a sunday. my mum told our pastor our plight and he announced it in church. our church members contributed money for us that day. it was quite a lot. lasted us for the next few weeks.

my mum used to wear one cloth to work everyday, when she comes back, she will wash it and hang it to dry so she can wear it the next day. we wore the same school uniforms for years, with all the wear and tear, and on empty stomachs. at a point, our landlord drove us out of the house, so we moved in with an uncle whose wife and kids showed us hell.

Infact, i have so many instances to share, but i cant continue, cos this has brought back bitter memories and i am at my office shedding tears on my keyboard as i type.

but i wont stop without sharing the good news. . my brother is now a medical doctor and i am now a successful lawyer, with a loving husband and a cute little boy. I keep praying to God to preserve my mother for me so that she can reap the full fruits of her labour. God, I cant stop crying. . .

Cyberknight: The foreskin isn't cut away with a knife or other implement, a ring is used to constrict it and it sloughs off. The baby suffers no pain. Very common procedure, so if you have a son, make sure that's how they circumcise him.
My son had the ring circumcision at Reddington Hospital Lagos in April this year. Even with this method, a part of the foreskin is cut off by the doctors. i remember the Pediatrics Surgeon showed me the foreskin that was cut off and asked if i wanted to take it home or if they could discard it for me. . . i couldn't even look at it. i just asked him to discard it himself. my baby didn't even cry anymore than he did b4 the circumcision, i baffed him normally, clothed him normally, there was no heavy bleeding, and the slight bleeding he had stopped that same day.

Foreign AffairsMeet The World's Poorest President by enkoby(op): 4:05pm On Nov 15, 2012
It's a common grumble that politicians' lifestyles are far removed from those of their electorate. Not so in Uruguay. Meet the president - who lives on a ramshackle farm and gives away most of his pay.

Laundry is strung outside the house. The water comes from a well in a yard, overgrown with weeds. Only two police officers and Manuela, a three-legged dog, keep watch outside.

This is the residence of the president of Uruguay, Jose Mujica, whose lifestyle clearly differs sharply from that of most other world leaders.

President Mujica has shunned the luxurious house that the Uruguayan state provides for its leaders and opted to stay at his wife's farmhouse, off a dirt road outside the capital, Montevideo.

The president and his wife work the land themselves, growing flowers.

This austere lifestyle - and the fact that Mujica donates about 90% of his monthly salary, equivalent to $12,000 (£7,500), to charity - has led him to be labelled the poorest president in the world.

"I may appear to be an eccentric old man... But this is a free choice."
"I've lived like this most of my life," he says, sitting on an old chair in his garden, using a cushion favoured by Manuela the dog.

"I can live well with what I have."

His charitable donations - which benefit poor people and small entrepreneurs - mean his salary is roughly in line with the average Uruguayan income of $775 (£485) a month.

All the president's wealth - a 1987 VW Beetle
In 2010, his annual personal wealth declaration - mandatory for officials in Uruguay - was $1,800 (£1,100), the value of his 1987 Volkswagen Beetle.

This year, he added half of his wife's assets - land, tractors and a house - reaching $215,000 (£135,000).

That's still only about two-thirds of Vice-President Danilo Astori's declared wealth, and a third of the figure declared by Mujica's predecessor as president, Tabare Vasquez.

Elected in 2009, Mujica spent the 1960s and 1970s as part of the Uruguayan guerrilla Tupamaros, a leftist armed group inspired by the Cuban revolution.

He was shot six times and spent 14 years in jail. Most of his detention was spent in harsh conditions and isolation, until he was freed in 1985 when Uruguay returned to democracy.

Those years in jail, Mujica says, helped shape his outlook on life.

"I'm called 'the poorest president', but I don't feel poor. Poor people are those who only work to try to keep an expensive lifestyle, and always want more and more," he says.

"This is a matter of freedom. If you don't have many possessions then you don't need to work all your life like a slave to sustain them, and therefore you have more time for yourself," he says.

"I may appear to be an eccentric old man... But this is a free choice."

The Uruguayan leader made a similar point when he addressed the Rio+20 summit in June this year: "We've been talking all afternoon about sustainable development. To get the masses out of poverty.

"But what are we thinking? Do we want the model of development and consumption of the rich countries? I ask you now: what would happen to this planet if Indians would have the same proportion of cars per household than Germans? How much oxygen would we have left?

"Does this planet have enough resources so seven or eight billion can have the same level of consumption and waste that today is seen in rich societies? It is this level of hyper-consumption that is harming our planet."

Mujica accuses most world leaders of having a "blind obsession to achieve growth with consumption, as if the contrary would mean the end of the world".
But however large the gulf between the vegetarian Mujica and these other leaders, he is no more immune than they are to the ups and downs of political life.

"Many sympathise with President Mujica because of how he lives. But this does not stop him for being criticised for how the government is doing," says Ignacio Zuasnabar, a Uruguayan pollster.

The Uruguayan opposition says the country's recent economic prosperity has not resulted in better public services in health and education, and for the first time since Mujica's election in 2009 his popularity has fallen below 50%.

This year he has also been under fire because of two controversial moves. Uruguay's Congress recently passed a bill which legalised abortions for pregnancies up to 12 weeks. Unlike his predecessor, Mujica did not veto it.
He is also supporting a debate on the legalisation of the consumption of cannabis, in a bill that would also give the state the monopoly over its trade.

"Consumption of cannabis is not the most worrying thing, drug-dealing is the real problem," he says.

However, he doesn't have to worry too much about his popularity rating - Uruguayan law means he is not allowed to seek re-election in 2014. Also, at 77, he is likely to retire from politics altogether before long.

When he does, he will be eligible for a state pension - and unlike some other former presidents, he may not find the drop in income too hard to get used to.
